Victoria’s Secret

So I love VS. I mean, it’s borderline obsession. With that being said, it pains me to write this. This store is by far the worst store I’ve ever been to. I’ve lived in 6 different states so trust me when I say, I know a good store from a bad store. Anyways, first of all, ITS HOT. The store itself is so freaking hot that you will literally start sweating upon crossing over the threshold. Second, the employees, are horrific (this does not include the managers, I’ve talked to 2 of them and they’ve been very friendly). But the workers themselves are very rude (probably because they are so hot) but are just very unhelpful. Usually, there is no one insight. The one time I did ask for help with a «free panty» offer, the girl gave me the wrong one so when I went up to the cashier it caused a whole scene which involved the cashier, manager, and the girl who had given me the wrong panty. It was bad. But today, I went in, no one said anything to me which was fine, but then I head to the cashier with my items and I had a happy birthday coupon (I’m a VS card holder) and she wouldn’t use it. She said it could only be used online which is false. There is a barcode on it and upon reading the back after I left embarrassed, it says «valid in store and online» the cashier was so short and rude and acted like I was I an inconvenience to her. I will never be back to this store and will seriously reconsider my loyalty to VS just because of this store.

I was in desperate need of new underthings so we headed down to Coronado mall to hit up V.S. I know their stuff is a little pricey, but their wireless bras and sports bras are super comfortable. When you work 12-​hour shifts, comfort is worth the price. This store is like many others I’ve been in – clean, bright, and a little chaotically organized, but with helpful staff. In fact, one of the girls, Shay, was more helpful than any salesperson has been to me in I don’t know how long. She was very professional, knowledgable, and friendly without being unobtrusive. She seems to have a gift for reading people and knowing just what they need, both in product and interaction. I’d definitely go back, if only for her guidance in helping me select the right items.
