We went here a couple nights ago to try something that wasn’t Five Guys or Fuddruckers. Glad we tried it! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the décor is campy but family friendly, and the prices are great! Three people ate till completely full for $ 22– cheaper than Five Guys and way cheaper than Fuddruckers. The portions are great, and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. My only complaint is the onion rings, but take my opinion with a grain of salt– I like my onion rings beer battered. These have some sort of corn meal breading, and I just didn’t care for it. Other than that, we’ll definitely be back. Go and support a local business, because Rex’s really deserves it!

Bevis Burger. Big a** burger! I really like Rex’s Burgers, but this one burger, the Bevis, is huge. With all kinds of toppings to chose from, I like to go «all the way». Green chiles are must for any burger in New Mexico, and theirs is good. Plus, order the platter, which comes with fries and a couple of onion rings AND your choice of vanilla pudding or applesauce. You’ll need a box, unless you’ve got a huge appetite.

The burger was a cross between Blake’s and Papa Burger’s. The lone onion ring was good and the fries we almost the same texture of Long John Silvers. The burger and fries were almost big enough for two people. My sister bought us lunch here around 3 and there were only a few customers so we didn’t have to wait in line. $ 18 for two burgers fries and drinks, not bad. I would defintaly come back and try a green chili cheese burger.

Old fashioned joint located off a Main Street. I was thoroughly surprised with how great my burger and fries were. The wait staff were helpful and gave great suggestions on what to get if you are stumped. They have two soda machines so you don’t have to wait in line when they are busy. I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in town and will bring my family along for the trip. Oh and I forgot to mention the old school video games you can play while you relax and have fun.

This place is awesome. The burgers are delicous and so are the chicken tenders! Everything is cooked fast and you rarely have to wait long for your order. They have an excellent selection of hot sauces and condiments! Overall, I really recommend if you are looking for a good burger.

We called in an order after a busy night during balloon fiesta, trying out the place after noticing it was close by — and we loved it! The burgers were great, and the shakes were the even better! I also liked the interesting side options (applesauce or pudding!) and everyone there was so nice! They asked us about our day and made nice conversation while we waited on a last-​minute side of green chile we decided to add. We’re right around the corner and have definitely found our go-​to takeout joint!

Still amazing burgers! I grew up on their green chili cheeseburgers! Recently moved back to town and was happy to hear Rex was still around! Must have spent every other weekend having lunch there when I was in HS. Fries were killer and I look forward to chile season when the green gets hot! Must try if you have never been! I want another burger now just rethinking my experience!

I really enjoyed the feel of this place. This restaurant has a lot of space and appears to be accommodating for an size party.
Right off Montgomery kind of hidden away, you will find Rex’s. I have been twice now, tried the featured shake, burger and frito pie. The green chili cheese burgers are made BIG. I couldn’t imagine ordering the double meat but some of you roll that way. The featured shake was really tasty, it was a mint chocolate chip shake, if I remember correctly. AND their frito pie? It is up there in my favorites. A big serving or fritos, beans, cheese, chile, lettuce, tomatoes, and hold the onions please.
The service was fast and the staff asked if we needed anything else. We chowed down and enjoyed our time here.

A little spot hidden in a strip mall next to red lobster, When I walked in it had a 80s feel to it, fast and friendly service. Nice clean atmosphere. I had he green chile bacon double cheese burger platter was amazing, soft bun, juicy patties, green chile was not hot but gave the burger good flavor it Wwasas like having a a handmade patty right off the grill at home. A++++

Five Guys EAT YOUR HEART OUT. Those king of grease, taste and fat; the five amigos of flavor have been very disappointing lately. Want a GREAT hole in the wall local dig with crispy fries, served with a side of Vanilla pudding or apple sauce LOVE is at Rex’s. The burgers are larger and are super juicy and tasty in very much the same way a good Five Guys burger tends to be when I visited. ½ lb cheese double burger took me like half a hour at least to finish. I want to know your secret Rex TELL MEEEEEE.

If you ever find yourself craving a big, old fashioned super flavorful burger, no need to fret! You can get your fix at Rex’s! They’ve got really great burgers (no artificially perfectly round patties here! It’s the real deal)! They’ve got a great selection of arcade games for the kids (and the kid at heart… my hubs plays them forever. It’s the only time I ever need actual real money). Fast, friendly service was appreciated as well!

Another eatery that I have been to many times and finally writing a review. Very solid burgers. I get the «gavster». It’s the cadillac of all their burgers. This is the burger that drips grease down your arms and makes you use 17 napkins before it’s finished. I had to use a knife and fork to eat this bad boy. Coupled with a frito pie, it’s the perfect lunch for big eaters like me ($ 14 with a drink). Very friendly staff and a pretty clean joint. I’m glad Rex’s made a comeback after being gone for all those years. I would say this is in my top 5 burgers in burque.

I love Rex ’ s I first came here with my elderly lady as a CNA. The food smelled so good I had to go back and try it for myself.
It’s really fresh and delicious plus the servings are HUGE. Even the kids meal is almost adult portioned.
They have their fruit punch and green punch which is good but very sweet.
It’s also very inexpensive for the amount of food that you get
