Blue Sky Sports Center – Allen

The facility is clean and there is ample seating to watch games. That is the most positive thing I can say. We have 4 sons, 3 of which have played indoor with their club teams at this facility over the past 2 years. Their website (to find schedules) is not great. Their staff is pretty rude (most at the desk never actually get up from their seat for anything), They often seem annoyed when you ask them a question. They have no staff walking around — to inhibit bad behavior/​influence positive and mature behavior of game observers. There are times it has been like going to an NHL game! Their league schedules are horrible– This winter, their U11 league plays ½ their games before 10am on SUNDAYS! What ever happened to Sunday being the Lord’s Day– a day for CHURCH? So disappointed in this– straw that broke the camel’s back for us. Sunday mornings should be adult games. If adults don’t want to go to church– that is their decision. Family’s paying for their kids to be on club teams and league fees, should not be forced to choose between soccer and church– SHAME ON YOU BLUE SKY!

This place has nice facilities, BUT they have horrible customer service, and treat their customers like trash. They are rude and do not care about you. All they care about is the money. I would not recommend anyone to these facilities. It is not worth your money. My advice STAY AWAY.

I enjoy small-​sided indoor soccer, but sometimes it’s fun to watch them open it up. This place provides the outdoor soccer experience with the luxury of ac. They also sell beer and it doesn’t smell like feet.

Great indoor facility, and they have Ping Pong.
They did away with the video games a few months ago.
They now server beer if your interested, however be prepared for a musty smell at times especially during the summer.
The leagues are great, and they also host adult leagues for soccer as well.

The most positive thing about this place is that it’s indoors. They are ridiculously unorganized, very unprofessional, and really don’t care about their customers unless you belong to one of the teams that have been playing here for quite some time. We won’t be joining for the next season.

This is our second year playing in a league at this place. We should have learned our lessons the first year. They are so unbelievably unorganized that it has reached a comical point. The never seem to have the right number of jerseys, the right number of players, schedules are often messed up and so on…
After the league started we also found out they don’t have enough teams to actually make it different each week. We’re playing the same 2 teams (yeah … three teams total) over and over — and they also happen to be teams that have played for years together and play competitively outside of this league. Our team of little ones who are mostly newcomers gets consistently creamed to the point that the kids aren’t having any fun. I know, practice will get them there at some point, but it would have been nice to have things a bit more evenly distributed in regards to skill levels.
They also charge an extra $ 15 per player now to get some membership card above and beyond what they charge to play in the league. This fee is not mentioned when you sign up.
In short, the indoor option is nice, but just not worth the hassle. This is the last time we deal with them and would recommend others avoid too. ASA is much better all around.

All 3 of our kids (girls & boy) have played indoor soccer here. The facility is nice and there are great areas to watch your kids play (or adults play!). They have a full concession stand and a place for the toddlers to play.
Blue Sky also offers soccer clinics for the kids — by Kevin Fleming. Our kids have been in Kevin’s soccer clinic a few times and learn a lot through him. He’s very patient with the kids — and the clinics are offered every week (not holidays) for a very reasonable price.
I do highly recommend Blue Sky and will continue to enroll my kids in indoor soccer, to supplement their outdoor seasons.

Poor customer service is standard here. Unprofessional management. Schedule changes in the middle of league seasons with no notice to parents or coaches. Skills training w/​1 coach that is suppose to max out at 12 kids but as many as have money are allowed in. (19 kids one night!). Now beer sales have been added… a great addition to a youth sports facility. The list goes on and on.

Very disappointed. We registered my son earlier this month to play soccer with his friends from his preschool class for the very first time. After he named the team at registration, went out and bought all of his gear, and was so excited about playing in a couple of weeks we find out today that they will not let him play with his friends because his turns three tomorrow which is two weeks before the first game. Cody, the Operations Manager and Jane the President and COO were not the least bit helpful or sympathetic saying «rules are rules.» Maybe they should teach their staff the rules so they won’t give the parents the wrong information and save me the hassle of scrambling to find a new program at the last minute and my son’s heart break of not being able to play with his friends because of a two week time period that I should be made aware of when I registered. Also not comfortable with my son playing with experienced older 3 and 4 year olds. Definitely would not recommend. Horrible customer service.
