AMERICA!

I have to agree with the other review. This location is in a nice area, but it’s products are very much over-​priced and not very desirable for most Americans.
The people running the shop were very nice, but we did not find anything that we needed nor interested us enough. It’s very clean and well lit.

Note: The wife and I cannot got into an America! store without (quietly) singing the theme song from Team America: World Police.
America! is the classic tourist trap store. Typically found in airports, they feature cheesy American-​themed souvenirs that tend to appeal more to foreign visitors who have a large fascination with all things American. (Regardless of your political affiliation, I can’t imagine any American wearing a t-​shirt with a GIANT Obama head on the front) It’s typical overpriced gift shop stuff run by the professionals of over-​priced gift shop stuff — the parent company manages several brands of sundry shops in airports and gift shops for several Vegas and AC casinos.
But amongst the sea of over-​priced crap, it never fails that me or my wife (usually my wife) will find something here that we are willing to buy for ourselves or as a gift. Her father is retired Army and an American history buff, so she found a couple of things for him to add to his Christmas stocking. (Yes, we start early!)
And hey, doesn’t everyone want a pet food dish shaped like Lincoln’s head?
