I have only been here once. The rice was slightly uncooked which is why they are not getting four stars but the lady who took my order was very nice. I ordered the chicken wings with fried rice and mumbo sauce! very tasty not my favorite but beats making the drive out to DC.

It is a small carry out and mostly clean. The food is inexpensive and tasty. I usually order the Bean Curd and Mixed Vegies and it is good, but does not have enough sauce in it. I have also had the Vegie Lo Mein and it was nice. I have had better Chinese, but Jerry’sis good if you are low on funds and they also give you large portions and it is not so bad. The food is cooked fresh and you can see the cooks making it. They have some American food on the Menu, and I have also ordered fried chicken and french fries, and it is the best! The location is not in the best part of town, so it is best to go in the afternoon or early evening.

This is a place you usually need to go to NE/SE DC for. It covers all the bases. Chinese food, hot/cold subs, fried seafood and chicken.
First, the appearance may scare some folks away. Keep in mind, it could be worse. Usually at these places your ordering through bullet resistant Plexiglas. Also, it is more of a carry out then an eat in place but there are tables.
Back to the food. I would love to meet the chickens that give up their wings for this place. The wings are huge. My default are the wings and steak and onion sub. Too much food at great prices. Have also picked up a range of the chinese food and it’s all been good. Nothing earth shattering but definitely good solid food.
