My Mom was here recently. The staff took amazing care of her. Alan the head Nurse was one of the best health care professionals that I have ever seen. My mom was in the medical field for 46 years so I’ve been around medical people for a long time. The place was always very clean with an old school 70’s feel. My mom was very scared to go the first time but they made her feel right at home. The second time she had to go back she was actually excited! She said that her friends missed her! Well done to Alan and your entire staff!

This review is sooo late. My mom was 83 when she had to undergo a major lower back surgery (specifically lower lumbar fusion). Her surgery was successful and the very nice social worker assigned to my mom provided me with 3 brochures of rehabilitation centers where my mom could continue to recover and also get physical therapy. When she handed me the brochure she said they are stacked in the order in which she believes is the ranking. This was the one that was on the top and it was the first location I went to. This location is very clean and secure. The location has a reception area and you have to sign in and be buzzed into the facility. I loved this feature. The staff are very kind and gentle with each of the residents (there are some permanent residents) and patients. The owner has his own mother living at this facility, so I believe this helps to keep the standards of cleanliness, kindness and security very high. The physical therapists that worked with my mom at that time were GREAT! I can’t say anything bad about any of them. My mom speaks broken English, but each of them would be able to encourage my mom to do her physical therapy. This is no small feat! The staff are very attentive, the nursing staff respond quickly when a patient rings for assistance. The nursing staff always gave my mom great attention and ensured she kept her dignity during times when a person is truly humbled. To my knowledge this location has very few availability for incoming patients, and it is understandable. I totally suggest trying to see if you can get on a waiting list if you have a loved one who will need rehabilitation and assistance during their recovery.

Wonderful things happened here at Sunny view Care Center.

All the nurses were very kind and went out of their way for my grandmother. What a change in the nursing staff since last year. The moment you enter the doors you feel welcome. I was grateful to see the big change. Keep up the good work.

Since theere has been a new change of owner and staff, everything has gone downhill. The place looks the same, but the service isn’t that good anymore. My mother has lost most of her pants there and got an infection right when the staff was changed. The good people were let go and bad ones stayed. To have a relative stay there and be taken care of, you or someone should be around to keep an eye out on their work.
