Randomly decided to come here because my aunt saw the adverts they were running. We ordered grilled lamb chops (w/​4 sauces), cold cut pork, lamb and fish soup, and cold skin noodles («liang pi»). The lamb chops were pretty good, albeit dry for some pieces. The cold skin noodles were my favorite but a bit too salty. Took a star off for slow and inattentive service.

The menu is expensive and comparable to seafood restaurants, but the taste is far from that you get at seafood restaurants. The BBQ is not as good as other places as well. Would not come back.

The service was fast. Most of the food in the menu was spicy. Place was done nicely and have sufficient parking. If you are a fan of spicy food, you might want to give this place a try… Just dont order the shredded pork in brown sauce if you are not a fan of vinegar.

I came here with my family dinner, most of the food was just okay, the big lobster we had was not fresh «I hate restaurant give you Dead Sea food while you order from their tank» and I don’t think we can ever puzzle the entire lobster back together because there are questionable body part missing? over all services was below average, they need to train or hire professional waitress & improve their cooking skill to stay competitive in the restaurant industries.

We’re finally going to have our first meal for today. After a long morning of banks, credit unions and documents… It was priority to get all docs in before noon today.
We use to frequent this place a couple of years ago. We were here for one of the Chinese New year celebration while the dragon danced trrough the restaurant.
They have an awesome lunch menu $ 5.98 which it includes steamed rice & hot tea. Wifey really enjoys her Kun Pao chicken and I always enjoy a good vegetable stir fry. I wanted to try a third dish… something new to our taste buds. I asked our friendly waiter for his recommendation on a beef dish. He suggested the Cumin beef. spicy and very tender. If you really like cumin flavor «This is your dish!» Very flavorful.
Overall a great experience but the flavors did change… NOT bad just different. more of an Indian flavor than a Chinese flavor.
I enjoyed it. but i guess I’ll be coming alone… Wifey didn’t., (

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I’ve tasted around! Had The Chef’s Cook House Special Lobster, Bok Choi w/​Mushrooms white stream rice, that I don’t ready too much of. But I miss the taste of the steam rice. We were tasted so kindly and friendly!
They gave us some sweet soup balls. Curry was such a great server along with everyone working here. They are closed between 3 – 5 pm though
I’m already planning what I’m going to odder next time

Ok don’t expect great service. This is family style and not your typical Chinese place. The hot and sour soup comes in a size of a vat! They are know. For rack of lamb ribs and lamb dishes. They are pretty good but again the service is quite bad. But giving a 4 for the dishes.

My friend and I were actually excited about trying this place out since it’s so close to our office and the lunch special prices were unbeatable. Two of us ordered 5 dishes and a soup (yes, we knew that we ordered too much for two.) All vegetarian except for the bean curd with shredded pork. The food were a little too salty but overall we were still happy with all the variety. I was not going to write a review about this place until we both had stomachache later that day. My housemate ate the leftovers I took home and he had the same problem too. So that was it. I don’t think I will go back again. The prices were good but not worth the risk.

Went about a month ago had no idea what we order it was ok but what i didn’t like it was when we paid i left a 4 dollar tip on table so we left pulling out the parking this Chinese waitress runs after my car knoking on my windo w yelling «you forgot tip tip» i was like wtf! This idiot i told her its on table u bitch! Omg that was so stupid of her chasing my car she crazy never going bak ther!!!

Always had great lunch specials here — Very generous portions for only $ 5.99. Some favorite items: Jia-​Jung Noodle, spicy shredded beef, boiled or pan-​fried dumplings (not 8 or 10, but 12 pcs!). Prompt, courteous service. Bright airy interior unlike other Chinese restaurants.

Tried their lamb chop, hot and sour soup, dumplings, and stir fried vegetables with garlic. I am not a big fan of lamb as I dislike their smell. However, the chef did a good job to get rid of the smell of lamb, and I ended up eating quite a bit of lamb!!!
Hot and sour soup was a bit too spicy in my opinion. The chef probably added too much pepper, and I felt super warm after drinking the soup… There are a lot of veggies inside the soup! Highly recommended for winter time~
Dumplings and vegetables were ok~ staff was very attentive and friendly~ this is a good family style restaurant!

Five delights with glass noodle — ** too sweet, flat noodles were too wide and not cutting properly
Jelly fish head with vinegar — **** chewy cold dish, recommend
Mu chai whole lamb soup — **** white soup broth with lamb meat, very rich in flavors, recommend
Grilled lamb chop — **** crispy and chewy lamb meat with four kinds of dipping sauce, recommend
Whole fish with sweet and sour sauce — ** tasted so so
Mix seafood griddle — *** beef and fish slices tasted ok
Pumpkin sticky rice — *** sweet and sticky
Glutinous rice dumpling — *** sweet and flavorful
Price: generous portions and decent prices, expect $ 15 ~ $ 20 per person
Overall, 5-​star RECOMMEND!

If you are a big fan of lamb, this will be a place for you to try. We were having the family dinner tonight here, and we are a fan of lamb. We have order couple dishes including the popular grilled lamb chops and lamb soup here. We think the other dishes like deep fried fish and chicken are fine, but the best dishes we love the most would be the lamb dishes. The only thing I don’t really like for the lamb would be they are too fat, but the whole dish of the grilled lamb chops have a very nice display. They have 4 different special sauces for the lamb chops, it all taste good! However, the chairs seems like a little bit dirty and old, but the restaurant is clean.

Came in for dinner with the family. Service was ok servers were prompt being that today was a holiday everyone was out getting ready to watch the fireworks. Dishes are decently priced low being that this is a new restaurant
We ordered several entrees for a party of 10. Food was decent if you like salt, they are very generous with it. Most of all our dished was salty. Had to have the server take some of the entrees back. So be prepared to fill up on tea or water.

it has become a family event to see what new restaurant has popped up in this location. this has got to be at least the 5th establishment to come along.
i was shocked at Unilocal’s 4.5 star average & already knew i’d probably bring in the first low review. we ordered a variety of dishes from cumin lamb, eggplant, sesame pancake, kung pao chicken, sweet & sour pork, lions head meatball, and some greens. overall, the food was much spicier than i was expecting. the cumin lamb and kung pao chicken in particular, whoo baby, keep the ice water comin’!
beyond that, food was just okay. nothing really stood out. on top of that, service was below average. we asked for water refills and the waitress refilled half our cups and walked away. hello, dying of spicy overload here! more water, please! the last two dishes also came out a great deal after the rest of the dishes. odd…
also, surprised that there wasn’t any sort of dessert served. typically at chinese restaurants you’d get the uzhe red bean soup or at least some orange slices.
doubtful this place will last any longer than its predecessors.

The food was great and we got great service. The place is fairly new and only been opened for a few weeks. All the dishes tasted great and were not too spicy.
I thought the Sweet and Sour Soup tasted just right, it was not too spicy. The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce was sensational and I highly recommend it. I would also recommend the Sesame Pancake which was crunchy but soft and flaky on the inside. It was much better than the regular pancake. The place offers great food and attentive service. I would eat here again.
