My refrigerated air was on the blink and My home warranty people assigned this company. They charged $ 77.00 for the service call. We were told the AC was shot because some valves had been removed and since it had been exposed to outside air we needed a new unit costing between $ 4,000 to $ 6,000. before spending that amount of money, we got a 2nd opinion. Guess what? The second guy got the unit to run and thank God it is still running(all for $ 135) and he used recycled freon which cost us nothing! Well I called the owner of Moreno and told him what transpired. He said that his guys made a service call and then proceeded to tell me it wouldn’t be good to fix the unit because it had been exposed to outside air! That is like telling someone you broke your bone and even though we could fix it we won’t because that would be bad for the leg. He then swiftly hung up the phone. No offer of the $ 77.00 back! Stupidly abounds, Moreno has lost a customer FORLIFE and I will tell everyone I know DONTGONEARSTHISCOMPANY. Plus they got a shitty review for all of Albuquerque to see!!!

I had never heard of Moreno Plumbing but they were the contractor that American Home Shield works with so I ended up using them to repair two leaky faucets. Even though American Home Shield was frustrating to work with Moreno was great to work with. Got everything resolved in the same day in a timely fashion. One faucet just needed a new cartridge the other needed to be completed replaced. Ernie and Crystal were very helpful and spent the time to make sure all my needs were addressed. They even called later to confirm that everything was still working well. They don’t take credit cards but if you are using AHS you can make your credit card payment through them. So there’s a functional work around in that regard.

These people don’t take credit cards or debit cards. They charged us a high price for a swamp cooler. We were forced to use them because of our American Home Warranty. They installed a valve wrong so we had a water leak. We even got a letter from the utility guys saying that we had a leak. Our water bills have been sky high. Now we know why. I called Moreno, they wanted to charge us $ 88 to come out to the house to look at it. In actuality we could take them to small claims court on this one. If this was my company I would have apologized profusely and came right out to fix the problem. This small business will not succeed without customer service skills… and ps, who doesn’t take cc and debt cards. duh
