Very poor service and food prep. Two of my dishes were not served according to menu. Tip was hidden and included in bill

It was filling but that’s it. My rib eye was thin and overcooked with no seasoning. Plain and over priced.

Even considering the fact that this was a hotel restaurant and I had lower expectations, I was disappointed. The staff were pleasant and on top of things, but the food was definitely sub-par. Any place that does not permit you to get meat cooked any way other than well-done loses points in my book.

Came down here with the(extended) family on a Saturday night. We wanted to grab some small plates to share and a couple beers before turning in for the night. Overall, this is a pretty good bar. The hostess/waitress took care of us and treated us very well. Their draft beer selection is limited, but their bottled beer was cold and they had a typical selection. We enjoyed several different appetizers, but their Buffalo-style chicken wings were surprisingly good. They were crispy and the sauce was spicy and flavorful without being too hot. Riding in the elevator, I noticed that wings on Thursday are only 50 cents each! That’s a deal worth coming back for.

We only got a drink here, but that was mainly because we couldn’t get anyone to wait on us. There were two tables seated and apparently that volume totally overwhelmed the one bartender and several other employees who didn’t seem to have been trained to work in a restaurant. The furniture is lovely, though.

I went there on a sunday. Waitresses with no smiles. Standard buffet is $ 15.50 which I passed on. Portions are good, but this mechanical feel is warmth departed. They do make a good pulled pork at night so think evenings for. This.

The food is standard hotel fare. Nothing too exceptional but relatively good if you’re confined to the hotel for meetings(as I was). I ordered from a Pre-selected lunch menu for our group. I dined on the sesame crusted sushi-grade tuna & spinach salad. The first plate had to be sent back since the tuna was noticeably not fresh. The second plate was wonderful. Seared ahi tuna with wonderful rubbed seasonings. A bit of a smaller salad than I was expecting for lunch though. More akin to a side salad.

I think it’s an August thing in DC, since this was not the first restaurant offering specials I ran into. Since it’s August recess time, there’s probably less business during August. Anyways, saw their advertised $ 22 for an entrée and appetizer or dessert deal so decided to try it. We ordered clams sauteed with white wine sauce. It was very delicious and I could taste the wine. There were also some sort of sausage in it. The portion was also pretty large. Also ordered the calamari for appetizer, which was fried to perfection. The portion again was pretty large. I just wish it came with cocktail or tartar sauce instead of a soy sauce concoction. For entrees, we had a New York steak(which would have normally cost $ 25 by itself) and crab cakes. Both were served with a side of snow peas. The steak was juicy and the crab cakes were delicate and tasty. The snow peas were crispy and good too, except that they were too lazy to remove the ends and sides from the snow peas. Those are very hard to chew … which is a no no. I’ve never seen snow peas cooked without the ends and sides removed before. Besides this flaw, everything was delicious.
