This review is for the lunch buffet. From reading these reviews I was confused about whether it was self service or they served you. I’ve been 4 times and it’s been mostly self service every time. They are very friendly and will help with soup or telling you which sauce or garnish to put on what. They will also warm up certain desserts like sticky rice. The food is very good and the buffet is a great value at $ 10.95.

My husband and I are very loyal to this place. We love coming here for their buffet lunch. I love their of Thai and their massamun beef curry. They also have great ka pow and my husband always gets their drunken noodles. Their Thai spicy is real Thai spicy so brace yourself for sweating. The ownership is very cordial and nice. Always willing to help out and provide suggestions with the food pairings for the brunch.

Great service! Had the red curry. Not the best I’ve had, but it was still good. Curious about the lunch buffet.

First Thai buffet I have been to in this area. Came to this location before and always been pleasant. The buffet was nice but option was limited and too much«Pork«options than chicken or beef. I understand the cost and profit margin behind why there are too much pork over other meats. Customer service was superb, the server to front door cashier(very funny lady) and manager all working together to make sure the busy buffet goes smoothly. That was my highlight. I just wish they have more non«pork«options in future.

Had the Thai Lemon Grass soup and PadThai with chicken. Both came out hot and they tasted great. Clean bathrooms

Had a late dinner her after work and was pleasantly surprised. Food quality was good for the price points. Service was fast and very friendly. This place is great for the lunch buffet and has nothing«spectacular» but still decent food.

The service was good but the price and quality of the food were not so great. I posted a picture of the food we got and specifically want to mention the 8.95 I paid for calamari. It was imitation! The food was ok otherwise but nothing that you could t find at any other Thai place.

The quality of food here is consistently good. We have never had any surprises(apart from some sauces being under-packed). There might have also been some variation in the quantity of tofu in some deliveries, but the quality was pretty high. Their drunken noodles are scrumptious and I really like their dumplings and crispy rolls. These are always fresh. Also, in recent times… I have started ordering online for faster delivery and this way, I don’t have to communicate my credit card information over the phone and be concerned that the numbers are repeated back to me. Finally, their delivery estimated time is 45 mins, but I have usually received my food in about 30 mins. Good to have this place in our neighborhood.

Had some stuff delivered to my hotel. Food was average. Delivery time was acceptable. I may try them again next time I’m in the area.

My husband and I got a groupon for this place and we had a GREAT dinner! Our server was super nice and speedy. Our food was delicious and it is really reasonably priced. We had calamari, pad thai, and curry … it was all yummy! We had the thai ice cream for dessert and it was to die for! So good! We would definitely go back and recommend this place to friends!

We have eaten there 3 times, twice on Sat eve and once Sat afternoon for the buffet, and each time the restaurant was practically empty, so I assume that most ppl use them for take out. The Staff: Very attentive and friendly. Sometimes a little too attentive :) Drinks were always topped off! The Food: Seems very fresh. Chicken is sliced thinly and tender. It’s real… not the mushy junk sometimes found… Fresh crispy veggies and herbs. The Buffet: Actually, I would describe this as a multi-course meal. The food is served to you, not set up on a buffet line. The day we were there, it included Tom Yum soup, Ground chicken salad, pork skewers, green salad, Massaman Beef, Kapow seafood, Chicken in chili sauce, stir fry vegetables, Thai omelet, dessert and fruit. The price is 15.95, not 10.95, as advertised, but it is still an excellent value for all you can eat. Good quality and the food is fresher than you would find on most buffet lines. The only drawback is if you were hoping for a quick meal… nope.

About a 1 – 1.5: My co-workers and I came here for lunch, as it was mentioned that they had an AYCE buffet during the week. I was really excited to try this place out as I’ve passed by it on numerous occasions. The restaurant itself is off of Route 1, and they offer a ‘serviced’ lunch buffet — meaning, it’s not a self-serve buffet, but one of the staff members actually serves it for you; you just point and let them put it on a plate. I was a little disappointed, as most of their items were more Americanized Chinese food rather than Thai; the only thing I saw was Chicken Panang, which was a little watered down and had no hint of peanut in taste. There was fried fish, a teriyaki chicken of some sort, fried rice, and some crispy crab rangoon. I personally was not a fan of the ‘served’ lunch, as I first wanted to try only a sample of the items before honing in on the favorites, but the server put an overly-generous portion of each of the item(even though I requested only a dollop!!!) in which most ended up being a waste T___T I wasn’t really liking any of the items, as it just was bland and unflavorful, so with that first round, I was pretty much done. Another co-worker decided to order a la carte — Pad Thai with tofu. The tofu sizes were monstrous, and I thought it was pretty funny in seeing such huge blocks of tofu in the dish! I’m glad I was able to try this place out, but would not go back! +‘serviced’ lunch buffet +large ‘tofu blocks’ for vegetarian options(ex. Pad Thai) +food on the bland side

When four of us left at least ½ of our meals on the plates, mine virtually untouched, that should have been a clue to the lady who came and asked if we liked the food. Short answer: Nope, not really at all. I had a peppered steak with rice and it was chewy, I mean like not ever want to experience this again chewy. The rice seemed off too, and I’ll admit– I’m no expert when it comes to Thai cooking, but I think it shouldn’t rival my old memories of a TV dinner. It could use a cleaning inside and out.

My husband and I have ordered take out from here on a few occasions, but this 5-star review is for the Brunch Buffet. First, the staff is SO friendly and attentive. They were very happy to explain all the dishes(ingredients, spice level, sauce pairings, etc). At least 3 different staff members checked in and offered dish suggestions. This is a family-owned business, and the dynamic of the staff reminded me of my own family(«Eat more! Try this!»). Second, the buffet selection is wonderful. Two of the dishes were behind the buffet and prepared in individual plates. This experience helped me discover a few more Thai dishes that I wouldn’t have thought to order from the menu. My favorite today was the beef masaman. My husband loved the ramen and pork dish the staff prepared behind the counter. As we left the restaurant, the executive chef jested, «Hey! You didn’t try my papaya salad!» Our honest reply was, «Next time!» We will definitely be back. [Allergy side note: My husband is allergic to peanuts, and they separate the peanuts off to the side, so he was able to eat everything.]

I felt like having some fried fish and sweet rice with mango so we stopped by on our way home one evening. The small size fish was actually big enough to feed 3 – 4 people. The food was great the the service wonderful. Definitely going there for lunch buffet next time.

This is a solid go-to for out Thai takeout. We have never eaten in the restaurant. The folks here are very friendly, both when they take your order and when they deliver. We have probably ordered from here 10 times in the last year, and keep going back when the TTO(Thai Take Out) mood strikes. It does seem that if you want to ensure that your food is spicy, you need to specifically ask for that. Good Stuff They have always delivered quickly, even when their estimate was for a greater amount of time. Friendly staff who will explain things to you or help you customize your order. Good Pad See Ew and drunken noodles Eh The food can be inconsistent. There are times, like tonight, when my noodles and tofu are wonderfully seasoned, and other times when I needed to add my own seasoning to very bland food. Maybe it depends on who is in the kitchen?

This place had a really good deal for a thai buffet. I don’t think I have ever gone to a Thai buffet or even came across one, so I was so excited to go to this place and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a good assortment of food and the service was decent. They had three choices of curry to choose from, eggs rolls, fries wonton, fried rice, vegetarian pad thai, beef, chicken, pumpkin pie, apple pie, fruits, and different thai salads. Everything was decent and service was good too. They were nice, but service was pretty slow. My favorite thing from the buffet was the pad thai. There were some aspects that could use some improvement to make this place even better. If you want thai food then you should go here because you can’t beat the price!

Today my brother and I stopped in to try something new for lunch. My first time here. Not sure about all the other reviews on here but, now the restaurant is called Thai Herb Bistro. Don’t know if they had a name change, management change, or what. I really enjoyed my visit. I liked the incense burning at the entrance, the restaurant décor was really cool, they have three different areas where you can eat; sitting with pillows on the far right, a nice table section in the center, and a modern eclectic table section on the far left. The buffet looked good; very colorful and nice assortment of food to choose from. My brother and I sat in the far left section. Plenty of light coming into the restaurant and the music was light yet energetic. I felt peaceful. There were 4 other tables occupied with other customers when we came in. The waitress greeted my brother and I, we ordered some hot tea and some water. And, then we headed straight for the bar. I can’t tell you everything that I had… but, all was quite good. I love spice and I love the heat. The food tasted fresh and cooked very well… not overcooked or undercooked. Alright look… I’m pigged out okay! There are you happy!!! I went back 3 friggen times. Yeah, I know… seriously 3 times. Our bill was $ 18 and some change. The service was very good, the food was outstanding. I really liked the atmosphere… it was uplifting and peaceful. My brother enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere as well. On the way out we noticed the salad bar and fresh cut up fruit… I think if they relocated the salad bar so that it was in line with the buffet(instead of up against another wall) it would have been a better location. I’ll try the food on that the next time I come in. Lastly, I think this would probably be a cool place to bring a dinner date. Stay well!

Very good! Not what I would expect from a buffet! This is pretty much the first Thai Buffet I ever went to. Unilocal showed it as closed so we had a backup restaurant just in case. The buffet satisfied my vegetarian like needs and met my carnivore partners need as well! I took pictures of the buffet. My fav was the Thai basil which had eggplant and tofu. I love that at a buffet I don’t hafta pay extra for vegetables to go with the Thai basil because duh lol we’re at a buffet. The mixed vegetables had shrimp and I eat those sometimes or go around it and attack the Broc, green beans and bokchoy! What could improve and more than likely won’t: the parking is tough, so first come first serve The hot tea was so-so Items not under a lamp were cold(darnit! I wanted to enjoy the pineapple leaks) The buffet was $ 8.95 and included the hot and ice tea which shocked me! It’s a five star restaurant in a three star parking lot! Don’t let this Thai buffet escape you — give it a try! You’ll be glad you did :)

I remember seeing this restaurant on Unilocal about a year ago and checked the rating on Unilocal.Due to the lack of rating, i brushed it off and never really cared to check it out. A week ago I was driving along rt. 1 and happened to see it a long the side of the road. The crazy thing is that I’ve drove up and down that road and never seen it before. With an empty stomach today, I decided to try it out because most american don’t like the spice of authentic thai so i want to give it a go. As my boyfriend and I drove up to the restaurant apparently my front right tire was stuck on the manhole while pulling up the park. I almost left because I didn’t want to eat at a place with a bad taste in my mouth. When I walked in there’s a huge picture of Thai King #5 which is the favorite king among thai people. The place have 3 – 4 different settings and I was drawn into thai traditional type of seating toward the right hand side of the restaurant as you walk in. And the rating began… — The ceilings has some water damage several locations which was not very attractive. — The restaurant décor has some thai touches which makes me feel like I was in thailand. — The food presentation isn’t that impressing — Pad Thai doesn’t seem like its properly made, no color, too sweet and very watery. — Floating noodle is one of the best in NOVA — Fresh garden roll sauce was delish! — waitress doesn’t seems like she know too much about thai food but she’s super friendly and fun to talk to. — They sale taco outside which is ODD to me. Just… weird… really… strange… I don’t really cares what most reviews say but Over all I enjoyed the food and experience. My boyfriend is 50⁄50. I’ll be back i don’t know about him though. whatever… i’ll make him come back with me.
