Love the selection. I can’t wait to figure out how everything works there. Those wine machines look scary. :)

Julie the owner called me. She really does go out of her way to make her customers happy and to fix things. I’m so happy she did because my family and I love her store and would hate to stop going. Thank you again, Julie! :)

I used to like this place. The tall guy who makes the sandwiches is VERYRUDE. He messed up both mine and my husbands sandwiches. which is ok, mistakes happen. What is not ok is to give us both an attitude and call my husband a liar. We called them in over the phone and he asked for a turkey and ham club and when we brought them in to be fixed, he said the club doesn’t come with ham. We used to come here at least once a week for sandwiches. Because of the attitude we got from the tall guy, we will never return. *EDIT*-since one of the sandwiches was for my mom, she went ahead and called about hers being horrible. The person who answered the phone covered the phone thinking my mom couldn’t hear, but she did. My mom heard the employee talk badly about me and my husband and then my mom heard the guy say he would pretend to be the manager! Unbelievable!!! He was extremely rude to my mom. A small mistake could have been handled so much better by being a decent person instead of calling us liars.

How luck did I feel when I realized this place is right down the street from the new job I started. If you work at Tech Space or the surrounding area, do yourself a favor and stop in. This place has a great selection and just as great prices. And trust me. I shop for wine. A lot. I’m a certified sommelier and I they have several of my favorite labels here. My only criticism was that I bought several things from the meat/cheese case and none of them were marked with price tags. This held up my check out as well as holding those up behind me. And of course I wanted to know prices before committing to buy. In the end, all the prices on their food selection were very reasonable too. But speeding up the checkout for all parties is as easy as spending 5 minutes with a pricing gun. So, I’m hoping the next time I stop in, they will have cleared that up. Because I will be stopping in again. Probably weekly. Don’t judge.

1. Food: I always come here for their breakfast burritos(eggs, cheese, potatoes), add 1.5 for Avocado and meats. Under $ 6 for a good burrito with their green sauce. 2. Décor: It’s very odd, they sell deli food and wine, and random knickknacks. But it works for me since its down the street from work and they have a great deli selection. 3. Price: The food price is average. I cannot speak for the wine or other items. 4. Service: Call in your order! Sometimes they are short handed where they’ve made me wait up to 5 min to take a order, so they really need to work on that or create an app.

Hope Julie reads this, because you just lost a customer. I’ve lived here in AV for 16 years and love supporting our local businesses. I’ve come to OC Wine Mart & Deli many times and it’s been decent enough to not write them off yet, despite the expensive sandwiches. I understand the cost of doing business and having to make a profit but after you read this, any person with any business acumen will realize they are being penny wise POUND foolish. Not to mention being all about the money and not the customer. The breakfast burritos here are ok, not great, and a bar below good. They are plentiful, because it’s stuffed with potatoes. But also expensive at $ 18.34 for two, with avocado added and choice of bacon for $ 1.50 extra for each. That’s $ 9.17 for each burrito. I asked for an extra side of pico de gallo and the lady told me it’s an extra $ 1. Really?! So much for customer appreciation. That’s how you lose customers. I won’t be coming back and I would rather drive to Costa Mesa and get a REAL breakfast burrito at El Chinoco if I’m going to be spending $ 20 on a couple of breakfast burritos. What a let down. This place is ALLABOUT making money and can careless about repeat customers. If you think shorting your clients and cutting corners is going to save you money then imagine when they don’t return, how that will impact your business. Pretty bummed.

Love OC Wine Mart! Great selection of wine and craft beers by the bottle! Came here tonight for their wine tasting event from Groth Vineyards. delicious tasting options and great value for such a high end winery. They even had their $ 99/bottle Reserve Cabernet out for tasting. The atmosphere is wonderful. Thursday night has live music and a very fun atmosphere. Food is delicious as well! A great place to visit if you want to hang out or just to buy from a nice selection of wine & beer. Can’t wait to come back and try their famous breakfast burritos!

Customer service is mediocre. It feels like an expensive liquor store rather than a destination to relax and be treated well. Case in point: this place took over for a liquor store that made great breakfast burritos for $ 4.00. Now they sell breakfast burritos, for $ 7.50, but refuse to put the salsa inside when asked. They admit they are made per order but the reason they won’t put the salsa in the DRY burrito is because they keep the salsa up front and not by table where they make Them. It’s like 10ft away. Just seems lazy. They have a great selection of beer and wine and spirits. They have some beers on tap but you can’t get a full beer only like 4oz pours. Overall experience… meh

The breakfast burritos themselves are the best things there. Filled with scrumptious bits of bacon, eggs, crispy hash brown, and salsa(optional) these delightful burritos will ensure a great experience. Occasionally there is live music displayed, which is enjoyable while sipping a glass of wine in the bar. The sandwiches are supreme, and a wide selection of wine is displayed. A comfy atmosphere that allows you to enjoy your meal. The f’reals are highly recommended! I would definitely come back.

**EDITED** Manager contacted me regarding the bad service. I respect that greatly. I have been back, and the food is great! I was really upset about having to boycott this place. I love going here on my lunch break! After attempting to call in an order 3 times the clerk who works at this place was unable to take my order. The first time I called their phone wasn’t working so all I got was a, «hello… Hello… Hello…» Then they hung up. I called back from a landline and reached a male clerk who was very unhelpful and tried to rush me. In the middle of my ordering a sandwich and asking what I would like on he he interrupts me asking for my name. Then I tell him, «you ask me what I wanted now you’re interrupting me asking for my name?! I then tell him my name and try to order again from the beginning. As I start again he says, «yeah yeah yeah, I got that part(again trying to rush me).» The clerk was rude at this point; almost like I was wasting his time. I refused to continue trying to place an order with this place. There are many other places in town to get sandwiches so that’s simply what I’ll do going forward. This place need to get their customer service in order or I won’t go here again. The male clerk/delicatessen needs to drop his attitude and learn how to take an order. Ps to the owner: the call took place at 12:00pm on 3÷25÷16.

I was so excited when I heard OC Wine Mart was moving to Aliso Viejo! They have a great beer selection, great deals on wine tastings, and yummy food! If you are looking for a good breakfast burrito I highly recommend their BTS burrito! The staff here is very friendly and helpful!

This is the best place to go to taste wine, have fun and listen to music. It’s very casual and the staff are very kind and friendly. It’s my go to place for a meat and great cheese platter and an assortment of wines. You buy a card and put the chip into a buffet concept of wine. It is so much fun. You can’t go wrong.

We have been here a few times for wine tasting. The price is quite expensive for what you get. Each tasting pour is about 2 sips, and it costs between $ 2 to $ 10+ per pour depends on how fancy you want to be. If you want a full glass, it’ll cost around $ 20. Plus you are sitting in a liquor store so not exactly wine bar vibe. To spend that kind of money, we rather just go to a wine bar. Food is mediocre, and it takes a very long time to be served. Service is friendly. The lady at the register was nice and helpful. Interesting concept, but just too expensive.

This place is one of my favorite drinking spots in Orange County. If you love wine tasting, this place is a must see. Being able to pick your own tastings from their great selection provides an ease to the whole experience. They also have an amazing craft beer selection. We also get a cheese plate every time we come, which is plenty filling for us, but the rest of their food selections are delicious. Peak times are Friday and Saturday evenings, but besides that this place is pretty mellow and you are always able to find a seat. They have fun tastings on saturday nights also where they feature a specific winery. This is fun OC adult night out, wine lover or not.

One of my bookmarks. I’ve heard many great things about this place and I finally got a chance to try it. Came in on a Friday night, not many tables so good luck. Cool thing was they had live entertainment, bad thing is the guy was really trying and no one was listening but me and another man. Hey, he was playing some good traditional Latin music. So this place is a sandwich joint with wine tasting. It’s actually pretty cool. The prices are about $ 10-$ 16. They serve Boars head which is my fav. Well I decided to order the«hot food» which was the flatbread with hot cappicola. Honestly, I’ve had better. It was super greasy, almost like they poured oil on it after it came out of the oven. Wak!!! The dough was okay and it came with cappicola(of course) basil, tomatoes and cheese. I really think it could have been better. My daughter ordered the same pizza but with bacon instead, she wasn’t a fan of it. She only ate the bacon. My mom and sis shared the pastrami sandwich and the caprese salad, I wish I would have done that instead. Other than super greasy flatbed, there’s a bunch of wine tastings, you just need to buy a. Add and load money on it. Oh and for the beer lovers, they have many craft beers in the bottle and they have beer«tasters» that are only abut $ 5 for a full cup. Nice!

At first at did not want to come in because this place took over the old liquor store that use to be here and they sold bomb breakfast burritos. But after checking it out, this place is pretty clean and they have a vast selection on food items. It’s makes it easy and convenient for on the go. I don’t drink, but if you were interested in a wide selection of wine, this is the spot. They also have a wine tasting bar for $ 10. All in all, it’s a place you have to check out on your own. The people here are friendly as well.

This cute shop tucked away in a little shopping plaza, reveals a HUGE wine and beer selection! BOOM! I mean, there was every kind of wine imaginable from everyday table wines to finer special occasion selections. We will definitely be stopping here more often! Also, their deli offers a great selection of menu items. We were dashing out so we ordered breakfast burritos that were absolutely AWESOME! Hands down delicious and huge! In fact, I ate half and then saved the 2nd half for lunch. To top it off, the crew here are great, we found them to be very helpful and efficient.

So excited that OC Wine Mart & Tasting Bar is now open in Aliso Viejo. I can now partake in Julie L’s great offerings from a location much closer to home. This location is wonderfully spacious housing a greatl retail shop with wine, beer, and spirits, a terrific deli featuring Boar’s Head products and enomatic wine tasting bar. All you have to do to wine taste is purchase a wine card in the store and you can start sampling via self-serve wine pouring machines. A non-intimating, casual way to sample some spectacular wines. There is a red pouring machine in the center. There are machines with chilled wines for tasting also. We have enjoyed the sandwiches and cheese plates available in the deli. The roast beef sandwich is very tasty. We also ordered the Italian Hoagie and thought that was delicious, also. You can really taste the quality of the meat and cheeses. The store has a vast retail space with refrigerated area with many different beers. There is a very wide selection of great wines. There are spirits and liquor for sale, too. We also enjoyed sampling what the F’Real Shake Machine had to offer. You choose your flavor of ice cream and choose what consistency you want your shake to be and put in the mixing area to the. We chose cake batter flavor. It was yummy! OC Wine Mart &Tasting Bar is a great hidden gem in Aliso Viejo to grab a great deli sandwich, sample some delicious wine or pick up some great beer, wine or spirits. Julie and her terrific staff are friendly and very helpful. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The seemingly serial entrepreneur and hostess extraordinaire Julie L. makes the grade once again with her third location of OC Wine Mart & Tasting Bar. I am still devastated by the sudden closing of Irvine’s OCWM and each time I go to my local BevMo, I long for Julie’s mother’s smile and friendly service. Irvine’s tragic loss seems to be Aliso Viejo’s monumental gain, however. The classy/upscale interior, first rate service and wonderful selection all made the move safely down south plus the new digs effectively doubled the retail and tasting area space. It was only a matter of time before my first visit and Dan H. made sure that came sooner rather than later as a small cadre of loyal OCWM patrons made the pilgrimage to South County last weekend. The selection of fine wines, spirits and craft brews is even larger than the Irvine location and with 45 varieties of wine available at any given time in the gorgeous new self service tasting area, one would be forgiven for sitting back and sampling wines with the available Charcuterie plates all afternoon. Other amenities include a deli counter offering sandwiches featuring Boar’s Head meats, all new flatbreads, and even a wonderful Caprese Salad boasting farm fresh heirloom tomatoes. I almost forgot the automated Ice Cream station, something I have never seen before. I can think of a Unilocaler or two that would do some serious financial damage and self ownage with that machine. So, what do you get when you add chic and opulent environs with a small locally owned business plus world class service in the heart of South County OC? A five star review and the longing for Julie’s return to Irvine someday.

OC Wine Mart & Tasting Bar is open in Aliso Viejo! I was really excited when I found out that Julie L. and Co. was opening a location down the street from me. It is about a mile away which can be very dangerous. I attended the soft open yesterday which was their first day of business and bought a bottle of of Truffle Merlot one of my favorite wines. She did tell me that the wine is being discontinued so buy up if you really love it. The new space is large and reminds me a little of the space in Yorba Linda. I was disappointed when they had to close the Irvine location but this one is way closer to me. There will be up to 40 wines to taste and a few craft beers as well offered at the tasting bar. They are planning on opening a deli in a few weeks. I’m excited that they will be offering breakfast items as well! Currently only the retail floor is open but that will change in the next few weeks. Come by, say hi, peruse the wine selection, and make a purchase.
