I go there from time to time for a late lunch/early dinner – usually on a Friday as a reward for commuting in this area. I get the same thing each time: a bacon burger, medium-well with fries and a tall draft Yuengling. I always just go into the bar and get great service. The burger is good and the beer is cold. The price is reasonable and the restaurant is clean. I’ve always gotten exceptional service from the bartenders. Looking at the other reviews, perhaps my experience is different because I go at slow times and not peak hours? I’m not a fancy person, so take that for what it is worth. A burger, fries and a beer are good enough for me and this place hasn’t disappointed me yet.

Had a good meal at the bar of blackened tilapia and bourbon salmon. Service was ok but went into the toilet when we ordered dessert. Waited 20 minutes for a strawberry shortcake and finally cancelled order. Manager took it off check but offered no apology. Always enjoyed Ruby Tuesday, but service at the bar was extremely disappointing. Time to look for another location.

used to come here often, 2 – 3 times a month, as it is in the neighborhood. went there a few days ago and waited and waited and waited for our waitress. Three wait staff buzzed by us a few times. Maybe there were 9 occupied tables. one waitress who ignored me twice and walked by us four times as she attended to two other tables finally came up to us after 20 minutes to ask for our order. She had two tables to wait on. She could have said be right with you, or just a minute. Nothing. She flat out ignored us. We had already decided Ruby Tuesday wasn’t for us and to go to Mike’s in Springfield. There are plenty of restaurants in the Kingstown/Springfield area. You can be sure we will be visiting them and not Ruby Tuesday ever again.

My first experience here at Ruby Tuesday was crazy, The bartender Josh was very unprofessionally! Loud, speaking bad about the brand. He need a coaching moment or two! Kept checking his watch, really made me feel like he I was rushed!

Probably the worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. I know I shouldn’t have high expectations of a chain restaurant but it was very bad. A lot of the veggies at the salad bar were soggy and gross. A few of our orders came out wrong and one plate had chicken that was undercooked, partially raw. Will never go back.

Okay we wondered why there was available parking on a Friday night. We can’t get Ruby Tuesday at home so we try to hit it when we travel. The steak and lobster were very good but they misunderstood and only put 1 order in for the 2 of us. I did ask if they could lower the volume on the music which they did but still had difficulty hearing conversations across the table. Although the food was good I would not go to this particular location again

The table we were sat at was filthy. I asked to sit at another table and the place was only half full. The lady told me they didn’t have anymore tables only booths. We decided to leave instead… Passing five or six empty clean tables on the way out.

The food was the only thing decent at this place. Wait not even that… The biscuits they gave us was dry and stale as hell! Let it be known that we came to this restaurant on a Saturday night expecting it to be busy but once we entered, there was a total of like 3 tables in the restaurant, but after eating here, I know why… Anyways, the service was what was most angering about this place. My date and I arrived after being sat down, we were kept waiting for about 10 minutes before being approached about what we wanted to order… On top of that, after ordering, we waited for about 20 minutes till our food came, and when it did, we didn’t see our waitress for the whole time we ate… I actually had to get up and ask for our check… Decent food, terrible service.

This trip was just going down the hill every minute we were in there. My husband ordered a steak and I ordered fried chicken with fries. We asked for A1 sauce upon getting our food, and ketchup and mayo as well. My husband was ¾ done with his steak when he came around to check if everything was okay. We said we still haven’t got the A1 sauce as well as the ketchup and mayo. He goes«I am so sorry that it hasn’t made it out yet.» And he goes to grab it. I don’t know what he meant by «didn’t make it out» like it was a food. He had about 3 tables that he was attending. Seemed like he was overwhelmed. And after a while, I finally for my ketchup and mayo but at that point my fries was already cold and ready to be boxed regardless.

The food is sub-par(to be expected, to an extent) but what really got me was the lack of cleanliness and a waiter who seemed to be a bit confused as to where he even was.

The worst. Ruby Tuesday is one of those places I always forget why I don’t like until I go there again. I don’t even know where to begin. The lot always looks packed here, so I always think«well how bad could it be???» But in all honesty, I think the lot is packed for the driving range. I’m honestly not sure how this place stays open, it’s really that terrible. First of all, the salad bar is nothing special. The vegetables were all fresh and the salad bar was clean, but the selection was pretty poor. The croutons however were DISGUSTING. They were not only bitter, but crunchy AND chewy at the same time. Huh??? I ordered the bourbon chicken. I’m not afraid of spicy barbecue sauce, but this was sweet and excessively spicy at the same time– and it was not a good match. The piece of chicken I got was absolutely smothered in sauce, and it was microscopic portion. I also got the grilled zucchini which was okay, but I got like 5 small slices. I probably could have fit everything on my plate in my mouth at once if I’d tried. The appetizer bread is like some kind of cornbread experiment gone wrong, and is the size of a small cookie. We got exactly one for each person in our party because they were«all out» at 6pm on a Sunday. The restaurant, for the record was about 40% full. The waiter was nice and kept coming back to make sure everything was okay, which kind of made me think he knew something we didn’t– or maybe he’s just used to it NOT being okay. They should just close this terrible chain and put in a better restaurant. It’s a a shame such a great location is being wasted on such terrible food.

When someone suggested Ruby Tuesday’s, I was like, are you serious? Why would you want to go there? Really? Can’t we go anywhere else? The night started off with me ordering an unsweetened iced tea and getting a sweetened iced tea. I thought about getting the salad bar but changed my mind after seeing how limited it was. I decided instead to get the spinach artichoke dip with«unlimited chips». The server dropped it off at our table and said something like«is it all for you?» I assume he was joking because I was given a ¾ empty bowl of dip. It had maybe 4 tablespoons of dip in it, and it was almost all some kind of cream sauce. It was slightly warm on the outside and cold in the middle. Cold. The chips were all stale. Not a few days stale, but weeks stale. When I ate them, they bent in my mouth like rubber instead of going crunch. My hickory chicken was overly spicy and small. I ordered the cheese grits and rice sides. The cheese grits were pretty bland and tasted like nothing. My plate was missing the rice so I had to ask them to give it to me since I forgot. The restaurant was 2⁄3 empty(on a Sunday night) which should have been a red flag. The table next to ours was also clearly unhappy with their meal as they were complaining loudly to the waiter.

I remember loving the salad bar at this place, and if all you were after was salad it would be a good choice. I got the New York steak my husband got a ribeye and both steaks tasted like they were soaked in chemicals. They were tender enough but the flavor was not that of food. my father in law got the seafood plate and he thought it was just ok. they replaced our steaks with burgers and that was a much better choice. At least it didn’t taste like chemicals.

So, this is the deal. I been coming to this place for some time. The food has been spot on and the service as well. Today, I was a little disappointed. I ordered the full rack of ribs, baked potato and the rice. The delivery of the food was slow. The food was ok, one of the half racks was overcooked. As soon the manager notice my disappointment, he rectified right the way. I got one the best ribs ever. :-P and service was better. I give them 4* because this is an isolated incident and they make good, first time this happen to me after multiple times been on this location. This evualation is for the overall not only for one time. I will continue coming to this RT… no question.

Again, I don’t normally comment on chain establishments since they kind of offer the same experiences… but this Ruby Tuesday needs to be shut down and now. It seems they never have enough servers working at this restaurant. Also, the management knows nothing about cleanliness as the floor, tables and chairs are covered with food and stains. Finally, if you should decide to stay and attempt to order a meal, the kitchen is constantly out of whatever menu items you may want. WTF?!? How does this place stay in business? This Ruby Tuesday is in a prime location and could be a real moneymaker since it is next door to Top Golf and in busy Kingstowne. Too bad…

Came here on a Friday evening after Thanksgiving. It is just far enough away from the stores that it was not crowded. Typical Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar. Ingredients were fresh. Server was very attentive. The two burger sliders were just enough with the salad bar. Food came out nice and hot.

I have to say. I’m indifferent with this restaurant. It’s nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing amazing. The food is so so, but for a large group like the one I was with tonight it works out well. The endless salad bar was underwhelming and lacking in many items even during the dinner rush. Our server seemed to be annoyed and frustrated with the number of people –11– and just not interested in anything to do with our table, which is unfortunate because we were the largest party in the establishment. I don’t think I’ll be rushing back anytime soon.

Oh Unilocal, this is what I get for not following your guidance. I saw two stars but was at Top Golf next door and thought«well if I get a steak and a salad bar it can’t be that bad, right?» The answer is yep it’s truly awful. Not generic chain bad, I mean probably the worst meal I’ve had anywhere in a long time. To start, the place has the feel of a dying chain restaurant. The kind of place where everything is old, outdated, and not quite up to par. The salad bar lettuce was slightly brown, the tomatoes weren’t quite ripe, the salad dressings were contaminated with each other etc. I was eating my mediocre salad bar salad and suddenly I felt what appeared to be a small, very thin slice of onion in my mouth. I pull it out to discover that nope it’s a hair. There was a freaking long disgusting hair in my salad! I told the waitress and she apologized and informed the manager who pro forma apologized, asked if I want a salad from the back, and went upon his way. Before the hairy situation, I had ordered a sirloin steak and baked potato. I was thisclose to leaving after that issue but stayed to eat my entrée. The steak was edible but unremarkable and the baked potato was severely over cooked. Those microwave in the bag potatoes you buy at the store are vastly superior. After finishing my meal I get my bill. I wasn’t compensated for the unwanted extra ingredient in my salad and at that point was really wishing I had just left before eating my entrée. After a discussion with a second manager, he agreed to take 25% off my entrée(not the entire bill) and I did tell him I’m not trying to get a free meal here but a hair in your food is disgusting and I’d like a couple bucks off or something. Basically this place appears to survive only because of its location next to Top Golf. There are lots of other places to eat within a short drive so I won’t ever be back here and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else under any circumstances.
