We stopped on our way to Albuquerque because my husband stopped here 2 years prior on his way back from Missouri. He wouldn’t shut up about how good the green chile was. So we stopped in. The place is really roomy and has that old diner feel. Jukebox and shiny booths. Our server was really nice and was working his butt off. Hubs ordered the Green Chile Stew. He absolutely loves it. I ordered the Pueblo Breakfast which is 2 eggs cooked any style, New Mexican beans, topped with Green or Red Chile,(green for me) with melted cheese over a huge piece of fry bread. THISWASAWESOME. WHEREHAVEYOUBEENALLMYLIFE? It was so different than anything I ever tried and yet it felt like home. This was a great surprise to me. They also give you fresh sopapillas, which is fry bread with your stew which you can have with honey that just plain delicious! This place is located at the travel center. There is a casino as well.
