This was my first visit. I usually go to Hello Deli but noticed this here today and thought I could do with some variety. Looked on Unilocal and it seemed ok. I wasn’t disappointed at all. Friendly atmosphere and the Pork sandwich was very tasty. I’ll definitely be back.

The roasted pork sandwich is exceptional! The same can be said for the service that you receive. I’ve eaten here several times & never leave disappointed. I’m often tempted by the desserts, but I don’t always get one — add these to the exceptional list as well.

Fabulous desserts! I also had the Tripled Sandwich… delish! Egg avocado tomato on whole grain bread. Great customer service and reasonable prices. Also Matthew Mconaghey had the same sandwich every day that he was there two thumbs up

I had the turkey sandwich and it was dynamite! Warm, fresh, a-maxing habanero sauce! Not deli turkey, actual turkey… definitely a place to pick up a scrumptious lunch!

Delicious! I had the spinach quiche and chocolate mousse to go. Quick and friendly service. I’ll definitely be returning and suggesting to friends!

Sara’s catered my parents 50th Anniversary party and everything was beautifully made, elegant in presentation, and delicious. Her customer service was incomparable in relation to the other catering companies I spoke to. And her prices were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Sara’s for any catering event.

I stopped into this place for lunch on while on a business trip. Another hidden gem in a bland strip mall. Sara herself was working the counter and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. The service was wonderful with Sara even suggesting items that weren’t on the printed menu. I ended up ordering the empanadas. They were like none I’ve ever had before. Muy delicioso! The desserts are to die for as well. I had the chocolate tres leches and it was divine. Everything was so good that I ended up ordering a key lime mini to go as well. I went here a second time while on another trip and had a repeat of the first time. I will definitely return each and every time I’m in the area.

The turkey sandwich was delicious! It is a must try! I worked to close that I had to find a good place for lunch and this place won! The turkey sandwich is real turkey meat not deli so that was a plus for me. The habanero gave it a good kick but nothing unbearable. The Peruvian empanada was tasty. They put powder sugar on top which is okay but by the second half of the empanada I dusted it off. Next up I’ll for sure try the pork sandwich.

I ate here for breakfast this morning for the first time and the food is fantastic. I was the first customer to try her breakfast empanada(I highly recommend it). The outer shell was soft and the bacon/egg/cheese mixture was tasty. To top everything off, I had apple crumb pastry that was also very good. The woman who helped me was friendly and kind. I will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Great turkey sandwich! House roasted spicy turkey, pickled red onions, jalapeño ranch on house made roll. I didn’t try dessert today but it looked delicious.

For one reason or another I didn’t snap a pic of my chocolate mousse but this place is on a return trip list for sure. We shared the small cup and it was a delight! Thank you!

It’s nice to be able to walk across the street and visit this establishment. So far, I’ve tried the roast pork sandwich with everything(a LOT of expertly cooked meat, nice fresh bun, complementary toppings), alfajores(amazing dulce de leche), and the tres leches«my way». The tres leches slice was my favorite so far. The cream and dulce de leche they make is so good. I think the desserts here are the highlight of the café, but they make very good sandwiches, too. There’s a daily breakfast special and lunch special, which I will try at some point.

I really enjoy the turkey and pork sandwiches with the pickled onions and special hot sauce. The desserts are great and worth trying. The empanadas have a sweet and savory taste but I like it. The prices are a little high. The service is great and once they know you they will start calling you by name.

Just stopped in for a bite to go… based on a fellow Unilocalers suggestion, I got the Spinach Quiche. The service was friendly and efficient; they offered to warm-up my quiche. Since I was going to enjoy it many miles away, I declined. As for the quiche, it was A-OK, not awful and not stellar either. For $ 4 bucks tho, it was fine.

After working a whole week in Los Alamos, NM I was craving some Peruvian food so I stopped here on my way to Albuquerque airport. I was stunned by what I found: a truly amazing Sangucheria/Pasteleria like in Lima, Peru. The pork sandwich was amazing. Tender meat with french bread with Peruvian sauces… I was in heaven. Took some empanadas, alfajores and cachitos to Chi-Town. My family was truly impressed. I will go back for the cakes. Highly and Extremely recommendable!!!

As this place is right across the street from where I work, it was inevitable that I went. Since it’s recent opening(a few months ago) I’ve been at least 20 times. They have a plethora of tasty sweet treats which are all made fresh as well as TRUE gourmet deli food. The roasted pork and the chicken sandwich are my favorites. Both are served on fresh made breads and have wildly unique flavors. Besides the good food, the restaurant is a family run affair that runs like a well oiled machine. Food comes out fast and they are always super friendly! I’m just lucky it’s a 2 minute walk from the office.

Yippee! I’m the first reviewer! Sara’s was an accidental visit. We normally eat at another spot in this location but noticed this was new and open. They specialize in pastry. And while we were there for breakfast, it was clear that the best things were the sweets. That said, the owner Sara was excited about her cuisine and offered some samples. Immediate happiness! We ended up with a slice of spinach quiche and a Peruvian green tamale. The quiche was superb, and the tamale was large and quite tasty, though it was slightly dry. I could make out all of the tastes and the masa was very tasty with a hint of cilantro. We finished with a croissant which was light, flaky, and buttery. The only advice I have is that they have a competing soda fountain along with a cooler case of bottled drinks. The issue I have is there are not refills on the fountain drinks, you have to purchase an additional drink, which is not competitive with other options in this area. I will be back, I want to try the peach cake!
