Bath & Body Works

I love this bath and body works. I used to shop at the one in Springfield mall until it closed! However I have yet to have a bad experience at this one :-) The staff is very friendly and the store is always very clean and organized.

Several years ago, I discovered this store on an impromptu shopping safari with a friend. She said she had to pick up a jar of Sweet Pea. Confused, I offered, «Eh, if you need sweet peas, shouldn’t we be heading into that Giant over there?»
«It’s body cream, and it’s fantastic!»
«Is it green? Is it made out of peas?
«My God, You’re such a guy… Look, just keep quiet and don’t embarrass me.»
I, like many men, had experienced this conversation before. A tongue lashing that usually results from our inability to grasp the nuance of the mysterious world of women. Yes, we might claim that we get it, but basically we’re just a bunch of cavemen scratching our heads at a cover of Vogue. So, when we find a store like Bath&Body Works, we really need to just keep quiet because this place can be our salvation for oh so many birthdays, Valentine’s Days, and I am sorrys
We spent about 20 minutes in this spa oasis, and at the end there was a nice basket of Sweet Pea and other bath needs to show for our time. I had even purchased several bars of body soap.
«Who is that for?»
«Eh, me. They are big soap bars. I like the way they fit in my hands.»
She eyed me quizzically.
«What? What’s with that look?»
«Nothing, I was just thinking that you might not be altogether hopeless.»
Yeah, that’s right, ladies, this caveman can learn. Since that time, I have returned to Bath & Body Works for gift purchases ranging from birthdays to Secretary Appreciation Day. Sweet Pea body butter has most definitely been a lifesaver, for most women take to it like a cat loves catnip. And when I wasn’t sure if it were the appropriate gift, the ladies behind the counter have always helped me pick out the perfect gift. In fact, they often have great sales like the Sweet Pea Body Butter, such as buy two and get three. With my caveman arithmetic, that can work out to three perfect gifts for pretty much the price of one, leaving me enough to purchase my favorite bar of soap,

It puts the lotion on it’s skin… or it attracts the hoes again.
So I go in today, it being all rainy and stuff because I was told that my colognes make me smell like a douche. Not summers eve, but a guy that walks around with gold chains tangled in his chest hair, tight pants with swirly designs on the pockets and very pointy shoes. You know… one of the guys that tries to sell you an electronic cigarette at Tyson’s. SO I decided to find something more… shall we say… earthy.
Then it hit me, back in my elementary school days, when I wanted to get the attention of the ladies, (lunch ladies, school bus driving ladies… hell, even homeless ladies) I’d put on some woodsy smells from B&BW.
I went there today looking for an old classic and guess what, they still sell it.
Now when I pass a group of tween girls, I can feel confident that I am letting them know what a real man smells like. Burning wood, a hint of raspberry and a dead squirrel. Yes… the true outdoors.
Thanks B&BW for allowing me to be the man that I was always meant to be.
Look out lunch ladies… I am gonna ask for seconds on the creamed corn. *wink wink*

Nice that it is standalone and not in a mall so you can run in to grab quick gifts. Staff friendly, shop always spic and span. Coupons they mail out make it worth it & worth waiting for them and holiday promotions.

Very nice store– I went there recently for the 1^st time to buy a few items, I had a coupon I wanted to use. I was disappointed when they didnt have the items I was looking for in stock (wallflower refills double packs– which were on sale and it would have been cheaper to buy them in the packs vs buying the, seperate) The saff were nice and helpful. Giving it 4 stars because: A– they didnt have exactly what I was looking for & B– there’s aways room for improvement! I will go back!

I had no idea there was a Bath and Body Works in this shopping center! I like B&BW for the most part. Say what you want about their prices, but they always have coupons and sales. I wonder how new this store was because it was really clean. Like REALLY clean! Which of course is a good thing…
The one thing I’m not nuts about is their sales people. I know it’s their thing to try to help you find something but just let me browse! Sometimes I feel like I’m walking onto a car lot when I shop there…

Great store! Not as big as the ones in the mall, but that doesn’t even matter. It’s in a good location and the store is so clean! The girls that work there are so friendly and helpful, you can spend hours there just shopping. The manager is amazing and helped me get the best deals.
