Worst dental experience I have ever had.
I moved to the area last year and didn’t have any family or friends to gain a decent dentist referral from.
My less than stellar insurance sent me here.
The office is freezing first and for most.
The hygienist tried to be personable and fell short.
We are in 2014… Freezing water to rinse ones mouth? A little outdated. The cleaning itself wasn’t geared toward patient comfort either that is for sure.
My gums from her cleaning are shredded.
Then came the dentist who viewed my mouth and my chart like a shady mechanic would view a car and see dollar signs for his pocket vs what is in the patients best interest.
I take immaculate care of my teeth and have never had someone treat me like this from a dental practice EVER.
«Dr. Bill» conversed with the hygienist like I wasn’t even in the room.
His fear tactics to coerce people into invasive dental procedures are archaic.
I would avoid this place unless you want patient fear based recommendations and your mouth sliced and diced.

Dr. Pavlakos has a front office staff that is very efficient in determining whether you are a client that will be able to pay. Once you are screened, your teeth will be cleaned and checked by someone who is gentle and efficient. The office is kept very cold. Your name will be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate at a local restaurant or toy store. Dr. Pavlakos himself is friendly and competent enough, but not as positive or effusive as some dentists I’ve been to.
