No. I can cook better food than this and I’m an awful cook. Store bought sauces, dry fried rice. My poor gf ordered the wanton noodle soup. Tasted like cup of noodle ramen. Plus awkward service.

Very nice atmosphere and service was immediate and quite friendly. Enjoyed pork spring rolls and a chicken pad thai, both of which were very fresh and tasted quite good.

Honestly, I don’t know why it’s so easy to get a table at this place. It’s great every single time. The prices are reasonable for the time and effort they put into every dish. They really know how to do spicy, which is great for someone like me that likes to have their doors blown off. Even their vegetable sides are steamed perfectly, and have great flavor. My only complaint is that they always deliver one dish at a time, so if you’re there in a party of 4 for example, you may have to wait 5 minutes from the time the first dish is served to the last. That and their infomercial/​fox news TV are my only, very small, complaints.

One of my favorite dishes is the General Tso’s Chicken with a side of Lo Mein noodles.
The General Tso’s can be ordered Mild, Medium, Hot or Extra Hot; I prefer the tasty, distinct flavor of Hot.
The ingredients are always fresh and is served in a timely manner — consistent, quality food!

I ordered the phô. All their sauces are out on a bar except the hoisin sauce. When I asked about it the guy behind the counter told me they would bring it out and that it wasn’t their first rodeo. The phô was one of the bottom tier phở’s I’ve had across several states. They put a roast beef over the top that diminished the overall flavor. I ended up removing it and leaving it on the side.

They close at 10, so at 9:30 they started sweeping and mopping around my table, rude! Plus, the cleaning agents they use are strong of some of use with sensitive allergies and etc. I will not allow my colleagues to come here during the rest of our stay. They really need some customer service training. I will also, let the hotel I’m staying at know that they are right, this is not a great place. I was tired after a long day, but should have taken a cab or über elsewhere.

Ate here today. Food was good, but the menu options are not quite as extensive as I was hoping. Not so much Asian fusion food, as in influences from different cultures in the food, and more like food from different Asian countries with no alterations in the recipe.
Had the walnut shrimp which was very nice. Great service. Location is nice with a bar facing the street and a plug if needed. Had a nice section with multiple gluten free options.

The place is clean and the service was excellent. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. I have to admit that I was disappointed with the food. It was a little too greasy for my liking, and the flavor wasn’t great. I can’t quite put my finger on what was wrong, but it seemed like way too much soy sauce, and a smell that was more like dog food than pad Thai.
I’m not sure I will come back.

We were in the area and I wanted Asian food. We came to Plum Café on Unilocal’s reviews. I had the vegetable medley w beef, which was a nice sized portion of fresh veggies, beef and a lovely sauce. My husband had the yellow curry, which he really liked, except the potatoes, but had a good amount of spice. I’d say the curry has a string lemongrass zing, so if that’s to your liking, you’ll probably like the curry too. You get a choice of 3 rices.

Very disappointed with the food quality and the fast food feel. I ordered the soup of the day (hot and sour soup), egg rolls, and sesame chicken. Rubbery vegetables, and the chicken dish had an odd sourness to it. Disappointed

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Albuquerque for almost a year and haven’t been to Plum Café. Nestled right between my apartment and my place of work, is this culinary gem. My boyfriend and I shared the tofu spring rolls, which were so fresh and crisp. We also ordered tofu pad Thai and General Tsos tofu with brown rice (again, incredible.) We had Kirin with dinner and Thai Teas to go for dessert. The service was so friendly, the ambiance, relaxing. Beyond excited to have found healthy Plum Café among fast food and chain restaurant options near Jefferson.

Good spot for lunch if you work in the area. The prices are very reasonable and the food is served hot and is quite good. Booth and table seating is available and a decent sized party can be accommodated if needed. The staff is friendly and it is a very clean place.

If you want a fancy yet AUTHENTIC southeast Asian cuisines, then this is the place for you.
Most of the authentic Asian restaurants don’t care about their décor or customer services — sad to say but true, however that’s not the case for this place. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming and intimate. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding.
I personally have a chance to meet the chef and he’s an awesome guy. His take and twist on Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese food are impeccable.
I have a very very picky palet and my palet approves this place.

Actually stopped in here because a different restaurant was closed (it was labor day). I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients that made up my meal tasted extremely fresh. The noodles in my soup tasted fresh as well, not like they’ve been soaking for days. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

It is a lot like Pei Wei, even more expensive but for the location it’s priced normal.
