I had been on a quest to find and an Ophthalmologist for my father for months, he has vision issues.
While at a routine visit at my father’s primary doctor I heard his name and how he was «across the street». I did a Google search and thought — what the heck he is across the street.
I called to ask about cataract surgery protocol and was directed to a lovely young woman I’ll call «S.» The information she gave me was detailed and she answered every question I had. I felt as if I was given a consultation over the phone. Keep in mind this was my first «contact» with the Schefkind staff.
In the past when I have made contact with any doctor they questioned me and I felt probed. «S» really cared and I could tell by the tone in her voice and the time she took from her busy day to take my call. She is the reason I decided to bring my father here.
I thought if «S» is this efficient and professional surely the Doctor is golden. And I was right.
I can’t recall the last time a doctor called my father to see how he was doing.
Dr. Schefkind is silently excellent and that applies to everyone in his staff.
