Mr Anderson took my case and my money and while he was succesful in partially resolving my issue he has not completed all the steps necessary to permanently fix the problem. I am leaving messages daily and he doesnt bother to return them. The office staff is absolutely no help in trying to reach him. He also incorrectly billed me for additional money that was covered in the initial payment and would not return calls to discuss the issue. I have called this guy about 20 times and have gotten 0 calls returned. Luckily there was a very nice lady in the accounting office who was able to resolve the problem BY SIMPLY REVIEWING our initial contract and was able to reverse the charges.

I worked with an attorney named Heather Jenquine (as did Claire in the previous post) and my experience with her was (and still is) quite terrible.
Not only did she mispresent and mistreat me as a client, but she also did a disservice to my child with respect to the custody arrangements. Heather rarely, if ever, responded to any of my requests, communication would go missing for months on end and I inevitably felt completely abandoned by the one person who was not only being PAID to be on my side, but was supposed to actually BE there to represent me.
She missed appointments, did not return phone calls, emails or the like and now that everything is almost over, she still won’t even advise me if I’m even divorced yet. She’s a HORRIBLE representation of what a lawyer, especially a family lawyer, ought to be. My daughter is extremely young and our bond and relationship got SCREWED because of this woman.
Don’t use this law firm and especially don’t use this woman. She is sincerely lacking in legal skills and repetoire.

While my experience was only with one attorney from this firm (website is
), I have since heard from a CPA that I consulted with (who I told my story to) that this was the second time he had heard of an attorney from this firm screwing up, so buyer beware.
I worked with Heather Jenquine, and without getting into the details of what happened (because really, who wants to read that?), she made a huge oversight about language that was inserted into my custody agreement. We knew the language was there (in fact, it was added at my request after a discussion with my then-​husband, but for one specific purpose), but Ms. Jenquine allowed it to be much more vague than it should have been. As a result of this, my ex moved with my children 15 miles further away than we had (verbally) agreed to, after I had already signed a lease. And it was perfectly legal under our agreement, because Ms. Jenquine did not protect me. Now I’m stuck driving my kids 30 minutes to school, one-​way, and dealing with a number of other issues because we don’t live close to each other. And this has set a precedent — what judge is going to force them to move schools now? — and they’re only 7 and 8, so I will be dealing with this for many more years.
I will admit that part of this was my own oversight, that I trusted my ex to stick to his word. The advice always is that you should get everything in writing. But things were progressing very peacefully and no one ever thinks that those horror divorce stories will happen to them. But that’s what your attorney is supposed to do — know that the worst can happen, and do everything in their power to prevent that from happening to you. That did not happen for me. My new lawyer called this a «massive f**k-up». That about sums it up.
Even before all of this, Ms. Jenquine was very slow in getting things done for me, taking far longer than should have been necessary to put together documents that were mostly boilerplate stuff. She seemed completely overworked, which isn’t unusual for a younger attorney, I suppose, but she shouldn’t have taken my case if she couldn’t handle it. I think part of what led her to overlook the vagueness of the language was the fact that she was so busy.
Everyone at the firm is very nice, but nice doesn’t make up for what happened to me and how it’s going to affect me for the next decade. Stay away from this firm.
