On Fridays my boss takes us out to breakfast. We alternate between here, Flaming Grille and Antonio’s. Their potato pancake is interesting. It’s a plate sized pancake, more cake than potato, with onions and served with butter and sour cream. I didn’t care for the Greek omelet. Biscuits and gravy weren’t that great. most of the guys stick to the egg and meat combo breakfasts. service is good. atmosphere is 1970’s finished basement chic.

I came in for breakfast. I was the only one eating at the counter at the time and it took 5 minutes to even get a menu. The bacon was cooked just right and the prices are reasonable. If you like one of a kind informal diners this is your place.

I had breakfast at Kay’s as it seemed like a good place to go back to after wandering off the ice. Kay’s is a pretty decent diner with a very funky parking lot. Probably the funkiest parking lot I have ever seen, but it’s all good. Inside of the restaurant is like something you would see in the U.P. Although I came here at lunch time, I had a ham and cheese omelet with home fries and a coke. The special for the day was the Chicken Club sandwich and I was really hoping it was going to be Chicken and Biscuit day with mashed potatoes. So, I drew a blank when ordering and opted for a ham & cheese omelet. It was alright… the eggs could be fluffier. I just had my brain on Chicken & Biscuits. Great little place… good service.

Awesome food! Great staff! Little bit small for me. The parking lot needs to be fixed and maybe expanded very hard to back in and out with our truck!

We love Kay’s for breakfast and lunch !! Awesome choices ! Great staff and owner. You’ll feel right at home with foods that very well could have come out of our own kitchens BUTBUT — we don’t have to clean up ! Enjoy the food and the smiles and listen in for the local talk — never know what you’ll pick up !! But you’ll leave with a full tummy and a smile! Well, it’s February 2016! And we still love Kay’s !! We mostly do breakfast, sometimes lunch, the wait-staff is friendly and always efficient ! When Steve is there just listen-up. There’s a joke in there somewhere! Just feels like home!

love this place, very homestyle diner, small setting; food excellent, coffee refills frequent, and very inexpensive, Reminds me of my Grandmothers diner in Pickens, South Carolina in the 1960’s.

Typical day at Kay’s … Always Friendly and congenial. The food is very good and well presented. All of the waitresses are warm and friendly. The daily specials are never a miss. the best ones are«Shephards Pie» and«Chicken and Biscuits». Even the Sliders are excellent.

We found this restaurant a while ago. Their fried appetizer platter is the best. Pizza… two thumbs up. But that was a while ago. Last time we were there I had to send my chicken sandwich back because it was undercooked and had an inch of fat around it. My husbands reuben had one tough rubbery piece of corned beef on his sandwich. He ate it because he was hungry. We havn’t been back since.
