Went in on Sunday to look at beds. Sales guy was very low pressure and super wonderful. Initially there was a delivery window open Monday morning(the next day!) but unfortunately that was gone by the time we setup our purchase. Next available was wed…3 days later. That’s fine. Delivery window noon-3pm. I took the day off work to wait for the delivery guy… by 3:30 no call/no show. Call the store and find out there was a problem with our account number so we won’t be getting it delivered today. You would think they’d realize this on Monday or Tuesday or even wed morning about this issue instead of waiting for us to call them. Talked to summer at the store today. Very nice and unfortunately stuck in the middle. Said they could re schedule delivery for another day but I’m not free for another week. Offered to help in any other way but when I asked her about this she said she didn’t know how else she could help and would have to contact her area manager. So here we are waiting for the area manager to call her back and see if they can do anything. When dropping $ 1500 on a mattress I would expect better service. The original sales guy we had was awesome but someone massively dropped the ball and cost me a lot of time and money missing wrk. They offered me a slight refund and we have delivery setup on Friday. We will see how things fair.

They recently moved locations, I assume Aaron(from the previous comments) is gone. We stopped in for their grand opening, only been open 3 days, and I guess that was a good move on our part because they were looking to move as much inventory as possible within their first week. We dealt with John a pleasant and informed salesman, and oh my was he a salesman through and through! He made us an offer that was very very competitive, and basically talked us into getting a bed when we walked in not intending on buying one. We’re very happy with our purchase and the incredible deal that we got!

We went into this store during their Fourth of July sale to look for a new mattress for my new apartment place. Fortunately, we didn’t have to deal with Aaron, like the other reviewer below. We dealt with Gordy(?), the regional manager(?). I forgot his name, but his name was rare(…like Gordy). Well, regardless, he doesn’t normally man the store. This weekend was just special, I guess. We did buy a mattress from here. Specifically, I settled on a Sealy Posturepedic.(I didn’t want to break the bank by going with a Sterns and Foster, but I wanted something more comfortable than a bed one puts in his/her guest room.) The deal Gordy gave us was a lot better than the deals from Back to Bed and American Mattress. Gordy was also understanding and started more conversations than some of the employees at the other mattress stores we walked into. I took off one star, because he wasn’t as «intimately involved» as I would have liked in helping me find the perfect mattress. Still, I’m happy we bought a mattress here than at that Back to Bed place.

We went into the Algonquin Bedding Experts on Randall Road on Memorial Day Weekend to look for a new king size Stearns & Foster bed. We had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Aaron, the store manager. This is a person who feels he is smarter and knows more than everybody else on every subject imaginable. I was there to buy a bed and not be told pretty much that I know absolutely nothing about anything. He was abrasive, a know it all and obviously not working to make any money or a sale. He would not provide a better cost on the bed and let us walk out the door w/o making a purchase as he would not give us the bottim line cost or as he said, if he went any lower, we would have to finance it ourselves by paying for our purchase outright rather than use their financing as it was going to cost them money to provide financiing. All this and we hadn’t even completed the form for the financing. We were buying a $ 2,000 bed and he would not negotitiate a better cost than the $ 200 coupon they were offering in the paper. Needless to say, we will be buying our mattress elsewhere to get a better deal and from someone else who isn’t so abrasive.
