If I could give this company zero stars I would. I’ve lived at Las Viviendas, the company’s apartments in Corrales, for the past two years and have experienced nothing but horrible plumbing matched by the tentant-blaming, excuse-filled, attitude ridden staff. Why have we stayed, you might ask? Because its incredibly inexpensive and in the heart of idyllic Corrales… but we’ve finally reached our boiling point. I’m writing this Unilocal review to discourage future tenants from being swayed by the same, seemingly wonderful aspects of this apartment complex. My sister and her boyfriend lived here previously and had the same issues, as did the previous tenant above us – all who warned us but we didn’t listen(wish we had!). It is an old building and the plumbing is awful. While I’ve lived here, at least two other apartments have flooded due to faulty piping, including ours on TWO separate occasions. While the issues were eventually dealt with and cleaned up by the apartment staff, they never apologized nor took any responsibility for the incidents. In fact, they said it was our fault for not calling sooner. How is it my fault that a root was growing into a pipe? It is incredibly frustrating, especially because we have lived here for two years and always paid our rent on time. The sad thing is, I would probably stay here, plumbing issues and all, if I felt like I was a valued tenant that the management wanted to make comfortable. But it has become very clear to me that they simply do not care about us and the ever rotating list of tenants in the place should be a fair warning to you to stay away.
