Ok, so being born and raised in Brooklyn, I’ve grown to KNOW and LOVE pizza! I’ve eaten at a ton of NYC including Spumoni Gardens, and Grimaldi as well as hole in the walls joints, all through the 5 boroughs. Although I wouldn’t exactly claim this as New York Style Pizza, the pizza is delicious, and New York worthy. My fiancé said that its one of the better slices he’s had in a long time(He’s from Harlem) and he almost NEVER has an opinion lol.(Sorry honey) Every true New Yorker knows that how you eat a slice is everything.(I’m sure they’re still feeling a little disrespected that Mayor Diblasio ate a slice with a fork and knife. in PUBLIC, GASP) The slices here allow you to do just that. Eat like a NYer. Drain the grease from the pizza on to your plate, and dab any remaining grease with a napkin. Add your garlic powder, salt and crushed pepper(Oregano and parmesan are optional), fold your slice in half at the crust, open wide. Mangiare! The ambiance is relaxed, the beer selection is great. I will be back again… and again! Its a small little spot. I definitely do not recommend brining a group of people here unless you come SUPEREARLY or VERYLATE

Original New Yorker, then Los Angelean, now 6 months for business in ABQ. I am proud to report I have found the BEST pizza in ABQ. This is it. No doubt. This is real NY pizza, best ingredients and execution, great relaxed atmosphere to boot.

I really liked eating here. I loved the food and service. I really liked their pizza. The waitress we had was very nice and kind. She really made sure that we were okay the whole time we were there. My only complaint was that the pizza was so good I only got one slice before all my friends inhaled it!

Surprisingly, I had eaten Pizza from Slice Parlor a dozen times before I ever set foot in the actual restaurant because they deliver to Tractor! I loved the pizza so much I had to check out the actual joint. It is a small restaurant, but it’s big in taste and in service. They serve lots of beer, local and others, and have lots of specials on different days. The pizza is amazing, and while I’ve only had the pepperoni, it’s one of the best pepperonis pizzas I’ve had. The service was on point, and they stay on it(even while walking pizza to Tractor). Kudos to this place, they’re a staple in Nob Hill, check them out.

Absolutely delicious pizza and beer as well as great specials but unfortunately we felt like we were a huge inconvenience to our server… food is 5 star and service was a 2 so settled on a 3 for the night

Born and raised(till high school, anyway) in New Jersey, and this is as close as I’ve found! Big slices, thin, crispy crust, perfect sauce, plenty of toppings, always hot, and there is always plenty of green chile. Also, the salads are fresh and substantial, especially for a pizza joint. The staff is ALWAYS friendly here. Not too pushy, but attentive, and they all have great attitudes. Even on the busiest of nights, they all have their act together. The place is always clean and the chalkboards are clean, organized, and legible(I can’t believe how many restaurants let someone with a three-year old’s handwriting publicize their specials). The lighting, the noise level and the music choices enhance the experience, instead of being the main event. Finally, they have an awesome craft beer selection, and the best prices in town if you go on Wednesday. A slice and a craft beer is $ 7 any day, any time, which I consider a really nice deal. Love this place!

Yesterday was my lucky day! No, I didn’t win the lottery or get a big movie role. But speaking of movies, I was waiting for a movie(last day of the SWLGFF) to start at The Guild. I pondered«should I eat now or wait for the end of the movie»? Having little will power as I stood there surrounded by some of Nob Hill’s finest restaurants I dodged the traffic and settled in on a stool at the bar of Slice Parlor. What followed was a lucky guess for a craft beer. I like light beer and ordered well. I had a large side salad so that I could tell my trainer that I had a salad for supper. HA! I won’t tell him about the HUGE slice of pizza that was served on what looked like a tiny paper plate. That’s how big the slices are. It does remind me of some late nights in my earlier years wandering around NYC. The pizza was hot, fresh, and delish. I don’t treat myself to pizza very often so I’m glad I found myself in Nob Hill to enjoy Slice Parlor! Cheers to a local ABQ restaurant!

I have known about Slice Parlor for some time, but never wandered in to check out the food. Through friends, I heard they had great beer and pizza deals. After meeting the owner, I decided to check it out. It is a great spot and the food was really good. It is definitely one of the better deals in town if you’re looking for good food at a cheap price. I was happy with the beer selection as well. They have TV’s and it is a good atmosphere to watch whatever sport you desire. My only concern is the height of the bar in relation to the seat height. The seats could definitely be raised 3 – 6 inches. This wasn’t a huge concern, but something I noticed right when I sat down.

The paper thin New York style pizza here is awesome! The big slices from huge pizzas took about as long as cookie a whole pizza which makes me wonder what’s going on behind the scenes but I was rewarded with an awesome slice of pepperoni. Stop by, grab a slice and enjoy! Chicago Style lovers need not apply here.

My NY girlfriend and I go to slice weekly. She likes it because it’s just like the pizza she grew up with in Brooklyn. I like it because it’s darned good. More and more, traditional pizza I get elsewhere seems less and less appealing while slice just gets better and better. Then when I consider slice with their great beer selection and friendly staff… No brainier. Best bet: a slice or two is good, but whole pies are better. The toppings on a slice are on top while they are mixed in with the cheese on a whole pie. And you can take home the extra and have it later.

Fun atmosphere, good service and a nice beer selection. While I appreciate the size and crispness of the slice and the flavor of the green chile, The pizza lacked real flavor which pointed to low quality ingredients. Pizza sauce was 100% store bought, cheese lacked flavor or any ‘stinginess’ of fresh mozzarella and crust was disappointing. Probably won’t be back.

Great selection of beer and a different special everyday! Cheese pizza and a Santa Fe Nut Brown beer costs me 6 dollars and some change. It was a great lunch and affordable. Nicely located in nob hill, parking is difficult but you can park on the west side of the building and its 2 hour parking or the east side and pay for parking. Waitress were also very friendly and provided great service. I also like the laid back vibe in Slice Parlor! Definitely a 5 star place, closest thing you’ll get to a New York pizza.

I’m sorry but I don’t get what people like about this place besides the beer selection. Seriously the pizza was tasteless. Actually I lie it did taste like something. It tasted like Elementary School Cafeteria Pizza. So if your looking for a trip down memory lane go here. If you’re looking for good pizza go across the street to il vizinos. If your in the mood for Delicious pizza head across town to Mimmo’s!

Taste is good but when food can be fun. I’m so down! You know what I mean if you have ever ordered their large pizza. It’s the size of a 4-top table. That’s right folks! This pizza is huge. It’s been a while since I’ve had their pizza inside the parlor but I do remember it being a fun atmosphere. Small but really fun. There’s a bar top or there use to be, anyway. Why is my memory of the inside of this establishment so sketchy? Well, I usually enjoy my Slice Parlor goodness when I’m at Tractor Brewery next door. They are technically behind Slice Parlor but saying behind door is weird. You get what I’m saying! Mmmhmm. Back to the pizza — service is always friendly when they deliver the pizza to Tractor. That’s right — if you didn’t catch on already, Tractor doesn’t have a kitchen so they let you bring in outside food. Genius! Nothing more American than pizza and beer. Hooray!

This place has upgraded itself to five stars. Put yourself in my shoes: I just got out of a long day of training at work and then working on a paper for school. I’m hungry. Very hungry. I call the hub to see what we should have for dinner. Uh oh… it’s 853pm. It’s the bewitching hour in Albuquerque. Most places close at 9pm. We can’t go to our staple vietnamese restaurant… hmmmm. where should we go? Nob Hill. Nob hill is a good pick. There has to be something open there. Hmmm… I want a local brew. I’m stressed and I need a local brew! Slice Parlor! Let’s do it! One of the best things about this place is that they are open until midnight. It’s small, but can pack a crowd. Mostly, you can find a seat at the bar. They have a good selection of beers on tap. Everything from PBR to La Cumbre Elevated to Alaskan Amber… and everything in between, including Stella and Angry Orchard. There’s something for everyone! I’m a fan of the La Cumbre Elevated. They have specials several times a week. including $ 3 Marble Mondays and $ 5.99(I think) for a slice and a beer. If you can get there on Tuesdays, they have a Happy Hour from 2−4pm with cheese pizza for $ 1! The slices don’t disappoint. They are the size of two slices of pizza. I also like their salads. They are made with a healthy spring mix and topped with olives and tomatoes… no iceberg here. I usually get a beer, a slice of pizza, and a side salad. There’s always some sort of sport on the TV. The service occasionally leaves something to be desired. but it is mostly good. I can officially say that this is one of my favorite places to grab a brew and a slice of pizza in ABQ.

Oh my Lord, how have I not written a review yet?! Slice Parlor is one of my favorite spots in ABQ! They have some tough competition across the street, but for the price, there’s no beating Slice Parlor. It was such a good spot to get lunch when we had a little bit of time or just getting off and could grab a drink with a slice as well. Their daily deals are awesome too(slice and a beer combo). And to top that off, a military discount is given too! The slices are HUGE and come with plenty of ingredients to cover it too. Never did I feel like they were skimping despite how much square footage of cheese they had to cover. And the variety of ingredients was awesome too. From what I was told, I believe they’ll even deliver it over to Tractor brewery for you to enjoy with a brew up there. A nice bonus was that they would have on Rugby and Soccer on the TV’s whenever I came in… ok well, it’s a bonus for me!

I was a big fan of this pizza. It was very tasty! The crust was thin(but not too thin!) and had a great texture. I’m not sure if there is a difference in taste when your order a whole pizza or just a slice. We got a whole pizza with pepperoni and green chile it was very fresh. I love that they have a large selection of beers of tap. I had a Kona Longboard:) My husband had an «Angry Wave» which was half Kona Golden Wave half Angry Orchard. If you like Cider you should definitely try it! The pizza is great the beer is great! Also if you check in on Unilocal you get 20% off! What is better than that. There are discounts on different days as well! I will be back again for sure!

I love Slice Parlor. Their slices are huge, so you can probably just get one and be fine. Good, thin crust, loads of selection of toppings, piping hot and awesome. Okay, not the best pizza of my life. But for a really good pizza at a really good price, Slice Parlor is one of the best. Oh, and let’s not forget the beer selection! Lots of good locals, which is awesome, plus a few others. Unfortunately, they also serve PBR, which is slightly worse than goat urine, but I’ll try not to hold that against them. Small and often crowded, but Slice Parlor is worth the wait!

I love pizza. I love it to so so so much. I was so excited when we got Slice Parlor in Nob Hill because the slices looked huge and delicious, and I felt I could walk there and slump over giant slices of pizza after work. The pizza here is… okay. It looks delicious, it smells delicious, but it is not fabulous. Every time I have a slice in front of my face I get excited, because it looks like the kind of pizza that would punch your tastebuds right in the kisser, but it’s just lacking something, perhaps spices, perhaps sauce, perhaps salt, I don’t know, but it’s not there. The best part about Slice Parlor though is the beer. Cheap beer with a selection that would do your alcoholic uncle proud! The waitresses are also all very sweet and attentive, so it’s hard not to enjoy your beer at this place. Overall, I’m a fan because my brother and I can enjoy beers. I’m devastated about the pizza though. Absolutely devastated.
