I’m a little unsure about the previous reviews to this Subway. Never had a bad experience here. Get over yourselves people. The ladies that work there have never been anything but courteous to me. One reviewer mentioned they were skimpy on the meat that has never been the case. I have had the exact amount of meat in my sandwich that is deemed by Subway co to be the right amount of meat. Hell for the steak and cheese its freaking measured and weighed to meet the company’s standards.

This place is hit or miss. My boyfriend and I go here when we need something quick, but we’re never very pleased. Most of the people that work here are extremely friendly, however, Mirna(an employee, that is unfortunately there ALL the time) is UNBELIEVABLY rude. She speaks to customers terribly and snaps at them when they ask questions. Not only that, but she aggressively(it sounds funny, but it’s so true) throws toppings onto your sandwich making it look anything but appetizing. She has an awful attitude and is completely careless. I’m sick of people working in customer service positions that ARENOT good with customers. You might work at Subway, but I would have the utmost respect for you if you were kind to me and/or the other people that come into your store. Take some pride in what you do. I refuse you buy anything if she’s the only one working. AWFUL!

I don’t even want to give one star. We live in the Carlyle apartments so on my day off my husband and I decided on going and trying out the subway in our neighborhood. First and the last time i’m going there. I just can’t stand rude people. This lady is ready to get my order. So I said that i want foot long italian bread. Then I asked if its still $ 5. She asked me what meat I want, I thought she didn’t hear me so I asked her the same question again. This time she literally screamed with an attitude asking me what meat I want. Then she noticed my face changed after she screamed and added«depend what meat». I just don’t understand why can’t you answer the damn question in the first place and how in the world you gonna be rude if obviously you chose working there and have an interaction with people every day. The portions of the meat is super small. I thought I was eating a bread with veggies. Anyhow, DONOTGOTHERE, unless you don’t mind rude people.

I live in the apartments above this Subway so it’s convenient, but this is the last time I’ll ever go to this one! They’re very cheap on the meat. I bought a meatball sandwich and it only had 2 meatballs. The people that work there have serious attitude. The only positives are that it’s clean and has free wi-fi. I advise you to drive a little further and go to another Subway.

I come here often. The subs aren’t that great, but when you have limited options you make do! The service is hit or miss. Most of the regular ladies who work here are so sweet, and make the assembly line a pleasant experience. One or two of the ladies are not friendly at all. The freshness factor here is hit or miss. You have to ask whether the cookies were baked that day-sometimes they’re 2 days old. Again, if you get the regular two ladies who work here, you’re in an out with a smile on your face. If you get some of the other employees, the line will move slowly, the employees will be curt with you, and you’ll just want to move along with your day. The one thing that bugs me is it seems these same two one or two ladies who aren’t that friendly always ask me without fail if my husband and I are paying together. We’re an interracial couple. Who comes in often. And you see us often. The store can be completely empty, we walk in together, order together, and she will ask us if we are together without fail. Not saying she has to notice we are both wearing wedding rings, but seriously she waits on us so often it’s just getting old now for her to keep asking.

It’s pretty much what you would expect from Subway. The staff is friendly and they are very efficient in making sandwiches.

Convenient and clean! If you speak English there is a huge language barrier here. Nothing wrong with that though it’s just frustrating at times.

On the surface, this Subway appears cleaner, better, and more friendly than any other Subway I’ve been to. However, I have now been twice and subsequently been sick twice. I will not be making this mistake again.

1.5 stars maybe. The sandwich was soggy even though I asked that it be toasted. They barely put any cucumbers on it. I get four veggies on my sandwich — lettuce, onion, banana peppers and then lots and lots of cucumbers. When I asked for extra cucumbers, they put the same amount that every other subway starts out with and wouldn’t do more. The chicken tasted old to me and it was really chewy. I get the exact same sandwich at every Subway I go to and this was one of the worst ones I’ve eaten. I wouldn’t go back here. I’d rather go to Froots right next door. Better, quicker service and better, fresher sandwiches and wraps.

Love that they have wifi and most of the time on the 2TV’s espn. I get my sport fix in the middle of the day. The ladies that run this location are always kind, smiling and happy. There is another one two blocks away from the office, I much rather walk the 4 an half blocks down the street to enjoy the spot

So, I ended up at subway and was yet again reminded of why to avoid this chain in general. Only thru marketing miracles($ 5 footlong and Jered) has this company stayed alive. My sub was mostly bread as usual. My friend asked for some Ranch on his sub, instead got a gallon of mayo on it. Also, while eating at the tables outside, we had to get up TWICE so one of the workers could move trash cans… Really?! Your gonna roll overfull smelly trashcans around your business.

I’m at this Subway after the gym almost daily. The ladies are really cool, and it seems like the same 2 women are there no matter what time I go. They let me test out my horrible Spanish while ordering sandwiches, and in return they give me all the shredded lettuce my tiny sandwich can hold lol

With most chain restaurants you pretty much know what to expect. Unfortunately this one was worse than your normal Subway. The bread was shredded in the middle, so everything kept falling off the top, they didn’t cut it(maybe due to the shredding problem), the person that made the first part of the sandwich had such an accent I had to ask 4 times what she was talking about(she apparently was saying«Toasted?», and not that accents are bad, but if you work on a front line with consumers, they need to be able to understand you), I had to ask three times just to get a decent amount of onions, and this particular location only has four foot-long subs for $ 5. I paid 6 which I was ok with — it’s cheap and easy. Everything compounded really made me decide that it’s not worth it to go back. There are plenty of other(better) options around that are just as inexpensive and timely.

3.5*** Ok, so I had a sandwich made by the same person again today. 5.5 black olives down the middle of my 6″ sub, along with 1 line of mustard and mayo, also down the middle. So I have an awesome middle of my sandwich, and ok sides, which is pretty dicey for a 6 inch sub!

IMHO: This upscale Subway is unique, but unless you want gelato there are better places nearby. (+)Pro’s &(-)Con’s: +Gelato! +Very stylish and clean for a Subway +Comfy chairs & a TV +Friendly staff +Cheap, large portions –It’s a Subway –Subs are bland –Buns are never crispy # of Visits: ~10 My Experience: It pains me to give this Subway two-stars because I do honestly agree with Rob that the staff is very friendly, they offer Gelati, and the décor is the best I’ve seen for this chain(I do believe this is one of the new«upscale» subways that are being tested out). The subs they offer though are so bland and uncreative that I find myself confused… If they are a national low-priced sub chain then why can’t they offer similar quality food as a place like Potbelly’s? The point of my two-star is not to trash this particular Subway, but to question the direction and quality of the chain as a whole. My hope is also to entice some people to try out Uptown Market & Café which is one building east. Check out my review on this deli to see why.

I’ve been to this Subway a bunch of times now, and the service I receive has been consistently excellent. The staff is always courteous and prompt. They always greet you as you come in the door. This, coupled with the added of amenities of a «Subway Café», make this a good place to pop in for a quick bite. I know it’s just a Subway, but the better service and nicer environs make this a much, much better experience.
