This review is about their bad customer service. I called to inquire about a climate controlled 10X15 storage unit from this location, and was told they did not have any 10X15, but they had plenty of 10X10s available, and Chip who I spoke with reassured me that they had had them for months and weren’t likely to rent them by the time the weekend occurred. He even explained that there were coupons online to make the rental cheaper and that he usually waived the $ 20 administrative fee. This place does not reserve units in advance, so we arrived early on Saturday morning ready to rent a climate controlled 10X10 unit. The person who was working there could not possibly be less friendly! He was downright rude, as he walked to the office desk. He did not say hello or good morning, or anything. When I explained that I wanted to rent a CC 10X10 unit that I was told were available earlier in the week on the phone, he rudely informed me that they didn’t have any CC units, and hadn’t had any for a while. He didn’t even check anything before making this pronouncement. When I explained that I was told they did have some, and had had some for months, he just said «I don’t know why they told you this», didn’t apologize for the mistake, and was just rude with attitude. What’s more, the office REEKED of cigarettes. After this interaction with this rude person, there would be no way in heck I would rent a unit here. If this is how they treat a potential customer, I can’t imagine how a client is treated!
