This Pier 1 was a bit disappointing. It had the usual fare — dishes, furniture — but I was in desperate need of some utensils. No Dice. The store’s location is good… right off of Louisiana near Uptown ABQ. I don’t know how new the store is, nor do I know how much business it does. The parking lot was a bit slow when I was there.
If you’ve been at Pier 1 before, you know what to expect. Nothing ground-​breaking or earth-​shattering.

Bigger selection that the one over on the Westside. Prices are a little on the steep side for the quality of stuff they carry.

I generally like Pier 1. Quality imported goods, great variety, and friendly staff. This one is no exception. My only gripe about this location is that the store is too small to hold all the merchandise they have crammed into every ounce of space. It’s hard to browse without nearly knocking something over.
