ordered for the first time from wingzone. Ordered the chicken stripes, fries, motta stixs, coleslaw. Chickenstips were dry, not to mention the wrong sauce came with them. had better at other fast food place. Fries were standard fries, with two small ketchup packets for a lot of fries. Mottza sticks were good, cole slaw ok. Overall it was nothing special. don;t think a second trip will happen.

Absolutely delicious. I got home exhausted from work and dinner arrived in less then 30 mins! Hot and fresh! My first time ordering from this place and I will definitely order here again. The smoking Q’ sauce is definitely spicy but it was great. Quick and efficient delivery!

Delivery was fast placed order at 9:29 order was out for delivery by 9:41, order was correct, food was hot and pretty darn good.

Give this place a try. You WON’T be sorry.
The boyfriend and I decided to order from Wing Zone despite the back and forth reviews on here. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our order! We ordered the boneless wings and a couple of garden salads (which run about $ 4.50 each – WHAT?), and everything was delivered hot and fresh. Definitely hit the spot.
The wait time is around an hour, but it was well worth it considering the other sub-​par delivery options in this area. We have added Wing Zone as one of our permanent delivery staples.

I don’t know why people have such a terrible time with this place. I’ve ordered from here 3 times, and they’ve been great every occasion. The food is good, service is good, and everything has been up to par.

Terrible. Incompetent.
This evening I ordered a garden salad with chicken tenders and a burger with fries to be delivered. The food arrived promptly, HOWEVER, my garden salad with chicken tenders was doused with the flaming hot sauce when my order was distinctly for honey mustard dressing and TAME sauce for the chicken. Immediately I called the store and advised the woman whom I spoke with that either this was some sick joke (if I requested ‘tame’ sauce it is because flaming spicy sauce does not agree with me) or if the kitchen staff was incompetent. While the woman was apologetic, it was a waste of my money and a complete loss of appetite, as well as a waste of time for the delivery driver that came all the way to delivery the terrible food. I have a strong suspicion the meal was foiled intentionally. This food is for the birds.

I never write reviews but I noticed that this place has a lot of bad reviews so as a loyal customer I feel obligated to write one. Now I will say that I recently started ordering from them so perhaps something has changed and they stepped it up. Ive order from here once or twice every month since January and I have NEVER had a negative experience. I only order delivery and I usually order online via the website. The delivery isn’t super fast but it hasn’t been an issue either, the food has consistently gotten here hot and delicious. I always order the boneless wing basket but I’m really excited to try some other things. My favorite flavors are the garlic parm and honey q. Ive also had the cool ranch, lemon zinger, and thai chili and they are all very good. I highly recommend that everyone gives this place a try at least once, this place is a very solid 4-​star leaning towards 5.

Four of us placed an order for pick-up…what an unpleasant experience placing the order on the phone… Strike 1. Strike 2 ordered items that were on there mailer with a special price… guess what, when we picked up the order the regular menu price was rung up. If you are going to advertise a special HONOR IT!!! Strike 3, very rude employees! Too bad because the wings are pretty good and the shrimp is delicious as well. If you want customers to return you not only have to have a good product you need to treat the customers with respect and hospitality.

The best part is they’re open late. The wings are scrawny and overpriced, which is the reason for the lower rating. It’s great they have all the different flavors and you can ask to taste the sauce first. The burgers seem to be going down in quality. I’ve always had great service. It’s listed here they close at midnight, but I’m sure they’re open until 1 am, unless they have new hours.

Just ordered 50 wings. Wasabi teriyaki, honey mustard, and hot honey teriyaki. All three were pretty good. I will definitely order from here again. Not too spicy though, next time I’ll try the hotter ones

Wing Zone does have some great wings, but do not depend on them for your order.
I saw all the previous reviews and noted most of the less favorable had to do with their delivery. We decided to circumvent that and pick up our order. Used the button via Unilocal to place the order. Turns out it takes you to EatStreet to place the order.
Rec’d an email confirmation that order was placed and sent the husband out to pick up dinner. Upon arriving 25 minutes later, not only was order not ready, but they couldn’t even find the order.
Turns out the restaurant is only capable of receiving orders placed using EastStreet via fax. But their fax machine is broken! WHAT? That’s absurdly inefficient with today’s technology. If nothing else, THERES AN APP FOR THAT!
Restaurant wanted us to pay AGAIN for the order. Um, NO.
Did get the food (without paying again). And it was good. But I’d never depend on Wing Street for food or EatStreet for delivery of food for business purposes or a party.

Good wings, a little small and they should have vented to go boxes to keep them crispy for delivery. Mango fire sauce is yummy.

This place is unacceptably bad.
For my last order, I ordered three different types of wings, but they only delivered two. The person who delivered my order forgot to bring my copy of the receipt, blamed it on the restaurant. Whatever.
On top of that, the boneless wings are practically inedible. Gross. Gross. Gross.
Want wings? Just order Dominos or something else, because the quality of this food is unacceptable.
You would think that a place that specializes in wings could make an edible product, but no such luck here.

WINGZONE DOESN’T MAKE IT RIGHT WHEN IT’S WRONG!
A week ago I placed a very large order for boneless wings for a holiday party. I was very pleasantly surprised because they not only arrived early, but were hot and delicious. The order was accurate and I was ready to post a 5 star review on this site. They truly exceeded expectations during a very busy time for them I am sure.
HOWEVER… I just placed an order that took well over an hour to arrive because the driver apparently took a wrong turn and he spent 30 minutes driving the totally wrong direction before he finally found his way. I live 2.2 miles from the store and it is an easy 5 min or less drive via the highway, one exit on and right back off.
Of course the food arrived cold. I immediately wrote on the receipt (and told the driver) to have the owner call me. After waiting a while I contact Eat24 where I placed the order and they called the store. I asked for but did not receive a $ 5 discount. In addition, they forgot one item in the order (I paid for a «basket» which should have included fries but they were missing). To ad insult to injury, the owner would not even refund the difference!
Lucky for me because I ordered from Eat24 and not the cheapskate owner directly, they were able to reverse the delivery charge and the tip (but could not otherwise discount the order without permission of WingZone).
To Eat24: I recommend you drop WingZone until they act responsibly when they mess up.
To the corp office of WingZone: Perhaps your Alexandria VA unit needs some «Undercover Boss» to see why their service is so inconsistent.
To the owner of the Alexandria location: Be accountable! When you mess up a very small discount and apology goes a long way to prevent reviews like this.
To future customers: Be aware that you have a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of getting an outstanding experience but if they mess up don’t expect them to «make it right» by you.

Do not eat here! The food is okay but the service is absolutely awful. The worst part is that if they do make a mistake the employees are not apologetic and I will never give them my service again.

Who doesn’t like wings, and I love their onion rings too. My only complaint? Driver asking for a tip! There is a charge for delivery, and you want me to tip you as well? Seems rather forward and rude. That of course eliminated even the slightest guilt about not tipping. I don’t assume someone will tip me for doing my job! Very rude… But good food.

First time ordering from Wing Zone.
Ordered on a Sunday, submitting the order about 2 hours ahead of time for a scheduled delivery at 2:45. I did order online, so I did not have any of the unfortunate interactions that other Unilocalers described from their interactions with staff.
Delivery was about 10 minutes late. For a place half a mile down the road, this was disappointing, but I got my wings by kickoff of the World Cup… so that’s what matters. Aside from the slight tardiness, was very happy with the email updates from Wing Zone’s website. I received the standard, «Received Your Order» note. But I was very pleased to receive not only the «Out for Delivery» notice, but a «Your Order is Being Prepared» email. Pleased with the frequency and consistency of communication.
Got the Buddy Pack, with standard Buffalo Bliss and Honey Q. The wings weren’t super crispy, but the sauces were very good. There was a good deal of sauce in the containers with the wings, which was nice to dip into. Additionally, I was happy that they packaged both the BBQ and Buffalo into separate containers.
Amount of meat on the wings was average. I did not experience the «bare bones» wing situation that other Unilocalers complained about.
I get nervous ordering standard buffalo sauce because often it is devoid of flavor. The Buffalo Bliss however was very good. Tons of flavor. Light heat. Very good.
The Honey Q BBQ sauce was very tasty. Sometimes wing BBQ sauces taste like ketchup with a little vinegar in it. This sauce however had a very nice depth and flavor to it.
Side of mozzarella sticks. Pretty standard. The marinara sauce was good.
Ordered a side of ranch and a side of ‘Hot Shot’ sauce to see how hot their #3 was. Unfortunately, the did not send any ranch. The ‘Hot Shot’ sauce has a good deal of heat, and was very tasty as well.
If you can’t tell, I’m quite picky. But this order gets 4 stars because the wings were the closest to wings I’m used to from upstate NY.

Overall a good experience.
So I was at a Traditional Latin Mass at St Rita’s in the Del Ray neighborhood a couple of weeks back. By the second ablution, I was getting a bit hungry. So after Mass, I whip out my iPhone and place an order at the nearby Wing Zone.
My order was for some boneless wings and mozzarella sticks. I walk over there and head in. The order was just about ready, so I called an Über. That takes me home, and I eat my food. Good stuff all around.
My flavors were the buffalo regular and the garlic buffalo. Both good. I’ve got to get that nuclear sauce one of these days.
I’ll give it a four star because it’s exactly what I wanted. I reserve five stars for things that are above and beyond my reasonable expectations of a place humming along nicely. I would absolutely repeat.

Got wings here after playing basketball last week. I always get boneless wings. I tried the Mango Fire and Thai Chilli. The Mango ones definitely had a kick to them. Good size wings with lots of sauce. Fries and the blue cheese were good as well. Will definitely be returning back here.

This store has delivered to my apartment many times in the past, which is 10mins away. In fact, they (illegally) leave their menu and door sings in the building pretty frequently.
Placed my normal order today and a rude woman called some time later that they ‘don’t delivery there.’ When I said they’ve delivered the same order many times, she argued with me. Needless to say, they refuse to deliver any more.
So I was forced to cancel and don’t believe them with their flyers or delivery estimates. It’s all a lie and not worth your time, nor hassle.
