Metta Rupa Massage & Bodyworks

I first went to Metta Rupa because i had received a groupon gift certificate a year ago. My first experience was great. Eric has managed to work out my trouble spots and help me in feeling relaxed and stress free each time.
He’s professional and works with my schedule. He incorporates different styles and techniques of massages into each session based on my needs and what i want to try.
He even teaches massage, so I’m pretty sure it’s safe to say he knows what he’s doing. He also offers medical massages.
He even offers a punch card! (Love that)
I give him 5 stars because I’ve never had an issue or a bad experience going to Metta Rupa. Definitely woth the time and money.

I am very physically active, and as such, am constantly sore. Eric took the time to go over a bit of activity history and any conditions he needed to know about (like my scoliosis) before showing me to a dimly lit room with some chill mood music going. I was given plenty of time to look around, breathe, and undress to my comfort level before burying myself under the soft sheet before he checked to see if I was ready and started to work. He was gentle where I asked him to be gentle (a healing sunburn), and really worked out all those sore spots in legs and back.
I’ve become a regular — not just for sports aches, but also for relief of tension, headaches, and general pampering. We chat if I want to chat, and if I want to lay back and relax and let all the stress of life wash away, he just quietly works and respects my need for that.
Bonus: His hours are super flexible, he can usually get you in fairly quickly, and he’s close enough to my office for a lunchtime retreat. Definitely recommended.

I was experiencing lower back pain as well as a sharp pain underneath my shoulder blade, I was sore and having trouble getting comfortable when I went to sleep. I searched around for a few places, but there was a ton of mixed reviews. I called this place and the gentlemen on the phone mentioned a special so I thought I’d give it a try. It took a couple of sessions and the knots in my back started to go away, he was helpful with tips on stretching and recommended trying a session of acupuncture for the stress. Anyway, I’ve been going every week since, because his hours are flexible, other places I would have had to take time off work. The reason for 5 stars the office is quiet, relaxing and pricing is reasonable, it allows me to go weekly.

I received a massage at Metta Rupa Massage & Bodyworks after four to five months of having no work done. They were DEFINITELY accommodating to my scheduling needs as well as very responsive in all communications. I have re-​booked with them and will likely continue to do so. I hope that when people read the negative review posted before this, they consider the fact that Groupons are purchased all the time and sometimes a business may not have the availability that every client desires… EXCELLENT massage therapist.

Do not come here! Absolutely the worst customer service! I bought a groupon about 3 months ago and have been calling them twice a week to schedule an appointment but nobody answers and when I would leave a voicemail nobody would return a call. I finally emailed them 2 ½ weeks before Groupon expired and finally got an email from Eric asking when I wanted to schedule. He was willing to schedule an appointment with me before Groupon expired until I mentioned I had a Groupon. Then he said I can only do it the following week but you have to pay the difference. I tried explain to him that I would have scheduled earlier but nobody got back to me but he was very rude and unprofessional on the email, at the end of the email he said I needed to just call Groupon and get a refund because he didn’t want to deal with people who buy Groupons. After that experience, I would not recommend this company to anybody. I understand they obviously don’t get paid as much with a Groupon but we are still customers too and should not be treated like we are less than any other customer.
