Really lovely, quiet little park in Alexandria! We came here for a family photo shoot over the weekend and were really happy with the spot — if you are lookig for some photo locations, check this place out. There are some old abandoned train tracks which make a great backdrop, lots of green and flowers, and a terrific water view (as long as you don’t get the DC water filtration plant in your background!).
There were two larger family picnics/​gatherings going on while we were there, and this seems like a perfect place to host such an event. Lots of bikers and dog walkers, too.
