I just called over there and got a recording thanking everyone for their support, but stating they were officially«closed». Is that closed closed or closed for the day? Anyone know?

Good pizza that’s a step above the norm for a very fair price. Everything I’ve had has been really good, and they’re just down the street.

This is definitely the best pizza place in Allen. Grimaldes has nothing on this restaurant!

Delicious. Fresh. Never disappointing. We love the simple, fresh spinach salad and homemade dressing. The wings are delicious with just the right flavor. The Kahula pork pizza is great, but our favorite? The bacon mac’n’cheese. FANTASTIC cold weather dinner! Thanks, Chef Tony for value and quality.

Great Pizza. Fresh Toppings. Speedy Delivery. Great Variety. The fresh Spinach for topping off the Pizza is great. Bought a Groupon and was astounded by how good it is. Love artisan pizza and this place does it right. We have had all the pizzas on the menu and all were killer!

This place is just slightly above average as far as the pizzas and salads are concerned. I bought a groupon here based on the Unilocal ratings and felt rather underwhelmed.

Crazy Tomato is way better. I was extremely underwhelmed by this pizza. We ordered the mighty meatball based on reviews I read — make no mistake, this is just a sausage pizza with bell peppers and basil. Nothing special. Overall I would say this pizza is weak, it was bland and more like a flatbread then a pizza. I guess if you sprinkle basil on a pizza you can call it «artisanal». The cheese bread was weak also, it was too crusty and the slight sprinkling of cheese had separated from the dough. We threw it out. Nothing cheesy about it. I was looking forward to the Caesar salad I ordered but 45 min after placing my order I get a call that they were out. At 5:15pm. On a Thursday. Again, the best pizza in town is Crazy Tomato and I was stupid for trying this place when I know I can get a great pie from them down the street.

Really good pizza unexpected from a take-out only place. The sauce is home made and there is a selection of specialty pizzas for $ 14.99.

Delicious!!! We ordered the Kahlua Pork pizza. It had the pork and pineapple. So good. The crust was perfectly crisp. We also ordered the Mello Mac. Awesome Mac n cheese with mushrooms and truffle oil. We will certainly be back for more!

I absolutely love a good pizza, whether it’s artisan, Chicago style, NY Style, brick oven, etc. But a well executed pie with fresh, high quality toppings and a superb crust is flat hard to find around here. Anytime we had a craving for good pizza we would drive to Dallas. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when we stumbled upon this joint and almost went somewhere else because it doesn’t have seating. I am so glad we didn’t! This was a pizza eating experience I had been longing for! First of all, excellent customer service! Chef Tony is a pleasure to talk to he whipped up our pie quickly. Both of our pizzas were excellent! He has done a great job of pairing perfect topping combinations with his gourmet flare. The crust was a perfect thickness for my liking, hand tossed, delicious dough. The vegetables and meat were obviously fresh and high quality. Our salad was a nice addition as well, not blow my socks off, but a great fresh salad. Looking forward to many more pizzas from Tony’s, if he was a little closer this would without a doubt be our weekly pizza night!

One of the best pizza joints in Allen and we’ve tried them all. Quite literally. And the value for what you get is also very good. One last thing — wicked chicken pizza. You will not be disappointed.

I had a groupon so I tried some other items & everything was much better. The spinach salad was very fresh, wicked chicken pizza had more flavor than my previous, Mac & cheese was bland, chicken wings were not fried & great flavor(spicy not very strong)

What to say here… Well, 1st, they get credit for having outstanding attitude and cust serv. These are good people and I probably should give them a 4th star for that. But my 3 is on food alone. I should 1st qualify myself as a very picky pizza consumer, with very strict standards, so that too pushes my rating down a bit. That said, this is Texas, more specifically, Allen, notorious in my opinion for crapy pizza that local families seem to love. Based on that, this pizza being ok(not crappy), shpuld be a gem by Allen standards. But since this is my review, here’s my personal opinion: Being from ny, my #1 pick is ny pizza, made properly in a deck oven(not conveyor belt). I also appreciate good Chicago deep dish, and italy D.O.C. approved gourmet pies. Further, I’m a purest in that I like plane cheese pizza — no real topings. So a place like this, known for fresh topings, probably isn’t going to be my ideal pick no matter what. The pizza was OK. But not great for ehat I like. It was what I consider to be texas/southern style pizza, which is sorta like ny style, but just not as good(wrong oven, crust a little thicker and slightly mire breadlike than stretchy and cgewy like real ny style). The pie was also surprisingly salty. I noticed previous reviews complaining of little flavor, so perhaps the owner read those and added more«flavor» ? I also tried the spicy chicken wings. They weren’t spicy(more sweet), but they were good and something unique and special that I would go back for. So if your trying Tonys fir the 1st time, I recommend you include the wings in your trial. But for pizza… well. Ehh. BTW — here are my pizza picks for the collin county area: Ny style: #1 Maranaras(plano). By far, #1. #2 Luigis(Frisco) #3 Eddies(plano) DOC Italy style: Cavelli(frisco/plano/McKinney boarder) Oh… there IS one worthy place actually in Allen… Grimaldis. Whole not nearly as goid as the original Brooklyn location was(before they moved a few years ago that is), they are still decent — but specifically adk them to NOT overcook the pie the way they normally do. Grimaldis is sortof a hybrid cross between ny style and gourmet italy style. Chicago style: Not crazy about any of the collin county places, but Chicago’s finest and Chicago street pizza in n. Plano are«ok». When I really want authentic Chicago deep dish by a family that used to own a Chicago based place, I trek to garland to pizza by Alex. Lots more great pizza in Dallas(like Zolis), but thats too far from allen and beyond the scope if this review.

I was really surprised to find this quality of food in our suburbs!!! So often times our choices are chain food restaurants. The pizza is out of sight!!! The homemade salad dressings are perfectly balanced! Ingredients are fresh!!! I’m completely sold! This coming from an Italian too ;)

Myself and family tried Chef Tony today. Chef Tony is a young culinary arts graduate that has opened a great little joint. We ordered wings, meatball mania, cheese bread and bacon-mac, plus the bonus side salad that comes with the specialty pizza’s. All were rock solid from conception, combinations and execution. The wings were great, garlic and light spice with a touch of sweetness. Bacon-Mac was solid, penne, bacon and spinach. With a really nice black pepper cheese or béchamel sauce. The pizza dough is spot on crisp crust snap with a tender chew. The only downside is the it’s a carry out only place so no chance of getting a beer and table service here. On the whole a great experience, we’ll be back for sure.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said? The food here is amazing. I drove«clear across town» to order from Chef Tony’s after reading all the positive reviews, and at first was a little put off from the street. But after entering and ordering, I will never have another pizza hut pizza again. Simply amazing. the cut the fresh bell pepper for my pizza right in front of me. They sliced an onion, cheese, sprinkled fresh spinach leaves, and cloved the garlic. It really doesn’t get much better than this. I’m a fan Chef, for sure.

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had! I ordered the custom pizza half chicken with the roasted garlic sauce and an order of rustic bread. I will be ordering from them again!

A hidden gem! I was there last night and even though it’s mostly a carry out place with only 3 bar tables and 6 bar stools total, I was not disappointed. The Caesar salad, wings and Kalua pork pizza were all excellent. Chef Tony served us himself and wanted to make sure we had a pleasant experience. And that we did! Thanks Tony! We’ll be back again soon!
