Excellent Customer Service! I needed a last minute truck upgrade and the owner was very accommodating, even with the busy Saturday operations. He called around to local nearby U-Haul’s to accommodate our needs. He was willing to stay open well after closing hours to ensure our needs were satisfied. Again, I highly recommend this U-​Haul service/​location.

I had 2 good experiences here. The staff is friendly, although pretty no nonsense. You accept how much it’ll cost, or you don’t get your item. UHAUL advertises great rates, but that’s partly because they charge you a mileage fee for in town moves for trucks, so check the fine print. They’re still cheaper than many of the other companies though. And you really need to make a reservation as far in advance as possible – between the 25^th and 5^th of the month they run out of trucks and trailers fast.
My first experience with this store was renting a trailer (no mileage fee, so great if you have smaller items and are willing to take multiple trips). I came in around 10 am Friday, waited 10 min in line, was processed, and the trailer was attached to my car. I dropped it off on a Saturday morning, and they helped me unload it.
The second experience was a few weeks later when I was finishing my move. I rented a trailer again for 24 hrs. Same experience renting it – I came in around 11, waited 10 min in line, and they quickly got the trailer hooked up to my car. I realized though mid-​day that 24 hours wouldn’t be enough time – it was going to take me 4 trips to move all my stuff in the trailer instead of the 2 I had estimated. I called the store directly, and they were able to extend my reservation for an additional 24 hours. This was done quickly over the phone. I dropped the trailer off on a Sunday in their parking lot since they were closed, and Monday morning was emailed a receipt which confirmed the 2 day reservation charge and that they had gotten the trailer back without damage.
The only downside is this location is a little tough to find. It’s in a long building built on the hill, and the sign is not in front. You have to drive to the back of the building to find the store front (you’ll see all the uhaul trucks at this point). Had my fiancé not been here before, we probably would have gotten lost. It’s also a smaller location, so they have less options available if you need mattress covers, ropes, or other supplies (which honestly, you shouldn’t buy at UHAUL anyway, they’re a ripoff).

reserved a cargo van online for 10am saturday .
the website says that if you arrive and the vehicle you rented is not available they will reimburse you 50 dollars.
arrived at 10am saturday and the van was not available. fine. I ask for my $ 50.
was informed that i have to call customer service. ok… called, waited on hold for 40 minutes. got tired of it and had stuff to do.
called back monday, waited on hold for 30 minutes. was told that i can’t get the reimbursement because my reservation was too soon to the pick up time… one day before.
i will never use uhaul again.
i already had people set to help move stuff, so it was getting moved one way or another. i went to lowes and rented a pick up truck by the hour. spent almost 120 bucks for gas, mileage and time, and the things i had to move got wet.
