Just went to this location and had a terrible experience. I was overcharged by almost $ 10 and the cashier was refused to refund the amount. Very disappointed. Please be sure to double check your receipt with posted in-store promotions prior to paying.

The BEAST Cheesesteak is one of the top 5 Subs in the DC Metro. I love it and it’s HUGE!

Since the Jerry’s in Kingstowne is now closed. I must now venture to this one to satisfy my craving when it arises. This isn’t the nicest location. It looks kinda run down and old. They do an ok job maintaining it I suppose. The tables have looked clean on my visits here. Not that I would dine in. I usually just grab to go. The food has been fine. The quality seems like the standard compared to other jerrys locations. I’ve ordered the cheese steak with fries and I also get the small pepperoni pizza for my son since it tends to be thinner it’s easier for me to cut up and feed to him. The small pizza runs about $ 7 and gives u about 6 slices. It’s the perfect size for a toddler. He never finishes the whole thing. Haven’t had any issues with the staff always friendly and polite. Food is made in a timely manner. Guess this will have to be our new jerrys location.

I ordered my lunch online to be picked up. When I got there I was so disgusted with the SMELL that I literally threw my food away. Not to mention that they didn’t even start on the order until I arrived! What was the purpose of me ordering ahead? Everything in me told me not to eat the food. Don’t even bother with this place. You’re better off going to McDonald’s around the corner.

Pretty terrible place. It’s dirty inside. Ordered super cheese steak– it’s all sub roll and not much else. I really liked jerry’s as a teen, even worked at one. As an adult it’s awful, quality of food has really gone down. I’ve been to a couple in northern va, always underwhelmed. I won’t be back or recommend this place.

Hotel has this place in their book for a place that delivers… don’t bother. ICED tea had exactly ZERO ice. They two parts of the order and the garlic cheese bread is allegedly going to take another half hour to deliver, yet they close in 40 minutes. I also couldn’t understand about 2⁄3 of what the people were saying on the phone, the accents were just too thick. And no, I couldn’t give two craps where anyone is from, but cripes, at least get some clear enunciation if you’re going to accept telephone orders. VERY annoying. Oh, and the brownie? So hard it could be used as a brick to build homes. Or a hockey puck. Perhaps a blunt force murder weapon.

Used to go to the Kingstowne location that was always clean, had a larger dining area, and the food was cooked very meticulously. Went to this one and it was the total opposite of the other one. It was old, looked dirty, and the ‘manager’ said he didn’t even know how to process a coupon I had! How could a manager not know how to use a coupon on a register???

I’ve ordered from Jerry’s three or four times. It’s always delivered fast and everything tastes great. The subs are delicious and stuffed full of meat and goodies. My one complaint is that the wings are pretty small for the price. Also, when you order online you get an option of bone-in or boneless wings. I always say boneless but they always bring me bone-in wings, which are fine but not what I asked for. Not really a big deal to me but it might be to you.

My cousin kept ranting and raving about Jerry’s Subs and Pizza’s new cheeseburger sub. I was in the area and I told him I would put an end to his bantering about the sub. So I typed the address in my GPS and I venture off on this quick quest. I finally get there and I put the order in for a regular cheeseburger sub. After about a 10 minute wait, I get my order and sit down. I open the box to reveal my sub and these freaking idiots cooked the burger and chopped the meat up!!! That’s not a cheeseburger sub!!! The burgers are supposed to remain the way they are. I was so pissed, but I didn’t have any choice but to eat the sub anyway. I’m never going back to this location. My cousin told me that the Jerry’s he went to didn’t chop up the meat, so it must be something stupid this location is doing. Ontop of that, the people working behind the counter acted like they didn’t want any business anyway.

These guys are terrible. We’ve ordered several times from them for delivery and we have never received what we actually ordered, or had it delivered on time. Tonight was the last straw. It took 1 hr and 30 minutes to get our food and they messed up my wife’s order, forgot my kids’ fries and didn’t include dressing with my salad. We are finished with Jerry’s Subs.

I am a regular customer and I love dropping by this store. They are great for huge lunch orders when my whole office orders and they always make sure everything is right. Highly recommend the store if you want to make sure your Jerry’s experience is great!

You would think a large order to a ca dealership less then a mile away would be a priority right? Wrong! 1 hour 20 minutes and still nothing! Called and was told driver left already. 15 minutes later(less then a mile away) and still nothing. No chance of having a edible warm food when placing a delivery order from here!

I placed an order for delivery through GrubHub that was completely screwed up. I ordered several items, but the biggest issue was with the chicken salad. According to their menu, the chicken salad comes with veggies(their house salad) and chicken. The salad I actually got included veggies and chicken… and also pork and cheese. I cannot eat pork and I am lactose intolerant… so no cheese for me. Needless to say, this was an issue. I called to complain about the salad and the woman on the phone actually argued with me — that the menu actually says the salad comes with bacon and cheese(it did not). She said that I could get a refund if I called GrubHub. I called GrubHub, who called the restaurant, who denied the refund. Long story short, never again.

My only experience with Jerry’s was the location in Kingstown which recently closed. I really enjoyed the Kingstown location’s pizza and their large dining room. I was seeking another Jerry’s when I found the location on S Pickett St on 10÷15÷15. I was disappointed. The pizza reminded me of a cafeteria pizza. I also thought my large pizza was relatively small(and the price did not reflect the smaller size). Although, the small area the restaurant has to eat in is clean, it feels cheap.(I don’t expect a Jerry’s to be fine dining. I don’t want to feel like I am not at a truck stop either.) In a nutshell, I will continue to like Jerry’s. I don’t think this restaurant reflects the brand well.

I am a local who has been enjoying Jerry’s for quite some time and have always been happy with their food and service throughout various locations. However, last night I was at work for a client on Eisenhower Avenue, and I was the only person manning the office. I decided to place an online order for dinner, and Jerry’s came up as an option since they are less than a mile from where I was working. I placed the order and the food was delivered within 40 minutes or so. However, when the driver arrived he said that the estimated total I had received by e-mail was off by $ 0.20(I was quoted 20 cents less by e-mail), and that it did NOT include the tip. Being alone and needing to get back to work, I didn’t want to argue though I was certain I had included the tip in my calculations, and those calculations(based on delivery address, order, etc) are then e-mailed to the customer before the delivery is made. I told the driver again that I thought the estimate included the tip(I didn’t care about the extra 20 cents), and he again said that the tip was not included. I gave him more cash and he handed me my order. When I got back to my computer and checked the e-mailed estimate receipt, it DID in fact include the tip. I wrote back to Jerry’s using their«How Did We Do?» link at the bottom of my order receipt and explained the situation. It’s now the next business day and I have yet to receive acknowledgement of the discrepancy. I don’t expect a refund, but I did expect some sort of statement saying that they apologize for the error or for the driver’s mistake in reading the receipt. They get orders in real-time through that online order system. Wouldn’t they get a timely notice of my message about the driver making off with two tips? On top of the driver lying about the tip, the food was subpar compared to the other half-dozen Jerry’s I’ve eaten at throughout my life. This Jerry’s location wasn’t so bad when I was a kid, but it’s been a long time and perhaps there’s new management? In any case, it’s a shame that both the online ordering AND the food delivered was a disappointment.

I work from home and use the EAT24 site for lunch on many occasions. Today I thought I would give Jerry’s a shot, I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered their Italian Salad which was awesome, it could be a meal by itself, totally worth getting, and I had a regular size meatball sub with green peppers and sautéed mushrooms. Fantastic. The delivery was quick, the order was correct and I thoroughly enjoyed lunch. So, I have two shout outs here, Jerry’s is great and so is Unilocal’s EAT24. I love being able to pay in advance and include a tip. The delivery guy delivers and leaves, no hassles.

About a 3.5: I’ve never been to a Jerry’s before, so I was pretty excited in trying them out finally. I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews on them, so I was at first, a little apprehensive. However, I actually enjoyed my experience! :P Jerry’s has been around since ’54, and they’re known for their pizzas and their cheesesteaks. Their menu offers a variety of cheesesteaks(the Philly, the Original, the All American, the chicken Philly, and the Pepper Jack), subs(Italian cold cut, turkey breast, tuna, ham & cheese, crispy cheese, etc.), ‘NY style’ pizzas(cheese, pepperoni, meat supreme, etc.), burgers, flatbreads, appetizers(fries, onion straws, mozzarella sticks, etc.), and healthy alternatives(salads). They also have daily ‘specials’(Mondays are for $ 5.99 large pizzas; Tuesdays are for 2 regular cheesesteaks for $ 17.98; Wednesdays are ‘Kid’s Meal Wednesdays,’ Thursdays are for free 44oz beverages, and Sundays are for ‘Super Box Sundays’). I tried a small Philly, which came with both American and Provolone cheese; I opted to only get extra mayo and grilled onions(you can add lettuce and tomato, too) — I thought it was pretty solid — the bread was very soft, and the cheesesteak itself was tasty. I also got a side of the Jerry’s Famous Fries(not a fan of these, as I thought they were seasoned(as they looked seasoned in the picture)), Jerry’s Onion Straws(good with the ranch sauce), and the Fried Jalapenos(nice and salty, and not too spicy; also great with the ranch sauce). There was also some type of a mambo-type of sauce(the Southwestern dipping sauce) for the onion straws that I was not a fan of. We also tried a small cheese pizza, which was just okay. The employees in there were friendly and professional, and if you dine-in, they deliver the food to your table. The place itself is a little dingy and the condiment bar is a little messy, but it didn’t affect our dining experience. There were a lot of call-in and carry-out orders going on, so it’s a pretty happening place. +the Philly cheesesteak +fried jalapenos

The restaurant experience was ok but what was an immediate foul was the fact that the food preparer was wearing flip-flop sandals with no socks in the kitchen while preparing food. I’m pretty certain that is unsanitary and it is a health violation. If I would have noticed it before I ordered I would have immediately walked out. The food was edible but defiantly not as good as some of the other Jerry’s Pizza & Subs I’ve been to before. I think that it was completely overpriced for the quality of the food. The pizza sauce was terrible and wasn’t seasoned very well. The food did come out hot which was about the only good thing about the restaurant. Although one of the employees was very helpful, I wish I knew his name but they weren’t wearing name tags so I couldn’t tell you who was working there tonight. Finally, the atmosphere wasn’t the best. The floor needed sweeping and the kitchen from what I could see wasn’t too bad but you could tell that it may needed to be wiped down a bit. I wouldn’t recommend this place and I will not be returning. I wish I would have read a review before I came here.
