Okay, I usually get the #9 and substitute shredded beef. This morning the eggs were dry, like they had been cooked an hour early. The potatoes were crunchy, which was okay but everything was dry. I feel a burrito should be moist and hot on the inside, the cheese was still in its shredded form which means nothing that was put into the burrito was warm enough to melt shredded cheese. I like getting burritos here, please fix this so I can come back!!!

I love twisters! They never disappoint with fast New Mexican food. Love their carne adovada as it is shredded and never fatty.

To the lady that complained about my nephew being racist. He loves everyone is a honest trust worthy kid. You straight up lied and got my nephew fired for no reason. My nephew is a good kid and a hard worker. He has a disabilty and it took him a long time to get this opportunity and because you were in a bad mood you took someone’s job away from them. All I can say is karma lady karma will come. If you want to make it right go tell the truth.

All day breakfast burritos. Can even get them smothered in red or green chile. Perfectly customizable for my wife who can’t have dairy or egg. Fries were pretty good. Price is great and service is always friendly.

Food is always good, we come for breakfast every Sunday. The cleaning is failing, the coffee pots are nasty dirty, they use the same mop from the back for the front so the floors are very greesy and slippery so be careful inside.

I’m on the fence between two and three stars, and I was going to round up. However I re read my review and just couldn’t do it. Prices seem to be very good and there’s a great variety of items to choose from – including breakfast stuff like huevos rancheros. The chile sauces that were served with the burrito plate were too spicy for me, but I’m a wimp and you can’t go by my tastes. A negative were the relentless crew of flies descending upon my food. They didn’t seem put off by the spicy sauce. The cashier was civil, not friendly. The same can be said for the other employees I came in contact with, except for the young man who ignored me completely when I smiled and said«hi.»

We enjoy twisters a whole lot, their staff are friendly and helpful and they have like a million people standing there ready to serve you. Drive through doesn’t take long at all, about 5 mins in and out — from the moment you placed your order to the time they hand you your foods. My favorite one would be their legendary Twisters burrito, there are a few different portions that you can choose from, 1/8,¼, 1⁄2 of whole burrito — buried under a mount of crispy, golden tasteful curly fries and top off with either red or green chili sauce, or chopped green chili. The chicken burrito was awesome, shredded chicken cooked in green chili. The meat practically melts in your mouth, with each and every bite, you have a combination of so many robust and savory flavors and finished it up with the crunchiness of the fries and a kick of heat from the green chili. You see, many other places just make burritos, but with them, they put their own twists into the ordinary burritos and make them extraordinary.

The menu needs up dating, photos of food, not just a discription. Could have a few more sandwich slections. Staff is friendly, service is speedy.

While there are multiple Twisters locations around town, the Eagle Ranch and Irving store is in my ‘hood(so to speak), making it the one I’ve had the most experience with, and thus why I’ve chosen it as the location to review. Meaning of course, that my review is only of this particular Twisters, and is not meant to say anything about any other locations you may encounter. Soooo, with that blah, blah, blah stuff out of the way, onto my actual review! :-D When I’m craving a fast food burrito, I can usually count on Twisters as a good choice to fulfill that craving. Being a lifelong westsider(someone who resides in the NW part of ABQ), I’ve been to the location at Eagle Ranch and Irving many, many times throughout the years, and when I find myself there trying to satisfy that craving, I generally leave feeling as though I got what I came for. A decent New Mexican meal, prepared quickly, and at a price that is fairly reasonable given the amount, and quality of food that I received. What I order/recommend really depends on my mood. For the longest time I always ordered the ¼ chicken Twister(burrito), extra cheese, green on the side, and even if I was starving, it was always more than enough food for me. What is the Twister Burrito you ask? Well, if you’re an old school Burqueno, you likely remember Hurricanes, and their namesake, the Hurricane. If you do, you’ll know what I mean when I say say the Twister Burrito is essentially a direct copy of the Hurricane. For those who either don’t remember, or never had the opportunity to become familiar with Hurricanes, let me elaborate. The Twister Burrito comes with pinto style beans, and your choice of carne adovada, beef, or chicken inside. It’s then topped with curly fries, cheese, and your choice of chile. They come in 3 sizes, ¼ — good for the average hungry person, ½ — good for someone with a bigger appetite, or sharing between 2 people, and whole, which is generally good for sharing amongst 2 — 3 super hungry people, 1 person with the appetite of a typical pro football/basketball player, or your average teenage boy. These days I try to change things up a bit, and have tried most of the different kinds of handheld burritos at one time or another. They’re all equally huge, and share the same«eh» quality. Pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Of the handheld burritos that I’ve tried, I’d say I probably like the Supreme the best. It comes with the standard eggs, cheese, beans, potatoes, and chile, and includes the addition of bacon, and maybe diced ham, but don’t quote me on the ham. I can’t remember for sure right this minute whether it’s actually in there, or if I’m just making up ingredients that aren’t really included. :-D Like most fast food joints they’re typically staffed by teens, or young 20 some things, but, that being said, they’re generally friendly, reasonably competent, and I’ve always had good service when I go there. This location is one of their busiest, so table space can be at a premium, but again, they usually do a pretty good job keeping the restaurant clean, and getting tables cleared up promptly as they become available. Overall, I give them 3 — 3 ½ stars. Decent, though not great food, large serving sizes so you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth, good service, and a reasonably clean restaurant all make this Twisters worth a visit when the mood for some fast New Mexican food strikes you.

This is the most mouth-watering place and all of Albuquerque that you can get a burrito. My granddaughter would cry on the way home just so she could have a bean burrito with cheese. They would even take the time and cut it in half if she was satisfied with the new house they would cut of the third time. They did this with a smiling face and no complaints. I would always order the chicken bean cheese and onion burrito with Chile. Oh man if I could move in twisters to marilyn I would put one on every street just like they have one in New Mexico and I would be SOL delighted. If you’re ever in Albuquerque stop by twisters and feel your face with burritos

I have had twisters in the past and really never cared for it but I decided to give it another shot anyways. I came by and ordered a carne adovada burrito and what I received was about 6lbs of food that all tasted bland. If your looking for a place that gives you quantity over quality then this is your place. I seriously don’t know of anyone who could probably finish all this food but anyways I wasn’t a fan and probably wont be coming back.

I am a huge fan of Twisters. From the decadent breakfast burritos to the suprisingly tasty burgers to the off-the-beaten-path chicken wraps to the classic namesake, the Twisters Burrito, I have devoured more calories at Twisters than I care to or am able to count. In general, I love the place and consider it my go-to for a quick chile or breakfast burrito fix. But that’s for the chain in general. This particular westside branch has time and again fallen short of the expectations of quality I have developed over years of eating at other locations. And I am not talking about one bad experience. Or two. Or three. Perhaps I am too forgiving, perhaps I am naïve. Personally, I think it’s just a desire to support local eateries in the heavily corporate Cottonwood area. Whatever it is, I’ve been burned one too many times by the sloppily made, undersized offerings at this locale. A missing ingredient here, a stale ingredient there, burritos falling apart, tortillas all sogged out, it’s really a bunch of small missteps that add up to a big disappointment. To be fair, the food is still *okay* for the price and the restaurant is clean, it just pales in comparison to the standard Twsisters experience. When I’m in the mood for a fat, no-nonsense breakfast burrito, this Twisters just isn’t going to cut. Guess I’m going across the Rio next time I get that hankering.

Gahh… This is always a last resort for me at lunch time. It is greasy, low quality food. The breakfast burritos give this place one star more than it deserves. I’m not just talking about this location, I’m talking about all locations. The staff are usually pretty nice but not always.

Food is cheap, fine(but breakfasts are salty) and they have friendly staff. It is sort of a fast-food atmosphere inside but with slightly more personal dine-in service. The staff comes around every few minutes to check on everyone in case they need anything — so that’s a nice touch of service. They have decent breakfasts, burritos and good tacos!
