The food was decent, but I’ve also had better. I was disappointed that they don’t serve Taiwanese pork chop rice during dinner as it’s a lunch special only. The location is a bit hidden and despite living in the area, my parents were completely unaware of this place as it faces a neighborhood street and is located in the back behind a shopping center. The prices could definitely be a bit cheaper for the type of food they serve. The servers were very nice and responsive though. I would go back, but probably only during the lunch hours. We spent $ 60+ for three people at dinner. I felt we could’ve gotten more out of it.

Small space kind of tucked away near old banquet halls or something. We had lunch there with hot tea. We shared popcorn chicken(just like boba places), greens, braised tofu, and beef with greens. My friend ordered the fish with bean curd, which took so long to come out that we had finished all other food. It was supposedly because of the steaming process. However, it WAS pretty good fish. Overall, decent place — just kind of odd location. The waiting area outside could also use a good cleaning!

Not a big fan, two of us were here for dinner on Friday night, 2⁄3 empty. We ordered a soup, a stir fired veggie dish and a bowl of noodles. The food was ok at best, nothing that’ll you’ll remember our want to try again for. Our bill came out to be 60+. Not worth it in my opinion, wouldn’t go back

So overpriced for mediocre food. Three flavor combo– 3⁄5 was okay, the ingredients/meat was fresh and yummy but the three flavor itself wasn’t very good. The dish wasn’t as flavorful as three cup dishes usually are. Mapo tofu– 3⁄5 This wasn’t bad, but it’s pricey for tofu. The flavors are quite good and tofu is silky and tender. Combination fried rice– 3⁄5 Nothing special here, but regular combo fried rice with egg, shrimp and beef. Shrimp with cabbage– 2⁄5 salty and portions are small. There’s really nothing special about this dish and it was close to $ 10 for a small portion of cabbage. Braised pork belly– 4⁄5 This was good and very juicy. The fatty parts are not too fatty where it’s sickening to eat, but tender and flavorful. Overall, will not be back. Service was not good and it seems a regulars type of restaurant catering to a specific palate. and price range.

The food here is very expensive. It tastes good, but the price isn’t worth the quality. The quantity of the food was also limited. Not a lot of seating area. Nothing special that would recommend to people.

I’m not a big fan of Chinese food. Surprised, right? But if my family ever comes to Bebe, I’m participating for sure. It’s one of the few Chinese restaurants in the area that I won’t eat at grudgingly. Parking: Plenty of parking because it’s in a plaza with jackshit going on. Atmosphere: Bebe isn’t small, but they pack some big tables. I think they can only fit maybe 5 – 6 familes at a time, but I’ve never had to wait for a table. Service: Pretty friendly and not the shouty/disinterested type you get in most Chinese restaurants. Food: I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the food just gets me. I don’t know what any of the dishes are called, but I’d say they’re mostly hits. But there is this trout-like fish that I have to get every time.

The best 蚵仔煎(oyster pancake, traditional Taiwanese deli) in the LA. also recommend their Lamb Hotpot(羊肉爐), such great taste and can be shared for more than 4 people. Worth every dollar of $ 38.

I’ve been a few times and at first, I wasn’t a big fan. I was probably just ordering the wrong thing? I love their iced red tea(not sure how to say that in English, but that’s how you translate it from Chinese). Their Stinky Tofu is so good. Not too fried and best of all, STINKY! The stinkier the yummier. Don’t forget to dip in the awesome sauce it comes with. It’s not the same without it. Their Spicy Beef Noodle Soup is also pretty good if you like spicy. The beef and broth go hand in hand together. The owner is always there and is VERY friendly to everyone. Parking is very easy as there is only one other business in that area.

Read a few reviews and decoded to stop by with wifey after along day. A lady who sat us, helped us with our order was extremely polite and nice to guide me in ordering dishes perhaps would fit my palate. She even made sure that I didn’t over order! That was a very nice gesture from a host. Finally the food came out with flying sizzling colors! Presentation and aroma was out of this world. After the 1st bite, fell in LOVE with the freshness and taste!!! I think I found my new favorite Taiwanese place :-) Please say hi to Monica(owner) for me, as later I found out that she was our host. She is a we some!

I tried their stinky tofu here which I must say was very stinky which is a good thing if you are a true Taiwanese person. My husband on the other hand cannot stand the smell. Also. I tried it to-go one time. I didn’t finish it right away and had left it over in the fridge for a few hours. When I took it out to reheated again it stunk up my whole kitchen and living room which was not a very pleasant smell even to me. Therefore I do not recommend that you take this dish to go and recommend that you eat it at the restaurant. I also tried their pork chop rice lunch combo. It comes with decent quality and amount of food and a drink so I would say it is an affordable economic lunch combo box to try if you are in the area. I also tried their tofu and white noodle soup which I forgot what it is called in English. It is a popular breakfast noodle soup in Taiwan and I would say that this dish here tastes almost as good as the ones you can find in Tw. I want to especially mention that their garlic soy sauce paste is super delicious and goes well with almost anything and everything including rice and noodles. Therefore I would strongly recommend anyone to try it. I plan to come back here and visit it again soon in the future.

My mom made a reservation for 9 here for my brother’s bday. Started off with Five Assorted Platter(a cold appetizer plate) which came with mountain yams topped with bonito flakes, smoked cuttlefish, smoked shark, smoked duck and cold cut organic chicken. Was told that this dish is traditionally served in Taiwanese weddings. Next came their famous braised pork belly dish and the 3 cup squid, chicken and intestine dish –both were served in old-fashioned clay pots. I really enjoyed how tender the pork belly and the squid were. The flavors were aromatic and robust. Recommend you try at least of these dishes. The fried crab with sticky rice was another savory dish and the portion was huge! The steamed stinky tofu was good but not the best that I have had. Would try the fried stinky tofu or the spicy stinky tofu next time. The fire shrimp was still on fire when served to us and it was fun to look at. I’m not a big fan of shrimp so I can’t comment further on this dish. The steamed fish was fresh, light, tender and had a mild flavor to it. We had two soups — organic chicken soup and the napa cabbage stew with assorted vegetables. The chicken soup came with the offal too. The chicken meat was chewy and the broth tasted homemade. I recommend the napa cabbage stew; it has an authentic Taiwanese flavor to it. I had leftovers of it the next day and it tasted even better! Since we were there celebrating a birthday, we were told we must get the pork feet noodle. That too had an authentic Taiwanese flavor to it. Their taro and grass jelly dessert was a nice treat too. Plenty of parking available in the plaza.

OMG, bad, worse and worst! I hope I can give them 0 star! Horrible restaurant! First of all, the service is very slow, until we finished all of our dishes, they still didn’t serve us the water. Secondly, the dish was quite small but incredible price. If you see the menu I posted, you will know. The very last but important thing is — – The fresh oyster pancake($ 10) is filled with a lot of sands!!! Unbelievable!!! Worst restaurant ever!!!

Ran a search on Unilocal for pork belly and this place showed up in my results. Went here this evening and pointed at a picture on Unilocal of the pork belly with squid. She said they had it so I ordered that. When the food came out, it was missing the squid. So I asked the waitress what happened the squid and she said oh… we don’t have… the heck… I was really looking forward to eating the pork belly with the squid… but ended up eating the pork belly by itself with rice. Didn’t really enjoyed the food, because I was felt disappointed that they tricked me. I also think the language barrier contributed to this also. I’ll give this place another chance, but might have to call up Jennifer T. to translate. :)

I live right by this place and didn’t know it became Bebe Fusion until today. Finding really good Taiwanese food is not always easy if you’re not in Taiwan. I think I came in with a little too much expectations because of the high ratings and the positive reviews. 1. Pan Fried Oysters Chitterling Thin Noodle — a staple Taiwanese Food that I was excited to try because not many restaurants can achieve the perfect taste. This bowl had a LOT of oysters and chitterling(large intestine). And it had the right consistency of this dish… but it lacked in flavor. I had to ask for extra pepper and black vinegar to make it tastier on my own. 2 Stars. 2. Combination Fried Rice — I really wanted to get the Sausage Fried Rice instead, but since I picked the Noodles, I let my boyfriend pick this one. This was nothing special. There was meat, shrimp, eggs… oh and egg shells. =\ Sorry. There was very little flavor to this and I added a bunch of chili to it. Surprisingly, so did my boyfriend(and he hardly ever adds any chili to anything!) 2 Stars 3. Oyster Pancake — THISWASGOOD! I have to admit that this place makes one of the best Oyster Pancakes I’ve had in the SGV! Perfect amount of oysters and all the ingredients are perfectly balanced. I ALSO found egg shells in this one though. Seriously… did the chef ask a kid to crack the eggs for him? :(Regardless…this dish was a 4 Star dish for me. Service was good here. They gave me tea while we waited(5 min) for a seat. They were friendly and attentive, refilling our cups with tea. And the parking is abundant! I’m giving this place 3 stars with hopes of coming back here to try a few more of the Taiwan staples. They have so many of those on their menu and I’m still on the lookout for one place that will meet all of my Taiwanese standards!
