First, let me say that I, think Roy is a very nice guy. However, I have never had a haircut, in my adult life, that I find embarrassing. I have worn a hat every time I have left the house. He completely ignored my telling him I wear a side part, and now my hair, which I told him needed only about 1 inch removed, is too short to hold a proper part. I’ve had haircuts which were not satisfactory, but this one makes me hate what I see in the mirror, and I can’t even go to another barber to get it fixed. As a first timer, this experience has solidified that I won’t be going back. Sorry, Roy.

Really nice guy. Very attentive to detail, even uses the old straight razor like the good. Olé days. clean pleasant shop. One man shop that works for you. Trimmed nose hair and eyebrows without asking.

i just moved to Texas and needed to find a good barber. I lucked out when I found Allen Barber Shop. This is a real barber shop with old fashioned service. This isn’t some blow and go hair stylist. Here you get a good haircut at a good price with a straight razor finish, eyebrow trim, and a friendly owner/barber. Nice big screen TV, clean shop with two chairs. I will definitely be getting my haircuts here.
