Solid pizza in Old Town. Parking can be a problem because of that. Staff is very helpful & friendly. Neat/unusual menu items done well.

No stars for this place. It should not take 45 min to come out and tell you another ten mins because we had a big order of five pizzas come in blah blah blah. Oh this is after we ordered at a counter and sat ourselves… if you want service go to NYPD downtown because you will age considerably waiting in Old Town for a pizza in this place.

Very quaint and the pizza was delicious. Customer service was awesome, and they were very accommodating(they let a friend and I do half and half pizza toppings with different sauces). Staff was friendly and didn’t seem to mind us lingering past closing time. They also provided a bevy of recommendations for local fare. Parlor pizza with green chile was interesting, and the crust was a pleasant surprise. Tasty, crisp but tender.

We went over Thanksgiving break and felt like pizza. I ordered cheese, which was good. My boyfriend had nothing but fantastic things to say about the calzone– it was huge and filled him right up! Price was reasonable, only deduction in star is because we waited for our food for foreverrrr. It was a Saturday night, so I get it, but we genuinely thought they may have forgotten about us for awhile there. They had an amazing looking brownie-cookie combo dessert that we didn’t get to try because we were afraid how long another order would take to come out. I wanted to go back later in the week for dessert only but we never got a chance. Would visit again!

This is some of the best Pizza I have had. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered The Big Fat Greek and Figgit About It. I’m in Pizza Heaven! We are in town from Weatherford Texas for the Balloon Fiesta. If you get the chance stop in the great joint and have a great slice of pie.

Called on one of my favorite restaurants to cater my up coming wedding. Mike the owner of Old Town Pizza Parlor just started a new catering business so I gave the local business a try for my wedding this past weekend(Sept 5); food here is awesome. Unfortunately that’s where it stops, Mike is not the best person on communication. For an event like a wedding seems to be too much for him to handle. I understand his catering business is still new to him but if you can’t handle the amount of people you shouldn’t offer your services. Communications between his employees, E-mail, Text messages, and calling his line go unanswered or ignored. In the middle of the wedding his staff was to supply ice and drinks until the event was over at 10 pm. They weren’t aware of our event which was across the street from their main store. Nor were they made aware that they were to supply the drinks and ice all night. None the less my guest were happy with their meals but shortly after eating my parents had to leave due to the lack of water that wasn’t supplied. I had to go to Walgreen’s across the street and get my guest bottles of water. Total fail in catering if you ask me! Unfortunate turn of events but it’s still good food for a restaurant but I won’t be showing up there ever again. I had three other couples getting married and had them turn away from his catering business.

Great patio and live music? Yes! We heard some awesome music in Old Town town and followed where it was coming from. found it here. Great local band playing. We had just finished celebrating our anniversary next door at Antiquity our favorite all time restaurant(another must place to check into)… Anyhow, perfect way to end a wonderful night. Oh, hold on… Rating on the food at the pizza parlor? That’ll have to be for my next visit…

This place had awesome pizza my daughter also LOVED the Mac and cheese! The service, however, was not friendly at all. I’d go back just for the pizza though! And that’s saying something!

Old town pizza closes way too early. I’ve encountered this in the summer when at 9:00 I’m too late to dine. Tonight headed over for dinner at 8:00 and encountered a closed sign reflecting earlier winter closing times. Grrr. C’mon a pizza place closed at 8:00? Pretty frequent diner here. Pizza is okay, not my favorite. But the calzones are GREAT. Half-priced draft beer on Mondays which is wonderful if you can get there on time.

Amazing and fresh! Didn’t even wait long. Made our own pizza and was delicious. Regretted not getting a bigger size. Definitely a go to when we come back to Albuquerque. Hidden gem

4 stars because it’s great for the area, but not my favorite pizza of all time. We live between the north valley and Old Town and this is by far our favorite nearby pizza place. We usually get take out but I’m a fan of their local beer selection if we dine-in. They also have a lunch buffet daily from 11a-2p, good deal but I prefer to order fresh pizza with toppings I like. If you’re there when the weather is good, sit outside on their enclosed patio in the back. Some days they even have live music out on the patio. If you’re not in the mood for pizza don’t pass on the green chile alfredo, the portion is huge but you won’t be disappointed! Plus for the military folks, they offer a discount.

Every time I’m in town I have to go here. I love that they have local beer on tap to enjoy with the pizza. Last week when I was there I got the Farmer’s Market(veggies galore) pizza but added pepperoni. YUM. TRYTHEBRUSCHETTA! Oh man, so glad I got that last time. My favorite pizza is the spicy sauce with pepperoni, pineapple and green chile.

Although it has two dollar signs and people complain about the«priciness,» don’t let that fool you. The generously-sized portions(over a pound of pasta that I was not able to finish) mean that it is actually pretty reasonably priced(keep in mind that I’m also from the Bay Area, so I have a different definition of expensive and cheap). Keep in mind that rent prices are also probably higher in Old Town, which might be another factor for the«priciness.» The meatball ziti was hearty and delicious, the calzone was also nicely done and was well-stuffed. I just wish they offered pesto pasta. If you ride the ABQ trolley and keep your sticker, you can get either a free breadstick or spumoni ice cream dessert with your purchase. This is a nice hole-in-the-wall. I don’t know where parking is during peak times because they don’t seem to have a lot. Maybe at the Walgreens across the street?

I was pretty excited to finally be able to try this pizza parlor out! We came for dinner and it was a pretty busy all night until we left close to 9pm. We sat inside and I will say, if its a HOT summer day in ABQ, this is the place to come cool down! Its borderline freezing in there. I nearly froze all my paws off! You order first at the counter then sit down, we decided on a large Kitchen Combo pizza $ 25! Yes… its kind of expensive :-( Pizza is a good size large, and its LOADED with huge chunky veggies. Almost to the point of looking like a salad on top of a pizza. Unfortunately, the veggies weren’t all cooked thru, almost raw on the thick chops of mushrooms and bell peppers. But I’m starving and it really is tasty. This pizza, to me, is almost«healthy». There isn’t much cheese on it, it’s not greasy, crust is thin, and even the red sauce isn’t too much. It’s crazy loaded with veggies, I just can’t get over that. I think next time I’d ask for it be cooked just a little longer, crispier crust and better cooked through veggies. My 2 cons: 1. Price. It’s up there in the price range for a pizza. Lunch buffet might be a better option. 2. I didn’t care too much for the slight sweetness of the dough. Personal preference and nothing at all against their style or anyone else’s taste. I think I really do want to go back for lunch. Mondays are Micro Mondays when all the micro brews are $ 2.25 pint. That’s a deal there! I ordered a cherry coke, and they put a maraschino cherry in it: D I like those little details.

Thought about it for a bit, then went with the ring of fire. Thats one a’spicy meat-a-ball. Even though there’s no meatballs on it. Goes great with some local ipa on tap. Nose running pretty good. Thats a good sign.

Being a local… I just don’t venture much into Old Town as much as I should; but when I do I always pay homage to Old Town Pizza Parlor… Just Yummy food all around! The buffet is where its at & you’ll get the most Italiano Bada-Bing for your buck… an no, gangsters don’t frequent the joint… just really nice wait staff who allow you to pick your table from any of the several adjoining rooms where you feel you just entered someone’s private home. The rustic feel of the floor boards squeaking and vintage signage make you feel like you’ve been transported to Ducali in NorthendBoston. I highly recommend any dish that incorporates their signature marinara ‘gravy’…thick & zesty~ my mouth salivates as I write this jus thinking about it & wishing I worked closer to the place for lunch! The buffet is awesome as I said & for $ 8 you get an all you can eat sampling of many dishes they offer! But it only runs until 3pm on the wkends so get there early!

Old Town is just not a good place to eat. In general, the restaurants suck, the service is awful and it’s not worth your time or money. However, there are a few notable exceptions(Antiquities, La Crêpe Michel, Church Street Café). On the low end Old Town Pizza Parlor is really the only decent choice. Luckily it’s pretty darn good! The staff are really nice, and we have never had a bad experience with anyone working there. They have been — without exception — excellent at caring for us. The pizza is pretty good, and they have inventive choices. But what’s nice is that they don’t have just pizza, they also offer subs, salads, pastas, some interesting appetizers — it’s a pretty good variety of stuff for a pizza joint. I had the new penne with basil and tomato sauce recently — except I substituted the creamy tomato sauce for regular marinara. Not bad, but the pasta was a little overcooked. Overall, though, pretty good dish, and HUGE!!! I took half of it home and had it for lunch the next day. My man really likes their pizza, probably because they have great green chiles. He does love his chiles! But the pizza in general is pretty darn good. Sauce, crust, cheese, toppings — all very tasty. And they are cool with half-and half orders as well as substitutions. The restaurant is laid out oddly, with little rooms here and there, and a single bathroom off to one side. We keep trying to eat on the back patio, with no success as yet — right now they have a basement flooding issue and a big hole in the backyard that prevents dining out there, but we hear it’s really nice and they have bands out back in the summer. We will get out there! Of course, the best part about this place is that they have beer on tap and a not horrible selection of wines. Nothing crazy good, but good enough for pizza and pasta — a decent chianti and some pretty good sauvignon blancs, among others. They will also come by and see if you want another, which is awesome! It’s a cute little Italian-decorated place with fun kitsch on the walls and a good atmosphere. It’s a good place to hang and relax on the outskirts of Old Town, and on its own that would be good enough, but given the competition in a five block range, it’s nearly a godsend. Definitely go if you are in Old Town — worth your time and money.
