I forgot to post my reviews about this Thai restaurant. Three days ago as I was traveling state-to-state, I stopped here to have a dinner. I was in a mood to eat here because I was craving for the authentic Thai spice. As I walked into the restaurant the first impression I felt was that this restaurant may serve an excellent Thai dishes with finest spice. I have ordered the yellow curry, sea food salad, and tomato sauce served with pineapple and veggies. All the dishes I ordered were excellent and the waiter who took my order was friendly, sharp, and knows how to take care of the customers. I tipped him very well for his good customer service. I left the restaurant happy as I can be. I will come back to this restaurant whenever I have the chance to visit Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We have picked up to-go food a few times. A few positives related to the to-go experience: they have always had our food ready when they said they would, they are friendly, and they package the food well. Occasionally they throw in a few spring rolls just for fun(I’m always sad when they don’t!). SO — is it good? Yes. Any MAJOR problems? No. Spice? Sometimes. I order medium every time… sometimes it will clear your sinuses… other times, it is really mild. Flavor? Always very flavorful — but sometimes it is a bit off tasting. The last time I ordered, my chicken tasted like butter and cucumber. Not bad flavors, but not normal. It was so flavorful(in a weird way) that it was hard for me to eat. But that is one experience out of a handful. My other half loves this place and always wants to eat there. I prefer to drive across town to Bangkok Bite for this style of food. Prices seem a bit high. It is really easy to spend $ 40 for two entrees and a soup. That would be fine if it was stand-out food or huge servings, but it seems high for what we come home with.

Loved everything about this place, but mostly the red curry! This place may look a little sketchy, but ignore that. Nice atmosphere inside, and very clean. Service was prompt, food was excellent. And they have beer(La Cumbre) and wine! A word of warning though… Be cautious of the heat index here! Hot is habanero equivalent… it’s no joke. I personally went for the medium, and it was still a little too spicy. I highly recommend this place! Mouth is watering thinking about it :)

Do you ever judge a book by its cover? Do you ever think, «man… I don’t know if this is worth it…»? Do you ever just go for it, and then it’s an amazing experience and you doubt all your life decisions up until this point? Well, if you answered yes to any of those, and even if you didn’t, you should eat here! The food was exceptional, the service was on-point, and the prices were very reasonable. You can tell that they know what they’re doing, and they have no plans on changing… Which they shouldn’t!

Everything I’ve had here, as far as food, has been great. Meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans can all enjoy dishes here together. High marks for the Pad Thai. The only thing that I can say that is not up to par is the parking. The parking lots is odd shaped and typically full. It doesn’t help that customers often take liberties with parking spaces.

The food is delicious, absolutely. I probably had an unusual experience the one time I ate here. We had to wait over half an hour for a table(understandable — it was a Friday night). After we ordered, though, we waited an hour for our food! People came and were served and left and we were still sitting around starving! We were DEFINITELY forgotten about. We were there for over two hours, and we went there to get a quick bite! Really tasty stuff, but I’m not willing to admit it was worth what we went through to get it. If I ever try this place again, hopefully I’ll be able to give them a better review. All they have to do is not forget about my order!

I live in Las Vegas, NM(two hours north on I-25), but had a one-night stay in Albuquerque due to an early flight out of ABQ the next morning. A solo Thai dinner was first on my list of things to do, and I’m so glad I chose this restaurant. It’s a comfortable, cozy place to dine alone(or with others); I chose a table for two near a window, but there are also a few bar seats that would work well for singletons. The service was expedient and polite, and the food was incredible. I ordered the veggie egg rolls as an appetizer and Pad Se-ew with beef(mild-level spicy). Both were delicious, and the amount of food was great for the price but not gluttonous/wasteful. I strolled the neighborhood afterward and saw lots of other places on Central Ave. that looked worth exploring – perhaps for another trip, or perhaps not, because I think I’ll just end up back at Thai Cuisine II. It was that good.

Excellent spot for Thai food. I always order pad thai my first time in a thai restaurant to see where it stacks up. It was excellent here, along with everything else I have tried.

Omgoodness, this place is yummy! The service and presentation was very good as well. I had the Pineapple Curry which was the best I’ve had. I ordered medium and it had plenty of spicy bite. It was the perfect combo of spicy n sweet. My hubby ordered the #97 and loved it. A really nice clean healthy meal with great flavor. Definitely worth coming back! !

Every time I’ve eaten here, I’ve left with a full belly of yummy food! I’ve branched out from my standard pad thai order — I’ve tried several of the curries, and some of the other noodle dishes as well. The Thai iced tea is delicious. I also highly recommend the tapioca pudding — I had never had it before and it was super yummy — soft tapioca pearls in warm coconut milk — makes my heart sing. Just writing this review is making me crave it! Even though the curries are delicious, the pad thai is still outstanding. I like to get it with tofu, and although I’m a meat eater I think it’s awesome that they have an array of vegetarian and vegan options. The service has always been very good, attentive, and friendly. If you get the opportunity, you should go for lunch — it comes with a soup, an entrée, and the tapioca pudding. A LOT of food for a good price. I’m glad I am familiar with this place and I love visiting when I’m near the Nob Hill area. You can also call in takeout here!

My absolute favorite Thai place in town! The service is friendly and the food is even better! I have tried pad se-ew, pad, pad Thai, papaya salad and the Laab gai. All dishes were amazing. There is no place like Thai cuisine! Definitely a must try!

My favorite place to have Thai food in ABQ! I usually go for the green/yellow/panang or red curry, but I also really like their pad thai. Can’t go wrong here. It is pretty small, so I usually always order takeout but the key is, it’s good, it’s affordable and its good(did I say that already)?

This places is my go to Thai take out spot. Hot is too hot, medium is still hot. I usually get curry, all of them are delicious. It’s a small but cozy spot on the edges of nob hill. So b if you’re planning a night out its not a bad place to start. Enjoy!

Delicious food and great service, plus its in Nob Hill. You can order to go which is also great if you’re in a hurry or just want something quick. There are so many things to try on the menu. If you love spicy asian food, you will love this place also. They cater to gluten free too, almost every dish can be made without MSG or wheat. I think it’s the best Thai place in town!

Thai Cuisine II is what comes to mind when I think about great Thai eats. This monument to good food with its prominent gabled red roof is located on the outskirts of Nob Hill and is my go to in ABQ. I’ve been to other places about town, but I have to say no one else really comes close. My taste buds have ventured over most of the menu with much delight. From the fish cakes, to the beef salad, to the pad see ew, to all but one of the curries, and it has all been fantastic. Fresh, hot, spicy hot to your liking, and prompt. The people that work here are fantastic, accommodating, and know how to take care of you. Take care of you they do. I’ve never waited a long time for my eats at all. Even with as busy as this little restaurant can become. I guess what I am trying to get at with this descriptive, yet scattered review, is that Thai Cuisine II is a great place to find and eat good Thai in the city of Albuquerque. Make the drive to dine here even if you live in all of the distant suburbs because you, my friend, don’t know what you’re missing.

Well I guess now since I’m considered a «regular» here I should probably write about it. Although I doubt it if I said, «I’ll have the usual» they’d understand, so here goes nothin… Thai Cuisine II, a humble place in maybe the not so nicest part of Central. No matter because this place is a gem in the rough. Im going to go ahead and announce it on Unilocal so its official: best Thai place in ABQ. This place is quaint with maybe 10ish tables, but don’t be fooled, this place is a culinary powerhouse. I sometimes crave Thai food(read: a lot. like erryday basically) and Im so satisfied with what I get here. Start off with some fried tofu which is delish(I know, how very hippie of me). Then I order Pad Kee Mow with tofu, medium spice. My mouth is on slight fire, but in a good way because I wash it down with a cold Singha. My friend, bless her heart, ordered and wore. er…I mean ate, kind of, the Yellow curry between handling a saucy one year old. I snuck a bite or six in between her cleaning curry off her iphone. I will be getting this next time. Oh yes there’s a next time. Easy readable menus and a great selection make this place a must for any traveler in the mood for some Thai. Go meow!

Had dinner here last week after a hiatus of a few years. The last time I ate here the food was lackluster, a huge disappointment given that I had eaten several memorable meals there previously. I’m happy to report these folks are back on their game, serving up excellent Thai food at reasonable prices. We had the green papaya salad as an appetizer, green curry, and noodle dish. All was fresh, well seasoned, and had a good level of heat. I think they are back in the running for best Thai food in Albuquerque.

Arguably the best Thai in ABQ. I have been craving Asian food for a while, and I especially like Thai food. Chicken satay skewers were on the small side, but the peanut sauce was done right. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. The only reason I’m docking a star is for the small size of the chicken skewers and because the menu says that the fried rice comes with peas in it– but mine had no peas. It did have pineapple, cashews, tomato, onion, egg, garlic, and a lime wedge. I custom ordered chicken in mine, or you can get tofu, beef, pork, shrimp, or mussels. My friend’s pad Thai was delicious, on the sweet side, which he likes. I also liked that he was able to order two«meats,» tofu and beef in his dish, without an extra charge for the second one. He had a fair amount of both in his noodles; they didn’t skimp. There is also a vegan menu here, but we came here instead of Thai Vegan because my dining partner is a carnivore.(«I need meat. I don’t do vegan.») Note: I have been to Bangkok before, and Thai people have a different sense of spiciness than we do: what they consider mild or not spicy is outright medium for us. So, take note when you custom-order your spiciness and order a notch down from what you can usually tolerate. I found my friend’s mild pad Thai to be almost a medium level.

I crave HOT food and since moving to ABQ a couple months ago, have sought it out regularly. When looking for a decent Thai restaurant in town, this one came up near the very top… so off hubby and I went with a couple of friends. The menu is diverse and all are offered at the«no chili» level, all the way up to «Thai Hot.» I ordered Mussaman curry chicken at Thai Hot, of course. It was THEBEST Mussaman curry I’ve ever had and there have been more than a few across the country. Everyone else loved their Pad Thai and various noodle dishes. We also shared their sampler app platter with spring roles, dumplings and satay… the tamarind sauce was particularly lovely. Finally, the location is convenient & quaint inside, and the service was very attentive. HIGHLY recommend that you check this place out — we’ll definitely be back. :)
