Reynold’s Street Bar and Grill is located off of Duke, adjacent to the 7-Eleven, across from Sunoco. This neighborhood bar is usually opened, rain or shine(even during a blizzard!), offering beer, wine, ciders, an extensive menu(appetizers, pastas, Greek specialties, etc.), as well as sports(football, ice hockey, basketball, baseball, and soccer) shown on their HD TVs. The hubs and I were sick of being cooped up, so we decided to go check out Reynolds for an early lunch. We tried the Buffalo Wings(you can choose either bone-in or boneless, and the sauces available are the traditional Buffalo or BBQ, with your choice of bleu cheese or ranch with a side of celery sticks; we opted for naked wings, fried hard, with a side of the buffalo sauce and bleu cheese; these drumettes were super crispy, the perfect size with a nice meatiness; the bleu cheese could be a bit chunkier and more thicker); a Steak & Cheese sub(thinly sliced ribeye with provolone cheese, grilled onions, and extra mayo, this was came on a toasted hoagie and it was pretty okay — slightly bland, but it was not greasy at all, and a healthier version of the steak & cheese; this came with a side of veggies or French Fries(I upgraded to onion rings for a $ 1 extra — these were thick-cut and crispy), with a pickle spear); a Gyro on Pita(seasoned lamb and beef, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, and tons of tzatziki sauce — the gyro meat was okay, but could have been more crispier; the tzatziki sauce was a little runny, as I prefer it more thicker; this came with a side of french fries that were super crispy, and a pickle spear); Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo(this is served with a house salad(fresh mixed greens with your choice of balsamic or ranch; we opted for the latter), and toasted garlic bread(this had more of a pesto sauce on it) — the noodles were slightly overcooked, and there was hardly any creaminess to it — it was more like a light butter sauce with some grilled chicken — I wasn’t really much of a fan of this); and, a small Supreme pizza(loaded to the max with cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, onions, and green peppers — the crust was a little doughy, but crispy, and the toppings were super generous). The place itself is divey, has a little musty smell, but clean overall; lots of locals seem to dig this place. There are some darts that you can play, a nice little booth/dining area, and a little bar in the back. Gigi, who was the bartender and the server, was literally a one-woman-show! She was super sweet, friendly, welcoming, and made sure that all our orders were correct. The hubs and I were pleasantly surprised at how the food was not greasy and was pretty decent for a ‘bar setting’! There’s a private lot available to park your vehicle. +extensive menu with American and Greek fare +ask for Ms. Gigi! :D +open all year round! +darts available +to the east of 7-Eleven, across from Sunoco

My favorite bar in this area. It has that«hole in the wall» feel which I love! All the other places around here are too pretentious and stuffy. The beer is cold, specials are great, and the food is surprisingly delicious!!! The best pizza I have had in Alexandria and I am CRAZY about pizza. The staff is always playful, sarcastic, and have that laid back attitude that I personally love. I wish this place was down the road from me because I do love it. Lots of TVs, darts, ec…

My apartment is next door so it makes it really easy to stop by frequently. Usually here every 2 weeks or so for drinks. Gyros and pizza are good(my fiancée is super picky about her pizza too and she’ll eat it). Beer selection hasn’t changed since I moved here in June. Friendly staff, always pretty quick. This is not the place to bring your next date(and I mean that in the most respectful of ways). This is the place you bring your buddies to watch the game and get cheap drinks and good bar food. Note: The burgers need serious overhaul. I’d rather walk across the street to McDonalds than eat the burgers here. That’s the only food I’ve ever had a problem with though.

Eh. My friend dragged me out here as he goes a lot and it’s one of his favorite bars. It was okay. Service was blah, food was terrible — even by bar food standards. It’s not that big either. Overall, I’d probably go somewhere else if I was back in the area.

Don’t go to this bar. Rude bartender, she told us she can’t serve us because her manager(owner) was around. But the good thing is there is Clyde seven minutes away and they have great staffs, foods and drinks with a good managers.

Great bartenders, good food, good people! I have been coming here for the past couple of years! Christy at the bar is awesome and whoever makes the chili is the best! I have never had a bad meal here. Their pizza is also really good. It’s divey but who cares?!?

This place is a dive, but if you can get over that, you will enjoy the best chicken wings… EVER. My husband and I lived on the same street as the Reynolds Street Bar and Grill for over a year before we ever tried it because it looked so shady — it looks like a sad Pizza Hut put out to pasture. But one night I didn’t feel like cooking or driving far so we went and were amazed by the food… I got the chicken souvlaki(I think, or was it the chicken gyro, can’t remember)…either way — delicious. Great drink specials, too. But the really awesome thing are the chicken wings. They make them there, homemade. So good. My husband and I moved away from that area over three years ago, but the chicken wings are what bring us back…

It’s a dive. Small inside and food is just ok. Service was kind of slow as well. Would rather go to Bungalow Billiards instead.

I would describe RSBG as my local watering hole, walk-able from my house. I go to RSBG to catch sporting events, to get out of my house on snow days, and days when I just don’t feel like cooking. The atmosphere feels a lot like a dive bar. They have pretty good customer service. The servers and bartenders are very friendly. The pizza is surprisingly great! They also serve burgers, pasta, pita, sandwiches, and other american food. If you live in the local area I would definitely suggest it!

The food is just okay but the bartenders are really friendly and provide good service. It has a sorta low key atmosphere. Its everything you would expect in a dive bar.

«Where everybody knows your name… kinda.» I’ve been coming to Reynolds Street Bar and Grill for over a decade now. The good thing is that the staff and owners don’t know that. When I go to a bar, I tend to be a fly on the wall, just an observer with a one and done mentality. RSBG has survived as long as it has because they have built a reputation as a cool neighborhood spot for new comers and regulars alike. They have a solid staff who are very friendly. I watched yesterday as a gentleman entered, ordered something the bar crew never heard of and minutes later, he was drinking it and was extremely happy with his order. Being an ex bartender(Yes, Ruby Tuesdays Bartending counts) I can appreciate going that extra mile instead of the, «I don’t know how to make that, can you order something else» excuse. So they get a star for their attitude and willingness to satisfy. The patrons are pretty friendly as well. I’ve been engaged in some pretty interesting conversations as the location hosts tourists and locals alike. The food is pretty solid and I’ve never had complaints. There’s plenty of parking and I’ve not witnessed any real problems here. I’ll continue to pop in on occasion and drift out without anyone knowing. Well there was that one time that the bartender remembered my name and say«Drive Safe Aaron!» It was nice that they remembered and cared to add that to the salutation, but again… I’d prefer to stay incognegro.

A neighborhood bar that has decent eats with cheap prices, loads of tvs for sports and news and some nice bartenders who are as friendly as your next door neighbor. The beers are available in two sizes and you probably know to always go for the larger size unless you’re not financially smart. I’ve only had the wings but they are tasty nonetheless and their other menu items look solid with excellent prices. The patrons that are regulars probably won’t be happy you’re setting foot into their territory(at least that’s how I felt). Granted I came in wearing a Colts jersey on Sunday and everyone there either roots for the redskins or patriots so you know how they’re going to act. Regardless, not a bad place. I’d stop in again for some good cheap eats, a nice tall beverage and perhaps some glares from those regulars. At least the cute friendly bartenders will make up for it.

Never having been to the United States, I wanted to find myself a quintessentially«American» bar to spend the evening in, and luckily the Reynolds Street Bar & Grill was right next to my hotel. After a day of grandeur in Washington D.C., I was happy to find myself in this wonderful little place. Some reviews describe it as a «dive» and I agree, but I mean that in the nicest of ways. It’s dark, simple and charmingly unpretentious. Bar staff were the perfect blend of professional and friendly. Patrons were a little rowdy(Thursday night football was on), but never in a way that made me feel uncomfortable. There are some places I’ve been where a young woman in a strange country wouldn’t feel comfy drinking alone, but this definitely isn’t one of them. I had Coors and the chicken basket. The fries were passable(perhaps a little underfried?) but the chicken strips were the best I’d ever tasted, and the beers were icy. I wish I’d had the chance to go back and try a pizza, but on my three-day visit I didn’t have the time. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area again.

It is what it is. A dive. It’s an eclectic mix of people with good food, good service, and good prices. Pizza and burgers are good with great tiramasu. I read one guys 1 star review and it could summed up as he was scared leaving despite good food and service but because a black guy was drunk and yelling things at the bar… yeah, people like this use Unilocal and rate a restaurant based on one patron. If you want a cool place that’s friendly to watch sports, play darts, and meet and interesting bunch of people… This is it. If you are closed minded and scared of cultural diversity… stay at home.

Ended up here after being at a brewery down the street and got the impression the patrons would rather not deal with«outsiders». Sad. The staff on the other hand were super friendly and the pizza was decent. Beers are huge and cheap.

«First and last time.» — my wife. Sums it up. Read reviews and decided to give it a try, sadly Reynolds bar and grill wasn’t really given the best chance to prove itself and here’s why, on arrival we sat near the bar where a large black dude was drunk and yelling at ear aching decibels. He was warned he could be «kicked out» that never happened and his behavior continued to ruin our experience. We ordered the Greek sampler which was what were were jonsing for. Platter was good, price OK, drinks were cold and reasonably priced. We would have liked to stay and enjoyed ourselves but sadly this place was ruined by another patron and lack of management action. I shouldn’t have to feel unsafe when I go out. Wife was right First and Last.

This place is right next door to my dump of a hotel and I was craving so I stopped in. The place is a bit rough but just your typical watering hole. The staff is great, and very easy on the eyes. Plenty of tv’s to watch the games too. I only got the wings but they were very good to excellent. Big, crispy with just the right amount of heat. I just wish I had more room to try their pizza which is supposed to be excellent.

Ok, sometimes you return to a place and you recall why you started to come there in the first place. yeah a few improvements some new staff and you’ve stepped back into nostalgia land. I guess that’ show I feel about Reynolds Street now. They have cleaned the place up and brought on such favorite bartenders as Lisa N and Kristie that you can’t help but smile. Sorry, Reynolds, I can’t remember why we had a falling in the first place. But I am willing to give it another shot if you are? Do I here Barry Manalow singing«looks like we made it» on the background? Only time will tell, my rough and tumble friend, only time will tell

Our new neighborhood bar! A good selection of beer, serves food late, plenty of TVS, and seating… I couldnt ask for anything more from my new, walk-able neighborhood bar. The service was great. Both our waitress and the bartender were super nice, and very attentive. The beers are large, which is always good. We came in at about 10:30 on a Sat night and it really wasnt crowded at all. Because I made a decision out of extreme hunger, I had the chicken strips. Dont get me wrong, they were good! Im just usually more adventurous when eating at a new place. The rest of their primarily greek inspired menu does look god though. I look forward to trying more. Ill see you again soon Reynolds!
