I’m not sure if it was the crappy food we were given at the conference, or the fact that I was starving because of the crappy food at the conference, but either way Breezy’s seemed like the best pizza I have had in years. Seriously, it is just simple pick a slice and heat pizza, but everything seemed fresh, quick, and tasty.

For the most part, I’m a thin-crust pizza guy. There are very few places(in fact, there’s only one place) I will go for thick-crust pizza… this place is truly special. You see, most thick-crust tends to get quite soggy, and the only thing you seem to taste is mushy bread. I don’t know how they do it here, but they manage to retain all the crispiness of a thin pizza without turning the crust into a pumice cleaning stone. The sauce is a simple, sweet pizza sauce, and the amount of cheese is just right. Simple, classic Sicilian-style pizza is what you are going to get here, just like Nonna used to make, except these guys won’t be saying, «You need to eat some more. You’re starting to look too skinny… I’ll make you another dinner.»

My favorite square pizza in Quip, and probably all of the Pittsburgh area. Awesome crust, high quality cheese, simple and perfect. I’ve been eating Breezy’s since I was a kid(over 30 years) and I’ve maybe had bad pizza here once. It’s ALWAYS on point, and never lets you down. Cash only, but they do have an atm and there are literally four banks all within a one block radius.

Born and raised in Quip. If you are ever in Aliquippa make sure you get Breezy’s Pizza!!! The only pizza I’ll buy when I’m home!

Great pizza, fresh ingredients, reasonable price, and friendly service. Couldn’t ask for much more, except maybe a place to sit?

I guess the previous reviewer read a 101 Jokes About Pittsburgh book? I’m still trying to make sense of all that mess. But this pizza was a staple of my youth, and being in business since 1969 is an accomplishment NOT to be scoffed at. There’s four chains within a ¼ mile radius of here, and none of them can hold a candle to Breezy’s. There’s only two pizzas in PA I hold on higher regard. This is the best, and at a $ 1 a slice… anytime I’m back in the ‘Burg, I’m here.

A Pizza shop named after Lynryd Skynyrd’s «Call Me the Breeze» HAS to kick some ass. Git aht yer Van Zant shirt n’at. Breezy’s will not disappoint. Breezy’s claim to fame is their Sicilian pizza… thick doughy crust, crispy at the edges. A bright red sweet tomato sauce and gooey cheese. Don’t waste you time with toppings, you’ll just be gilding the lily. Perfect accompaniment to a demo derby after party, doobie induced munchies or a Bevis and Butthead marathon. And, give it up to standing up for the proletariat… when Little Ceasars opened up a shop directly in front of Breezy’s, the owners posted a huge banner reading, «Just Say NO to Chain Pizza». Rawk aht, dude.
