The Little Gym

So after checking out the area kid gyms we finally found this one. We are happy with the location and the cleanliness. Our teacher is great with the kids and keeps them involved but also allows for some exploration time for the little wanderers.
We look forward to spending the winter burning off some energy here!

My son is a regular here and we recently had a birthday party for him at this location. The party was great– there was no ‘down time.’ The kids were engaged and playing the entire time they were in the gym. We provided food and even that portion of the party was timed perfectly and run by the staff. We didn’t have to do anything but show up, have fun, and pay the bill.

This is a great place to hold a birthday party for little kids (we did it at 3 and 4 years). The party itself is an hour and a half, with 1 hour in the gym and 30 minutes for food and cake. There are 1 – 2 staff who lead structured activities in the gym, set to music. I thought everything they did was age appropriate and fun. You can even suggest a theme and they will try to incorporate it.
The staff help set up the party room. They collect the presents, serve the food, cut the cake, and clean up everything! You can bring your own cups, plates, etc – but I suggest using the ones they provide. At both of our parties, we had snacks and cake, but there is an option to order pizza from the local pizzeria.
I thought the staff were great throughout the process. We had to reschedule our original date, but they made it very easy!
So, for parties, this is an excellent choice. The kids can run around and play, and the staff take care of everything!

I appreciate the exposure to difficult skills without the pressure or need to do it. Some kids adapt quicker than others and the little gym is a fun way for my kids to learn what they can do with their bodies at their own pace.

Wish they had one of these for my kids growing up, the only winter options were to go to the mall.
Well organized, parent interactive without pressure and solid educational goals, though the parents may not care… just take my kid for the hour and give me a break… is probably what some are thinking. Age appropriate expectations, they add music to their movements and gym activities.
The 2 year old Kids especially enjoy the bouncing stage they blow up for a few minutes. Wish it were longer.
Glassed in viewing room. Just wish there was a water fountain in the lobby.
Their fees are around $ 22 for a class, you have to be a member $ 40 to take classes. They do have camps for nonmembers as well.
Missed the Groupon they had offered last month, as well as a December special, ah well, next time.

They were professional, friendly, and provided good service for my little one’s birthday party. I recommend them and may have another party there in the future.
