Got the turkey panini here and was disappointed. I expected the sandwich to be grilled, but they only grill the bread here — then put the turkey and other ingredients in. They’re very generous with the turkey — I just wish it was tastier. It just tasted like the deli meat you can get at a supermarket, and not even the fancy kind. There was a hearty layer of avocado(A+!) and a tasty spread of pesto mayo. The veggies also tasted fresh. But the Swiss cheese was just sad. Cold and unappetizing. THISISWHYYOUARESUPPOSEDTOGRILLTHEENTIRESANDWICH … to get the sexy melted cheese look. The panini also came with a small scoop of potato salad that wasn’t bad. Overall, would not get a panini here again. The service was fast and prep of it all was clean. So I might come back to try one of their salads!

I really wanted to like this place. I did a Unilocal search for«salad» near my work and this popped up. It wasn’t even that close, but I figured I’d give it a try. I was really wanting a salad with apples, walnuts, cranberries, bleu cheese and balsamic. I was hoping you could build your own salad, and although you can if you really wanted to, they didn’t appear to have the right ingredients for what I was craving. So I order the Chicken Cobb salad. It’s a big portion and it’s just ok. My complaints are first the sliced avocado on top. I thought it was great that it was included, but as you can see from the pictures the avocado was totally brown. When I first saw it I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured it had already been sliced and perhaps just the top which had been exposed to air was brown. I planned to just scrap off the top layer and enjoy the rest, but it was brown all the way through. Next, the chicken. It was overcooked, boiled or maybe baked, and it had the completely wrong seasonings. It was just big chunks of tough meat. I strongly recommend changing to lightly seasoned grilled chicken which is so much better on this type of salad. So here I am left with a lot of lettuce with bleu cheese, eggs and bacon bits(I skipped the tomatoes). I did miss the warning signs though. Warning sign #1, there was hardly anyone there at lunchtime. Warning sign #2, there were dollar signs on the menu, but no prices. When I asked the girl said they were in the middle of updating their pricing(the salad I got went up $ 1 to $ 9.95). And warning sign #3, my $ 1.75 bottle of Nestle water. I understand businesses usually gouge you on bottled drinks, but this was a bit much. I can buy a 24 pack at Walmart for $ 10. That’s less than 50 cents a bottle. Now onto the good. The young lady that served me was nice and polite and the place looked clean. But I won’t be back.

So slow here. Customer service is horrible. We tried this place twice and we thought to give them a second try due that it’s the only healthy option in the area and they failed again. They don’t have all the options as other salad farms have and are always out of certain items on there menu. The females that work cashier prep always have a «I don’t want to be here«face which is upsetting for customers to see especially when they are lagging during lunch hour. If your off and have nothing to do and time is not precious for you, come here.

I love eating here! I don’t come as often as I used to because I’ve been busy, but the owner remembered me and my boyfriend, and our entire order! Customer service and food is always amazing. I always get the Turkey Panini… my favorite. And my boyfriend gets either the Steak Salad or Chili Beef Baked Potato. We get the Steak Quesadila to share, and I love it because it’s not greasy so you don’t have to feel guilty eating it(or in my case nauseous from all the oil like the ones in taco trucks) If you want fresh, healthy food, come here!

First of all, I think this is a great place to get yummy salads. Now that I’ve ordered to-go twice, I can tell you that they really need to update their salad descriptions or that their salad prep is inconsistent. First time here, I ordered the spinach salad. According to the description, it was supposed to come with bacon but there wasn’t any. Instead there were mushrooms and olives! I don’t like olives at all and don’t really care for mushrooms in my salad. I wish the description would be updated so that I would know how to modify the salad to my taste. Other than that, I still think the spinach salad is tasty! I’ll order it again but without olives and mushrooms. I also tried the shrimp & avocado salad and the salmon salad. The shrimp salad is good, only comes with 4 shrimp though. But I feel like my salmon salad was lacking though. It confused me that it didn’t come with ponzu dressing, it came with ranch. Had I known they were going to give me ranch, I would’ve requested a different dressing. Also, it didn’t have avocado so again, I’m not sure if the salad description is wrong or if the salad prep person forgot the avocado. I’m very confused… But I will be back and make sure to ask questions and modify when I order. The staff have been nice whenever I’ve picked up my food.

My sister and I come here every so often. We usually get the Chinese chicken salad(a store favorite), but I wanted to try something new. I got the spinach salad. Spinach salad comes with boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes, mushroom, honey mustard dressing and chicken(costs extra). All salads come with two pieces of pita bread. I really hate eating salad. To be completely honest I would rather eat chilli cheese fries and cry on the scale later BUT this salad was really good! It was loaded with the ingredient so I have to save some for the next day. The service is usually pretty good, but today it was phenomenal. I loved getting Joseph’s suggestions on the different entrée’s they offer and just general health talk. To me, service is just as important as quality of food and the service alone will make me a lifetime customer.

If you’re looking for healthy options, and a locals vibe to your customer service I’d check out saladfarm. I recently moved into the neighborhood and this has quickly become my favorite place to eat. Prices are very reasonable, and the food is always fresh. Haven’t tried the sandwiches yet but they look good.

The WORST greek salad I have ever had INMYLIFE! I have been here several times and it is one of the only places in the area where you can get a salad. But after today, I will never go back. I asked to add chicken to the salad and then I asked if they could please chop it. Why do you chop a salad? I don’t know, maybe so that you don’t have to mix it all together yourself and so that you can get everything incorporated and easy to fork out as you eat it. Maybe you do it so that all the flavors blend in together. So they warned of a 10 minute wait. Fine. 15+ minutes later I hear them call my salad, but then I hear one of the workers tell the other worker that the salad should have had chicken added. So instead of acknowledging this mistake and telling me, they quickly and haphazardly chop up some chicken and add it on top. What was the point of me asking for the ENTIRE salad to be chopped up then? This alone deserves no stars. But then I taste the salad. It sucks. No flavor whatsoever. I found 3, yes 3 kalamata olives in there and the rest were black olives. Black olives in a greek salad? Really?!? If you have kalamata olives on hand, then those are the olives you should use. And you should also take the pits out of the olives so that the customer doesn’t almost choke on them. But my biggest gripe(as if everything else wasn’t enough) is there was basically no feta cheese added at all. Seriously, I needed a microscope to find the tiny, tiny bits that were in there. Also, maybe 4 halves of a grape tomato, so that means they put 2 grape tomatoes in there. The chopping that they did do before adding the chicken on top wasn’t even done well. I’m adding a photo so that you can see — where is the cheese??? Where are the good olives? Where are the tomatoes and the cucumbers? I strongly suggest that anyone thinking of coming here drive 2 blocks down and get a salad from Lovebirds, or anywhere else for that matter. Totally ruined my lunch.

FYI– we tend to order online from here and have them deliver or pick up. There have been occasions where the store was closed and we were waiting for them to deliver. We usually call to confirm now. Sometimes they don’t make soup during the summer and you’re able to order online(I know, I know, who wants soup during a California summer? We do, my coworker keeps it cold in the office). The good– the salads are pretty good. Prior to this place, I had never suggested we eat salad for lunch. Now we do. The bad– the salads are not very consistent. When we first started eating here the salad had fire roasted corn(like the menu advertises) and now it’s missing or plain corn. Which is fine to someone who has never tasted the fire roasted corn in their salad but once you have it, you’re kind of spoiled. There is usually at least one item missing from what is advertised on the menu. Anyway, hasn’t really stopped us from going but definitely not as often.

I was across the street at UPS thinking to myself, «I really need a salad for lunch.» I walked out of the store and instantly saw Saladfarm. It was meant to be! The staff at Saladfarm was very friendly. I went with the Chicken BBQ salad, but asked if I could substitute one of the veggies, and they kindly said yes and offered suggestions. The salad itself was huge and came with pita. It’s definitely at least 2 meals. There was no one else in the store, so it was very fast. I will definitely go back soon.

We were trying to get something quick and easy since we were running late. Saw this place and there was no one in front of us when we walked in. It took over 25 minutes for a salad and a panini. I have had quicker service at a full dining restaurant. To top it all off the salad was the grossest thing I have ever eaten. The lettuce was completely wilted and it had a funny taste to it. The total price for these two things was over $ 20. A bit steep for the horrible quality.

If I could give this place NOSTARS I would in a heartbeat. I walked in with my Military Uniform on(I didn’t expect a five star treatment but at least a hello from the service would be nice) but no one greeted me to take my order nor to tell me if I had to wait or not. I stood by the food waiting to order but no one would acknowledge me. I tried to get a workers attention but apparently she had better things to do on her phone in the corner. Another reason why I wouldn’t recommend this place is because there was two flies in the food! They laid all of their food out and I noticed a fly in the tangerines and in the salad!!! It was disgusting. I tried to speak up about the disgusting fly but, again, no acknowledgment. I left after 10 minutes of waiting around for absolutely nothing. Don’t go here unless you like flies and horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE service.

This place is great! Alhambra really needed a place with healthy eats and salad farm does the job. Both times I have came in here I ordered the Chinese chicken salad which was around $ 9. The salad wasn’t the best, but it was delicious, everything in the salad complimented each other really well! To anyone unsure of what they want, I would suggest getting the Chinese chicken salad. Also the portion for takeout was huge! There’s parking in the back ! rarely in the front since its on Main Street.

I rarely complain but this was just a shitty experience. I placed an order for delivery for my office. We ordered 9 salads and 2 sandwiches. The estimated time they gave me was 45 min to an hour. The food didn’t arrive for 2 hours. Keep in mind we are only 10 min away from this place and we received no updates on the order time. I had to call twice to get an answer. The girl on the phone had only one response…“Oh yea, sorry we were a little short staffed today because people called in sick so that’s why your order is late, but the driver is on the road to you now.” 20 minutes go by and still no show from the delivery guy. I had to call again! I’m sorry but if you are short staffed and if you receive a big order, that’s information you share and update your customers with. If you can’t handle a mass order and feel like it’s going to take you longer, then you need to communicate with your customers instead of having them wait around for 2 hours without a sound. When I called to speak to a manager they told me that the manager wan’t in, then in the same sentence told me that the manager told them that if I should leave them my number so he/she can call me back. I thought you said they weren’t in? I asked about the ETA on the food and the girl said that they were on their way. Feeling lied to because they said the first time that person was already on the road. By the time food go here, some of the salads we got were warm and some of the potato salads were a little on the hot side. I understand it is hot out, but if this was in fact only a 10 min drive it shouldn’t have been as hot as it was. I feel the delivery guy made other stops and had ours sitting in the car for a while. The only good thing was the decent were the 2 sandwiches. I’m surprised that I didn’t even get an offer for a discount on the food or something to help makeup for their severely late order and lack of communication. I will never order from here again.

Love their food, hate their customer service. At their old location they had a lady who was really nice. Even when she messed up your order, or didnt have it ready on time she would find a way to just make it better(& not by giving freebies or discounts or anything) her customer service was beyond the best. At the new location though, there’s this brat of a cashier. Maybe early 20’s at the most, she has the worst attitude. She is so rude in a sarcastic manner, I love their salads and panini’s but seriously if i go one more time and she makes a sarcastic unnecessary remark or look. i will not be going to this location anymore.

Came here on a Tuesday night because I was craving for some Chinese chicken salad(without the chicken of course). There’s parking in the back & this its next to a barber shop. Inside is pretty big & clean. It wasn’t busy at all, probably only two other tables there when we walked in. There was a couple people who ordered Togo though. Salads are around $ 9, they have a lot of different salads to choose from. Some have chicken, tuna, steak, shrimp, salmon etc. They also sell paninis, soup(soup of the day or clam chowder), baked potato and tasty meals(you choose a salad and two sides). Food is done really fast, only had to wait for like 7 mins. I got the Chinese chicken salad without the chicken. I asked for dressing on the side so the dressing doesn’t make the greens all soggy. I really liked their sauce, not too bad, except they put a lot of crispy wontons in there. I felt really fat afterwards because of it. They’re so delicious though, so it’s my fault for even putting them in my mouth. My boyfriend got the chicken tortilla soup. He said it was pretty good. They also put wontons in the soup and it makes it all soggy. They also put an avocado in it as well. He also got the chicken Caesar salad. The croutons don’t really taste as good as other places. He said it was mediocre. Service is good here, the lady greeted us when we walked in. They were overall really nice and friendly. The one thing I didn’t like was how the guy was chewing his gum super loud though. It was distracting, but I guess it’s not a big deal. I wouldn’t crave saladfarm so i don’t think I would come back again. There’s nothing too special about this place. Oh, and a knat flew into my salad & on my boyfriends salad! It was sooo gross! BUT it honestly isn’t their fault though because in the back parking lot, there’s like a swarm of knats just chilling on parked cars. That area is just infested with knats so be careful.

Walked in to something very very unwelcoming. A big pet peeve of mine, and I’m sure most patrons would agree with me, is seeing tables upon tables stacked with dirty dishes and utensils left behind by earlier customers. I saw tables that weren’t cleaned up and the place wasn’t even remotely busy… This astonished me and gave way to a terrible first impression. I ordered the steak salad medium rare. It was interesting… but the meat was still a big tough. The Chicken tortilla soup was unpalatable. The only thing I enjoyed was their bacon and cheese baked potato. Suffice it to say, my first visit wasn’t a great one.

Came here looking for a good healthy spot in the area. Paid $ 12 bucks for 4oz of ahi tuna a, 4 pieces of grilled veggies(sliced, 2−3inches each) at least give us ONE serving of veggies(1cup) and a small pita bread? Let’s not mention my friend’s plate was the exact same thing except they gave her COLD grilled corn. The cook was super nice enough to make her a new corn except we’re already done with our meal and still no corn. I’d rather pay 3 – 4 more bucks for tender greens where they actually give you more food. The manager or whatever she was all over the kitchen without a hairnet, and some other guy was in there drinking a beer. This ONESTAR goes out to the actual cook who helped us out and was super awesome. P. s. I’m still hungry

I’ve google this place before and the first thing that comes to mind was always, «Oh, another overpriced salad place lol.» Boy was I wrong! The salad was delicious! Definitely the best part of the meal. What We Ordered — Cobb Salad — Steak and Cheese Panini — Chili Beef and Cheese Baked Potato Yum.the Cobb Salad was fresh and flavorful. I don’t even like blue cheese! The dressing ratio was perfect. The Steak and Cheese Panini was more on the dry side for me. However, my friend really enjoyed it. I had high hopes for the Chili Beef and Cheese Baked Potato. I mean, come on, how do you mess up on a baked potato lol. The potato was HUGE and super fluffy! I just wished I got a different topping. The Chili Beef and Cheese was so bland! :(Maybe it was watered down? Although I only enjoyed 1 out of the 3 items I ordered, I would come back for the salads! Service was excellent! :) Tip: If you type in «Saladfarm Alhambra» in Google Maps, it will take you to their old location. Use the address on Unilocal

When I walk into a place called Salad Farm, I have two thoughts. I’m going to order a salad, and I hope its good. It seems from some of these peoples comments below, were looking for more of a murder mystery type dinner, something with pazazz or a love song sung to them upon delivery of the salad. Well ya know, it just isn’t that kind of shagging wagon. It’s a great little spot in my community for a salad or panini or stuffed baked potato with or with out all the fixings. What’s not to like? Wish the walls were a different color? Shuuuuuuuut up. I ordered a Bbq Chicken salad and it was fabulous! My friend ordered the Greek salad and she cleaned the plate. The portions are huge, you can probably share a salad with two people and still have pita left over. Everything was very fresh and I got there at the end of the day. The staff was quick, polite and very helpful, even with customers that were being snarky with them, they stayed professional. I will absolutely be back soon.

Came because I bought a groupon… My boyfriend and I came on a Tuesday night. The place was empty but clean. I ordered a steak salad and a broccoli, cheese and chicken baked potato and my boyfriend ordered the turkey panini and a broccoli and cheese baked potato. The staff was courteous and friendly. Very nice. As for the food, my steak salad was delish! It was a nice big portion, and my boyfriend truly enjoyed his panini. The potatoes were okay, maybe just a bit dry. The chicken on mine was delicious and fresh though. I would recommend trying this place and judging it for yourself.

Can’t believe this place was dead! But then again it was a Wednesday night… We were the only customers to enter the place and we weren’t too sure if it was open or closed. The cashier was nice and friendly as we were deciding what to order. Don’t be deceived by the name, the place also has paninis as well. My friend had a Groupon deal which was great and we decided to order 1 salad and 1 panini. The wide selection of salads made it hard for us to decide but we ended up with a Chinese Chicken Salad($ 8.95) and a Steak & Cheese($ 8.95) panini. Big big portions! The salad came with flat breads, nice pairing of carbs and vegetables. Salad itself was average, didn’t taste as Chinese because they didn’t use sesame dressing nor include almonds. Steak & Cheese was gooood, the panini wasn’t burnt but still crunchy enough.

Came by Saladfarm’s new location this past Saturday with my husband for a late lunch a little after 2 pm. This place was at 301 W Main Street last year( ) and I have dined there once and enjoyed my visit and had high hopes for this visit. After looking over the menu, we ended up getting: Salmon Salad $ 10.95 prior to tax– I ordered the salmon salad at the old location and really enjoyed it and decided to get it again. I was a little disappointed that the salmon was actually even a little smaller than the portion given the last time I had this. The portion I had last time was rather small, probably about ~3 ish oz. maybe even 4 oz. And that portion was just fine with me. But this time, the salmon was even a slight bit smaller, probably 0.25 oz less(something so small is really a big difference to me, especially if I am paying $ 10.95 for this salad). But aside from the smaller portion, the salmon was cooked well and tasted just as good as it had the last time I had it. Barbecue chicken salad, $ 8.95 prior to tax– My husband ordered this and we liked the barbecue chicken but was not a fan of the salad. The salad was made of the cheap iceberg lettuce which is rather unappealing. The portion of the chicken was a good amount though. I think since Saladfarm makes salads after you order them, you could probably ask them to make this salad with the healthy dark green leafys or romaine lettuce or even raw spinach leafs, which is something my husband may do if we ever come back here. Service was rather slow. There was only one person who made a to go order ahead of us and the place wasn’t too busy around the time we came. I think the guy who took our order was new since he seemed to have a little trouble but once this female employee came, things seemed to move along better. Overall, this lunch visit was just average. I liked my salad a little better on my previous visit and service was a little faster.(The last time I came, it was on a Saturday around 1:30 pm) I don’t know if I would come back here for another salad to be honest, unless a friend wanted to meet me here. But I wouldn’t initially recommend coming here. By the way, there is street parking on Main St. and also a parking lot in the back. The unisex restroom was decent but ran out of paper towels and seat covers on this visit. Also wished this place had free WiFi and/or a TV.

Alhambra is seriously lacking in healthy eats. I was really hoping that Saladfarm would be that restaurant that I could go to for my vegetables fix but it really disappointed me. I bought a Groupon($ 12 for $ 20) for this restaurant to check it out and I’m really thankful that I did because I don’t think it was worth the $ 12 I paid. First of all, I got to the restaurant right when they were supposed to be open and they were not ready and did not open for another 15 minutes which was annoying. The ordering system is simple enough. You order at the front, and someone will make your salad for you. I ordered the Tuna Panini and the Greek Salad with Chicken. I had originally wanted their baked potato but they said that they weren’t ready yet(ummm, okay). So I had to change plans and order a panini instead for us. The Tuna panini was really quite disappointing. There were super skimpy on the tuna and it came with a really small scoop of potato salad. Very underwhelming. The salad was a little better but not that much better. The dressing was fine and they were heavy handed with the toppings and such but it just didn’t taste all that fresh. I ordered it with chicken and while the chicken was juicy it was cut up in such large pieces that it was bland and rather difficult to eat. For a salad place, their salads really are not that good. They are lacking in flavor and creativity and it really tastes just like something you can probably make at home. Not to mention, shouldn’t everything on the menu be available when they open? Overall, it was alright with the Groupon deal I got but I doubt I’ll ever go back. 1⁄5
