Poor service. Their operation is really bad. Wait more than 20mins for drinks and half an hour for food. The shop is not busy at all. Will never come back this tea station anymore. NOT Recommended to anyone. Beaware the time you waste here

I like their tea it tastes authentic though it’s on the pricey side, worth it. I had the osmanthus oolong and it was bitter strong. Something my parents would probably enjoy because it’s super herbie and bitter dry.

We had a family reunion dinner at the restaurant nearby with 27 people. The natural progression was to end the evening with some dessert so we headed to Tea Station so that we could spend some more time together. The dining area was very large and there were a couple of other occupied tables with 2 people each towards the front. We made our way to the back where there were larger tables together. Since it was counter style, we each made our way individually to place orders. There were various signs around the register advertising specials so we tried to order those. They were out of almost everything that was advertised. No biggie, we just needed to rethink our order. The lady who I presume to be the owner got annoyed with the questions. When it came time to order, I asked for just a simple«Pearl Milk Tea». She pretended like she had no idea what I was talking about. She seemed annoyed that I wasn’t ordering in Mandarin like the other patrons. So I pointed at the menu to let her know and she was just overall really rude. Our group was slowly ordering one by one when my family told me that they asked us to leave. I was shocked and asked why. They had asked if all of us were ordering and only half of us planned to have dessert(that’s 13 orders!) so they said we had to leave if not all of us were ordering. Our orders weren’t even completely made before they asked us to go. The majority of our party was senior citizens and we even had a newborn baby. They kicked us out onto the street! The place wasn’t even busy! Please don’t support this business and their awful attitude towards their customers.

I normally don’t like the food at tea places. But I’m surprised that the food at Tea Station is actually something I would come back for to eat as a meal on its own(and be happy with). Get the number 6 noodles! It’s the beef stew with green tea noodles. I didn’t taste much of the green tea flavor, but I’ll overlook that because the super tender beef hits the spot so well. Wash it down with some milk tea and life is good.

I don’t understand how Unilocal reviews this place to be a «$» when I spent $ 5.75(not even including tax yet) on a large honey green tea. I’m giving tea station a 4⁄5 because I’ve been coming here religiously ever since high school. Their teas are really scented and distinctive. My friend relates their teas to perfume LOL! I recommend the rose milk tea with boba, honey green milk tea and honey green tea. All drinks using honey contains real honey and not syrups. To those who don’t like overly sugar drinks, I do suggest adjusting the sugar content. Their boba milk tea small is only 3.75. The food is great too. Just a bit pricey QQ. Like the pan fried ramen w/egg and ham is around 6 dollars… Y tho All foods are brewed and tinted with their tea flavor. Unfortunately, I rate their service a 3⁄5. This young lady with light brown hair who handled cashier didn’t smile at all and handed my bill without even saying anything. I put the tips into the tips jar and she clearly saw and she didn’t smile or say thank you. You still da bomb tho tea station :)

Good when you need to chill during late night. Servers are quick and attentive. I usually get the mix fruit hot tea, can’t go wrong with that ever. Today I decided to get the taro soup dessert tea. I must say it’s another go to choice. Not to heavy and will curb any sweets cravings. I just wish they added more red bean and taro.

Came here multiple times and I can’t stand their bad service and how overpriced their food and drinks are. When I go I order their noodles with minced pork, corn, and cucumbers. Not only are the proportions are completely off, but the meat is very salty. Today I went to get tea for 20% bedside of their 20th anniversary. When I went the lady, most likely the manager, was extremely rude and completely lied to me and my mom’s faces. I asked her for a large milk green with less ice, but before paying I asked of it was still 20% off and she said yes so I paid. After paying i saw that it was $ 10 and no discount was taken. She didn’t apologize, laughed and said it’s only a few cents difference. That’s only togo service. Sitting down to eat is just as terrible with service. The waitresses are constantly touching their faces and hair and then serving food without washing their hands. Disappointed and upset. If i could I’d give them a .25 a star because that’s just how bad they are.

I LOVELOVELOVE the honey milk green tea with ½ sugar plus grass jelly! just typing it makes me crave it!!! this review is really just for this drink :) the staff here are friendly enough. the location is great for getting boba while waiting for a table at kosuke! my only complain is that it about 5 $ a pop which I’m still willing to pay but it seems a lil steep, just me? inflation? either way, they get me every time I go to kosuke or drive past a location else where.

Fantastic milk tea drinks. The boba is nice and fresh. You’re best to getting it without sweetener. Especially if you’re getting an almond milk tea. Too much sweetener and you can’t taste the almond. This place is a great place to hang and chat. And the staff is incredibly friendly.

Large Rose Milk Green Tea(always wanted to taste the Rose Milk flavor) with aloe vera(yellow-color, but wanna give it a try) and lychee jelly(my favorite add-on) is what I order, while Drew order her usual regular Jasmine/Thai Green Tea with lychee jelly 50% sugar. We were in a rush as we left after we got our drink, but felt like it was too sweet, and I think they forgot to note my sister’s drink for 50% sugar… We had a free drink ticket for we have collected 10 drink’s stamps total from Tea Station, but they only gave us 2.99 $ discount instead of the normal free drink(maybe should have done it separately) for we paid a little over 8 $ total altogether. Well, the server was really nice though; she gave us a to go cups holder which we declined since it was needed for us. Cigs from outside dining(seems to be allow?) with the front door being open; really don’t like the smell and that ruined my experience as I walk in(had to hold my breath) and while waiting for my drink… Overall, Tea Station have always been a «hit or miss» on our drinks… Haven’t found one location that I would only stick to yet.

We were waiting for to go dim sum items from Lunasia so I went into this one to get a hot tea for my friend but was shocked with $ 5 for the small black tea. This one is more expensive than any tea house including Starbucks. I felt like Donald Trump drinking that cup of tea. Poor customer service till I mentioned some connection with neighboring grocery stores. I won’t go back to visit that station. That manager’s attitude wasn’t professional.

It’s a go to spot for me. I do like their teas and a few of their dishes. Just a hair more expensive than some of the other boba tea places, but overall higher quality taste. Depending on your taste preference you can ask for ¾ sugar, ½ sugar, ¼ etc. I like the people that work here, but just a note. when you are eating inside it’s relatively easy enough to wave somebody down, but if you sit outside, service can be a little slow because they don’t come outside to check on you. Not a huge problem for me, but just a note.

The Service: Attentive and efficient. You can dine in or order to go at the counter. Chain stores. The Food: Many traditional Taiwanese dishes. Lots of drinks(with boba) varieties. However, food portion is a little bit small. Wish they give more rice. Fried wonton is so so, with more crispy outside. The Parking: Street parking or parking structure behind the restaurant.(free)

Popped in after dim sum for dessert. Very disappointing. I said I wanted a grass jelly dessert with only ice and coconut milk, half sweetened. Normally, they put red beans n Ice cream to top, Taiwanese style. I guess I just wanted mine simple Viet style. The owner looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I was sure that’s how I wanted it. Uh… YESSS. She was annoyed, grudgingly obliged. My friend ordered a milk tea with boba but it came out without boba. My grass jelly drink came out with a hint of grass jelly at the bottom and a lot of shaved ice and no discernible coconut milk. I asked for more coconut milk please, it’s dry as shit, what’s the giant straw for? Anyway, they«fixed» it n brought it back to me looking the exact same. I took one sip and the coconut milk, what little of it that’s stuck to the ice, tasted odd. Tasted like lychee or something weird. Nuh uhh. I told them I don’t want it fixed anymore, I wanted another drink, just a milk tea that they can’t mess up. They replaced my drink but cut me a defensive attitude like SEEEEE, you shoulda gotten it Taiwanese style. I said Taiwanese or not, the coconut milk tasted really strange. Quality control, please. What a stupid experience, almost ruined my day.

I’m loyal to this place because 1) they used to serve the best peppermint milk green tea(discontinued) and 2) I have a very loaded giftcard here which I only use now when I have family is in town. I always feel like it takes FOREVER for my drink to be made. No matter when and where I go. I don’t even frequent this place anymore because the drinks are expensive and I can get the same item elsewhere that’s better. Even when I ask for the drinks at half or low sugar, it is exceptionally sweet. I also don’t like that the passionfruit slush includes seed bits. It’s like drinking tiny pebbles with my melted slush!

My friends and I were at Kosuke on the next block over and came here after dinner so that we could continue to catch up. Parking is in the structure connected to Tea Station. There is also a door from the structure that leads into the establishment but if you cannot find it, you can also go around to the front and enter Tea Station that way. This location is not that big but there are a fair amount of tables, so one can usually find a place to sit. Service was virtually nonexistent unless you were able to flag someone down. The restroom is a unisex restroom and it reminds you of the streets of Downtown LA. The smell is so pungent that I was confused as to why or how it could smell like DTLA. I’m worried about the workers who work there and what their cleanliness is when they prepare the drinks. We ordered: Mixed Fruit Tea(Hot) Japanese Ma-Cha Coffee I was tempted to order coffee as I was so tired but I wasn’t sure how their coffee is made. My friend did end up ordering the Japanese Ma-Cha Coffee with little whipped cream. I saw the barista making the drink, and noticed that it was pour over, which is a good sign. I had a sip of the coffee, not bad. Not overly sweet, even though the whipped cream was still piled on. We were scared to think how much would be a «full» whipped cream topping. Normal Tea Station fine print is also that everyone in your party needs to order something or there will be a charge. Drinks are okay, but I tend to order drinks that are less than half the sugar because they are very sweet.

Hello my Unilocalies, I’ve been to Tea Station many times during the past few years. Parking at this location is very convenient they have a parking lot right in between 5th and 6th street. It can get very pack during night time or the weekends, but it’s definitely more convenient than many other locations. They also have a back door so you don’t have to go to the front to go in. This place has pretty authentic Taiwanese food, I’m Taiwanese so this definitely brings me back home. I usually order their noodle soup and substitute their glass noodle to their green tea noodle! I love their green tea noodle so much, it definitely add more of a taste and color to your soup. Their ground pork with rice is very delicious too, if you don’t like too much fat in your meat than this is probably not the rice choice for you. I love how their rice dishes comes with 3 small dishes and a soup, their food and drinks can be a little expensive but I personally think it’s pretty worth it. I don’t usually get their drinks but I do get their desserts. My favorite is their taro soup with red bean and taro balls, and you must add their boba noodles! Ever since I discovered that they have boba noodles I always have to get that. It has the best texture, it is much better than the regular boba. On a hot day, I come here and order heir shaved ice. They have many different toppings for you to choose from, they also have very delicious syrup inside the ice so it’s not too sweet. I definitely suggest getting that if you sometimes have a sweet tooth for shaved ice like me. Their service is great, sometimes it can be a little difficult to get their attention when you sit on the outside but it never take them longer than 1 – 2 minutes to come to you. I love how everyone has a big smile on their face. They also have a gift cards choice, you can put in $ 100, $ 200, $ 300 and they will give you a small give and a free meal when you purchased. Best thing about this card is that there’s no expiration date and you can use it at any Tea Station.(That’s if you come here quite often like myself) Overall, 5 stars for service, 4 stars for food, 4 stars for environment and decoration and 5 stars for cleanliness. I’ll come back again since it is very convenient for me.

My brother can’t stand this place because even their half sweet is diabetes inducing, but since i’m a sugar fiend i don’t mind it that much. I will say that you don’t taste as much of the flavor of the tea when it’s that sweet — so that’s not always great. I had the peach green tea. Not the best peach tea I’ve had, but it wasn’t bad. Overall this place is clean and conveniently located, but I don’t know how often I’d go back. Stay Cheerful ;)

Lunch on Wednesday, 8÷26÷15 Parking lot is located in the back but it’s kind of small. There’s street parking as an alternative. From all the times I’ve visited, there has not been a wait. Servers are usually quick to take your order but throughout your meal, they rarely come back. I’ve tried a few dishes and they were all alright. I’ve had the teriyaki chicken, minced pork, pork with veggies, and the beef stew. Nothing really special but I enjoy the set lunches that come with either a green tea or black tea for $ 1 charge. I would definitely recommend the tea drinks though. The fruit tea is still my favorite although I also enjoy the green milk tea with boba.

Love their tea but gee are they expensive. Quality of the tea is great though I have to say. I guess you get what you pay for. At times for the price, I probably could get some organic ones at Urth Café instead. Difference is, they don’t have boba and Asian tea’s there. So I guess you have to beat the bad with the good. I usually come here if I am hanging out with old friends to chit chat for hours. If you come during lunch hours, they have a special where if you order a meal/entrée you can get a black or green tea for $ 1. If you want other drinks, its ½ off. So not too bad. Still expensive regardless. Although i figure, if I am sitting there for hours chatting with friends, I guess I’m paying for occupying the table so long(if you want to make yourself feel better). Food isn’t too bad. Their appetizers are great. The food is good but not the greatest. Remember they are known for drinks not their food. So don’t expect the best food ever. Service: Has its ups and downs. Some days are good and some days I feel as I’m totally invisible. Most servers are nice but 1 – 2 are a grouch as if they cant stand the job and want to go home. Generally, they are nice just hard to get service when its hella busy. Ambiance: It’s ok. very bright. Wished it was dimmer and for relaxing feel. More so I wish the other tables aren’t so close to each other or close to me. I hate chatting and feeling as if the other table can hear everything. Put it this way, if I can hear the whole conversation of the table next to me(and mind you they weren’t super loud either) and feel as if I can probably be part of their table… there is a problem.(minus 1-star) Parking is horrific especially on prime time! As many Asian plaza’s, there are lots of stores with minimal parking space where everyone is fighting for like back in college asking you as you walk«Are you leaving?»(minus 1-star)
