Taylor Ranch Veterinary Hospital

This is by far the most caring and sympathetic veterinarian we have ever taken our pets to. A week ago yesterday our chihuahua Princess Dianna got really sick I called several vets and no one could see her, I was at my wits end then I found Taylor Ranch explained what was going on and they told us to come in and they would see her. the assistant was so gentle with princess and when Dr. Dana came in He explained everything in detail and after some test Princess was given a shot and sent home with meds he also gave me the emergency care number and told me if I needed anything to call him. So sad to say our princess did not get any better and Wednesday we had to take her back in and have her put to sleep. I went today and picked up princess’s ashes, they were in a small cedar box with a lock and key we were also given a plaque with her paw prints and name on it. When I got back to the house I checked the mail and they had sent me a sympathy card and Dr. Dana had written a beautiful note on the inside. I would HIGHLY Recommend them to anyone.

I do like the staff and the vet here, they are all friendly. However, this place is very overpriced. They made us wait to spay our dog saying that she needed all her shots first, but the bigger she gets the more we will be charged for anesthesia. They charge a ton for dental work too. Blue Cross does it for WAY cheaper.

The care here is exceptional. My cat got really sick and having recently relocated to Rio Rancho, I hadn’t had time to find the cats a new vet. They were able to get me and my kitty in first thing. The staff was kind, prompt, and professional. Dr. Forsyth is a treasure. He took the time to listen to me, list all of our options, and help develop a plan to move forward. He listened to my cost constraints and personal situation and was gracious and kind. I hope to continue getting my cats regularly treated here. I recommend this clinic based on the staff and their exceptional quality of care provided. The only drawback is that they don’t have any payment plan option unless your bill is over $ 500 (at that point they do accept carecredit). While it can be difficult to come up with that kind of dough, especially when it’s due to unforeseen circumstances, you can rest assured that your pet will receive the highest quality of care at Taylor Ranch Animal Hospital.

Easy in, easy out. Seen within ten minutes of our appointment time. We have an old poochie that needs some regular attention, and since these guys are so close to home we’re happy they are on top of things.
