Pamela Munez, Creative Design & Build LLC’s owner, has not been forthright multiple times with my landlord resulting in multiple unnecessary repairs in my home, and thus compelling me, my husband and our infant daughter to move out of our leased townhouse in less than a year, well before we planned, causing stress, moving costs and security deposit deduction of almost $ 1600. She has been, on multiple occasions, rude and disrespectful of my time, my home and my family, walking with her shoes on when I told her not to, approaching my infant without permission, picking up baby’s toys without permission, using my personal items such as dishes, paper towels and bath towel without permission, opening my dishwasher without permission, and wasting my valuable time with her uninteresting stories about her experiences as a single mother. In my view, she misrepresented the condition of the dwelling, diagnosing«necessary» improvements that then resulted in her services. For example, she recommended replacing a bathroom fan that was working perfectly with a larger, stronger one. She then stored the fan in our townhouse for over two months without permission, then took a whole day of my time installing it, which required cutting the bathroom ceiling, causing a mess that Pamela and her husband Richard didn’t clean up, a hole in the ceiling that they never closed, altering the bathroom ceiling in a way that didn’t resemble what we had rented and rendering that bathroom unusable since the fan she used was so ear-piercingly loud that nobody could stand to use it after her«repairs.» As a result, guests who stayed in our place had to go up two flights of stairs to shower. She also brought in at least five electricians to replace five smoke alarms and to look at the kitchen GFI. She supervised their work, but allowed them to go up and down the townhouse for hours, dragging their germs throughout the house, preventing my baby from sleeping for another whole day. She also surveyed the townhouse at her landlord’s request in January 2015, not raising a single issue, but then when we moved out in March, she claimed that the twice professionally cleaned carpet in the basement, «smelled of urine,» from two adult cats who weren’t in the house since November of 2014, prompting our landlord to deduct $ 1600 out of our $ 3300 security deposit to unnecessarily replace the carpet. I would strongly recommend against hiring her for any services because of the way that she runs her business and, by the evidence of her work on the townhouse where we lived, because of the quality of her services.
