Almost 2 months now and still do not have the second pair of glasses. The Manager, who is about results per his words supposedly reordered them over two weeks ago! Geez how hard is it??? I have paid and not received them. W The. I have been very patient but I am done. One more week and this Granny will be picketing in front of their store!!! Update, finally after 2 months 4÷08÷16 I finally received my second pair of glasses. Went into the store and the Manager told me this was JUST brought to his attention. Buloney! 2 and ½ weeks before he told me in person he was ‘all about solutions’ and would reorder them because he wasn’t sure what happened. This guy is SOOOOOO full of it. Lame. Save a lot of stress and go anywhere else.

Horrible. 1. The eye doctor was great. He was very professional and fast. I would enjoy getting an eye exam from him again. 2. The selection of frames are many. From inexpensive to top of the line name brand. They have many frames to choose from. 3. The employees are 50⁄50. Depending on who I talk to I will recive great customer service or very bad customer service. 4. The main reason I am upset and I won’t be a returning customer is the warranty. It is my understanding that I have a 1 year warranty on my frames and a 2 year warranty on my lenses. The thing that is most upsetting about this warranty is the staff. I have talked to three different employees and all three say my warranty is over. I purchased my glasses September 2014. That would mean my warranty is good till September 2016. I guess I can’t really complain too much because I got want I wanted, but in order to get to this point I had a lot of headaches talking to the staff. 5. One bad experience I had was with a gentleman who was helping a staff member adjust my frames to fit my face properly. After she was unable to get them to fit the way I wanted, the gentleman in question who always has a white towel over his shoulder, came over to help her. Without even asking me what I wanted he told me, «your frames will not fit your face the way you want because your nose is crooked». He then tried to adjust them, and at this point, I knew I wouldn’t be able to have my glasses adjusted the way I wanted, so I told him, «this is fine», then I got up and left. In my honest opinion, this gentleman should not be talking to the customers, and should not adjust frames.

I took my mother here to get glasses and it was very disappointing. It was hectic there was a lot of people and one of the staff was singing out loud. The eye exam is $ 50 but somehow is «refunded» when you buy your frames. Then the deal is 2 pairs for 69 $ but the selection was terrible. So we went up in the selection and got 2 for $ 100. After 2 hours of getting a prescription and making a frame selection that was the 2 for $ 100 deal they wanted to tell us one frame did not qualify. This was after the staff verified the frames were both 2 for $ 100. After another 40 minutes the staff comes back with a piece of paper and slyly explained all of the charges to us and somehow it was going to be $ 300.00 for the glasses which is far beyond the initial price. The staff was like a cheap car salesmen that made no sense when asked how the price was so high and to walk me through the charges. They were trying to charge us $ 200 for lenses which makes no sense. We asked how this was possible and we told the staff that was the companies way of making up for the«deal» of 2 pairs of glasses for $ 100. We took our prescription and left! Do not go here unless you want to waste 3 hours of your life dealing with shady staff and have no product to show. P. S. this place seems like its doing a lot of unethical business and takes advantage of people who are not able to say no. Do not let your loved ones/elderly loved ones go here without backup!

I went into Stanton on Jan 4, 2016. I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, one were progressives and the other were sunglasses. I was told there would be a 14 day wait on the progressives. I understood that. I waited 14 days and then called. I was told 14 business days and not to call back, they would call me. I waited exactly 14 business days and called back. I had to wait another 2 days. I finally went in to get my glasses, I was told my sunglasses wouldn’t be ready for 2 more days. Those days came and went. I waited a week then I went in and asked what was taking so long. I was told the reflective coating was holding it up. I just told them to refund me the cost. Of course because of their BOGO I paid $ 110 for the 2nd pair. I am now heading to LensCrafters to order sun glasses!

I find it interesting to note that all the negative reviews have been removed from here. There were tons of them. Do not patronize this business. I have had to file a complaint with the State Regulatory Commission and my vision insurance plan. I also plan on filing a complaint with the Albuquerque licensing bureau. It has been over 5 months since I was at this location and to this date I still do not have a written prescription. 3 different eye doctors — all incompetent. Could not get either my contact lens or glasses prescription correct. What have they done to correct this — nothing but empty promises. My husband ordered glasses — paid over $ 300 and it took six weeks to get them. Their excuse was the coating factory. He gets them and they were useless — actually made him sick because the eye doctors are incompetent. Then he waited another 4 weeks for another pair of glasses. DONOTPATRONIZETHISCOMPANY. They are bad for your health!

Please do not spend your money here! The doctors always cancels and their staff are unprofessional. I was given a prescription that was not finalized. Spent a lot of money for this prescription to not be vaild. When I complained, they did not bother to fix it. Their solution was having me pay for another appointment and for me to make sure the prescription was finalized.

Thursday 9⁄11 I received the call that my trial lenses were in. 9⁄129am I picked them up and asked if I can do follow up exam right away to expedite the process. Was told to come back after 9:30 am. Went back at 1:45 and was told the there is an available slot 2:15. No problem. Saw the doctor and explained how the contacts worked for me. The doctor changed the script and ordered another set of trials to test. I do believe that they are trying to make this right so I jumped them up a star.

This was the worst experience I have ever had, no confidence in this place. I decided to try them because they were so close to my work and my home, I already have an eye doctor that I have been with for 10 years, but decided to give them a try. What a mistake. First of all, the FREE Eye Exam is for Glasses only, not contacts. My exam was $ 89, not that bad, but the doctor had my prescription all wrong! When I put in my lenses, I couldn’t focus far and I couldn’t read near. It made me dizzy. I told him that I read a lot and do a lot of computer work, I don’t think he listened. He changed my prescription, which didn’t need to be changed. After that, I decided to cut my losses and go back to my original doctor and had another exam. My doctor said that my prescription hadn’t changed, issued me new contacts exactly the same, why change something that’s working for me? I have no confidence in Stanton Optical or their staff. They bait and switch you when you walk in the door. By the way, my husband tried them too and the 2 for $ 69 is really deceiving, he ended up paying $ 438 for 2 pair of glass as they up sell the progressive lenses, and this and that and by the time you walk out of there, it’s sticker shock and you are so pissed that you never want to walk thru their door again. Another by the way, his glass were wrong and they are still trying to get them right after 3 times trying and counting. Do not go to this place unless you want wrong prescriptions, expensive glasses, things you don’t even want. Never again!
