Kudos for even having a used CD section, but after a 30 minute search through their entire selection I found nothing… nada…zilch. I think it may be a first for me. Either they don’t get many new arrivals or it’s just very picked-over. Otherwise, the staff was nice enough and they were playing good indie rock.

I really miss, Natural Sound. What a great, local, hip, and friendly music store located in Nob Hill. What I loved SO much was the great used selection of classic Cd’s. It is also a great place to sell your Cd’s too! The buy back price is reasonable. They also sell concert tickets& posters. Along the front windows you will find a bunch of flyers distributed by local performing artists & groups. This is a great way to find a hip thing to do while strolling through, Albuquerque. Ps. Near the front door you can sometimes find a stash of posters that they are giving away, FORFREE!

Natural Sound is a small indie record store, which has fairly catholic tastes. Do you need a cheap new age CD, reissues of blues LPs, or used 77 punk records? Well, if the answer is yes to any of these, then Natural Sound might be your best local bet. Since new vinyl is difficult to find in Albuquerque, I mostly have to rely on the web(such as Dusty Groove, Insound, Jackpot, Reckless). However, Natural Sound is one of the few places in town you can find new copies of indie LPs, which you might be searching for. Also, please note, they have a new location: 4011 Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM87108
