Came here for a to go cupcake since I had a craving and wanted something chocolate. The cupcakes are big! I got the chocolate coconut one, although the girl told me it was a coconut cake with chocolate and coconut topping. I didn’t taste any coconut, just a white cake but the icing was super silky and delicious. I gobbled it up. Inside is perfect if you want to sit and enjoy eating in. It smelled like sugar the minute you opened the door. The whole place is painted pink, so if you aren’t into that, you may not go for it! However, they have menus and other items if you aren’t into cupcakes. Overall, delicious and I would definitely try their other flavors!

$ 4 for a scoop of icing. That’s what I feel like I paid for. They didn’t have half of the flavors they advertised online available. I have a question for the owners of these new up and coming little cupcake boutiques: Where is the cupcake? Is it under that colossal mountain of sugar you call the icing? Because the cupcake to icing ratio is freaking ridiculous. I’m not picking on just this place either, it’s like a new trend in the cupcake community. The much touted«Cupcake ATM» was the same way. Yes, your cupcake looks very pretty, good for you. But when it comes to food it can’t just LOOK good, it’s got to taste ok too. I ended up scraping off every last bit of icing that I could get off of the cupcake and tried to eat the bread underneath, which fell into dust crumbles that would not stay on my fork. Take ¾ of the icing away and double the size of your cupcakes because they are terrible!

I was very underwhelmed by their cupcake selection. The choices were very simple and nothing out of the box. When I stopped in they had red velvet, strawberry, chocolate and a Reese’s peanut cupcake, etc. They had one called Birthday Bliss, I asked the lady behind the counter what flavor cake was below the chocolate frosting it had(it was hard to see). It was vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. Plain!

Delicious. Never had a bad cupcake from here. Always my go to for friends and family’s birthdays. Red velvet is always a favorite!

Went by to reward the little ones for eating all their dinner since it’s not something they do very often. Mondays are Buy One Get One Free so everyone should be taking advantage of that like we did today. I ended up getting the Pecan Chocolate which I was supposed to have tomorrow morning with my coffee but I couldn’t wait which is weird since I’m not a cupcake guy. Man this thing was really good! Oof, I can see myself going there on a regular basis.

I ordered custom cake pops for the BF’s students. I wanted to order 120 and I called just a week and half before I needed them and thank goodness they fit me in! Though they advised me it’s better to put in custom orders 2 – 3 weeks in advance just to be safe. They required either half of the full amount or full payment to start. I decided to do the full payment to get it out of the way. I requested an 1130 am pick up and they were ready as soon as I got there. I appreciate that they were all individually wrapped and she even gave me some extra ones! Though the extra ones looked more like the«rejects» I was appreciative she didn’t just throw those away. She even helped me put them in the car as well! BF’s students loved the cake pops so I’ll definetely order again in the future.

Been going here for 4 years now once a week. The cupcakes are about 1.5x /2x larger then most other bakery’s. Haven’t found another bakery that beats Bliss in both size and taste.

I am super fussy about cupcakes, my favorite dessert, why waste the calories on a disappointment, right? Bliss is by far the best in N. TX, and Im so happy its right in my backyard! Favorites are the lemon(tues, fri) and chocolate cream cheese. Perfect amt of frosting on these lg cupcakes – it doesn’t overwhelm the cake. Need to know calorie counts though, please!!!

Tip: Monday from 4−7pm is happy hour. HALFOFF their regularly priced 3.99 cupcakes(they are slightly larger than a reg sized cupcake). This place is cute. They have a cozy little space for sitting to feast on your cupcake with a friend. But, I could see where you wouldn’t want to gossip in such a space or your dirt would surely be overheard. No biggie though. I told the young lady who helped me that I was a first timer so excuse the extended contemplative period. She was kind and went over what they had to offer. I asked what was popular and she clued me in on the flavors, level of sweetness, etc. The cupcakes are slightly larger than a regular sized cupcake but not by too much. They also serve cake pops that are pretty big and parfaits with layered custard and cake. I chose a red velvet, a pecan pie, and a vanilla cupcake. All of these were really good. My favorite was the pecan pie cupcake for sure. Some cakes have a flavor to them — I can’t describe it, but think Sprinkles… sprinkles has a flavor. One of my mother in-laws bakes cakes that have a distinct flavor to it… almost like a signature or a chain flavor. Well, anyway, Bliss doesn’t have that… it was just cake. I like. I plan to go back and try other flavors, and have the vanilla and pecan pie again. This place is a great way to wrap up dinner in the shoppes or to pop in for a treat after shopping.

Love these cupcakes! Strawberry and lemon drop were my favorites until I recently had the Snickerdoodle cupcake! Their cupcakes are always moist and fresh. I love sweets and have tried a lot of the local cupcake spots. Bliss is by far my favorite!
