I’ve been wanting to try the cream puffs but always go when they close so I finally went but I am dissapointed. The cream puffs were frozen so I guess I had to wait for them to thaw but I decided to throw them away because I wanted to them right there and then plus I was expecting them to be fresh. I wonder if their donuts are fresh daily. Don’t recommend going there, I’d rather buy some fresh from beard papas and pay a little bit more.

Been to King’s many times. Its located right off the 10 freeway off of Fremont. Located in a small strip mall with a subway and 7 – 11 i’ve tried a few things here, but what keeps me coming back are the crème puffs Usually stop by and buy a box if im going over to friends house or party. Pound cake is also excellent there when ive been able to get some. Its a no frills small mom and pop donut shop but the selection and quality is always good!

I love this mom & pop donut shop! I discovered it years ago when my gf recommended the cream puffs. I have brought them to get togethers, work, and as a treat to my son’s teachers. Of course everyone loves them! This morning my coffee machine broke so I went in with my cup for some fresh coffee-it was good coffee, strong enough for a sleep deprived working mom. I also bought a jalapeño ham & cheese croissant– omg so yummy. It was a pleasant surprise that the jalapeño is in between the ham and cheese inside the croissant. The owner always throws in a few donut holes every time I’ve stopped by. Such a sweet place!

One of the worst raspberry glazed donuts I have ever had. After two small bites I had to trash it away!

As a die-hard bagel fan, I will temporarily hang my flag for their cream puffs. The donuts are not overly sweet, limp, or soggy. The chocolate bars are good too. The owner(who was very very nice) gave me a croissant for free. I took a bite into it, and surprise, it was a cinammin-like croissant. Absolutely will be back for the cream puffs. Downer is that it’s a dozen for $ 5. At ~$ 0.40 for a piece, with each piece being ~2 bites, it’s a bit pricey.

I tried the ham and cheese crossaint and it was huge! I just wish it had more cheese because it tasted plain.

3 stars because I saw pictures on Unilocal that they had red velvet & blueberry cake donuts, but upon arrival– I learned they were only SPECIALORDER. $ 9 for one dozen(not bad, but I would feel horrible about myself if I ate a dozen alone haha). Very friendly service though. Cream puff was ok, 3 for $ 1.75. Cash only!(There is an atm machine outside if you are risky and just reallly, really want a donut.)

Tried this place out due to the good reviews and wasn’t too impressed but not that disappointed either. The cream puffs are cream puffs. They are big enough for two bites and they offer custard filling or white cream. It’s cheap enough but could be cheaper honestly cause their not that big. It’s convenient. Except I think it’s cash only which is a little annoying.

I have only tried their cream puffs and glazed donut. The owner is really nice and always throws in a free donut when I purchase a dozen cream puffs. They are conveniently right off the 10 fwy. Their cream puffs are light and buttery:) yum

This is a hidden gem right off the 10 Freeway! I haven’t been here myself but my bestie Lucia brought a box of the cream puffs over to a housewarming party and we devoured it all! The custard is good but the cream ones are SO addicting !!!(:

Ok i just love their donuts… it’s super light and not greasy. I usually always get their donuts for meeting or just because for my staff. The couple is super nice as well. My favorite is the chocolate bar. Mmn I want one now…

I’m not the only one who thinks their cream puffs are better than Beard Papa’s. Addictive. While Beard Papa’s custard filling is a little more vanilla flavored, I sometimes want something a little lighter and this place has a great not-too-sweet cream option. When I’m jones-ing for donuts this is the place I think of.

Seriously this is the best donut shop for cream puffs, croissants, croissant hot dogs and donut holes.(My favs) Their cream puffs are amazing and the best out of all the others I’ve tried. The cream taste very light and definitely a win with friends, family and work colleagues. Tip: they are kept in the fridge so just give it 5mins before you eat them as they are slightly hard but once you ready they melt in your mouth. Also the croissants are heaps good and massive I usually eat half in morn for work and half the next day and only $ 1.50 Also for the usual customers they tend to throw in an extra donut whole or hotdog if your nice :) Finally, the owners are super nice and give great service. They open at 430am so you can get something to eat on your long commute to work!

A great little donut/coffee spot next to the Fremont entrance to the 10 freeway! I come here for their highly addictive, airy cream puffs, dusted with powdered sugar*__* Make sure you get them filled with the whipped cream rather than the custard, for the custard is frozen and heavier than the cream. For $ 4.75 a dozen, it’s hard not to go overboard with your purchase haha. The owner is always so sweet and throws in a donut or some donut holes with my purchases. Overall, a solid spot with great service and cream puffs!

In high school I used to get two dozen donuts from here at least once a month for my homeroom. I looked around for the best deal(because you know I was on that student council budget) and this was the best! The woman who runs this place is always very helpful and used to tell me what was the freshest! I miss coming here.

Biggest regret? Getting donutes instead of 2 dozen warm, fresh, crispy, sugary cream puffs! These are no Beard Papa’s cream puffs, these are different. They are more like doughy donutty, fluffy, cloud-like pastries filled with delicious cream. Not wierd tasting cream, no. They are about the size of a donut hole, a little bigger, so order accordingly! I can’t wait to find a reason to go there again… I had bought them for my friends and only got to devour ONE. boo Next time I will get 2 dozen for myself! hahah! Enjoy.

I can’t believe I live around the corner from this place and have never given them a chance. I’ll admit I was a sellout. Deciding to frequent the evil Krispy Kreme instead of my local mom and pop’s Donut Shop. Well after visiting last Saturday morning, I can safely say my affair with Krispy Kreme is over. Its your standard mom and pop’s donut shop. They offer coffee and breakfast sandwiches as well. No tables to sit at, so dont expect to linger. I got 8 donuts plus a ham and cheese croissant. My taste buds were blown away bright and early in the morning. We all know donuts are donuts. But the freshness and spongyness of these were simply amazing. The ham and cheese croissant was huge! The cheese and ham inside the croissant was fresh out of the oven hot. Like the cheese was still melting hot. Great breakfast. Plus all of that for only $ 8.00 is a deal. The only downside is they do not take ATM cards. Cash only. It is located in a plaza sharing its lot with 7 – 11, papa john’s, and subway so there is always plenty of parking. Definitely check this place out.

I always come here when i get a chance. Price is reasonable and everything is always fresh. The workers always give you a free donuts when you order things there. Sometimes they upgrade your coffee to a bigger cup too. Extremely friendly service and pretty much the best donut shop around and a much bigger variety of selection. If you are here for cream puffs. Beard papa is still the best but keep in mind you are also paying a premium.
