Love this post office. Wonderful employees. t’s the closest one to my home, and even though it’s tiny, for some reason people weren’t using it much over the holidays. Yes, here’s where I do something ridiculously stupid and let the entire universe know that it’s my secret place to go over the holidays because the lines are short to non-existent. There. I’m an idiot. Goodbye convenience.

Little, quaint and quick. I wanted to mail back 2 jackets that created too much bulk in my suitcases.(I didn’t even need them… lesson learned… second time around, don’t need a bunch of jackets.) I drove up there, stuffed my jackets in the priority box, waited for a short line. Again, the cashier was happy and funny. Heck, most of this town is happy, and think things are funny… must be something in the air. But really, this is a quick post office that deserves a review. It’s near Old Town. Its one my Garmin found, and I’d already used it to send postcards. I was in and out pretty quick. I sealed the box, addressed it to myself, paid $ 11.95 for a priority mail(better than an over filled heavy ass suitcase) and went on my way. When I come back to Albuquerque, this is the post office I will use. Great hours too, and a bunch of parking spaces.

Cute post office right across from Old Town Plaza. I was happy for the open hours in the middle of the day so I could mail some post cards out to friends outside of the US, as well as grab some first class postcard-rate postage. Friendly, efficient service. When I visit Old Town again, I’ll remember this post office.
