Sat there for 10 minutes on Sunday evening, wasnt that full, not even one waiter came to the table. As i was leaving, 5 waiters just standing around near the front. Not coming back.

My colleague and I tried the two slices of pizza, a salad and a drink for lunch. Salads were meh and the pepperoni pizza slices were double meh. The pizza crusts were super thin and greasy. Service was top notch but the food was average, nothing to write home about. I’ll try other items in the next few weeks to see if they’re any better.

Still one of my favorite spots in town. I didn’t have a chance to try their Gelato. Maybe next time, yet my food is still the best.

Great Italian food. Never dissatisfied with the food here, ever! Homemade and affordable!!! A true ABQ treasure. The service is friendly and efficient. The menu has something for everyone. Not in the mood for pasta? Have a Reuben sandwich! We had the lobster ravioli special. It has a tomato Alfredo sauce. So yummy, and creative. We also shared a Tiramisu and lemon cake between 5 of us, with a full as we were, it disappeared super fast!!!

I’ve been coming here for years. Always consistent, always good. Not fancy, just good homemade Italian food. My favorite is Linguine with White Clam Sauce. It isa wine a garlic based broth with plenty of clams and flavor.

I have never been disappointed in Marios. It is a great place for Italian food. I love their desserts there too. Everything is good here.

OMG every time I go it’s great food and great service. Will definitely go back. My favorite is the lasagna. House salad is also a great side choice.

My girlfriend and I eat here a few times a month. The spaghetti is pretty much exactly how she likes it. My favorite is the tortellini with the tomato alfredo sauce, although I’ve been trying other things, and I’ve liked most of them. Their sauces are top notch. My dog really likes their meatballs, although she only gets them sometimes. The service at this location is consistently good and attentive. I’ve taken my family to the 4th Street location and they were slow and forgetful, even though we were the only large table at the time. Food is always great though.

$ 22.50 for a pizza??? And not a giant one either; those are $ 35! It would probably be ok if it was a great pizza, but I’d barely say it was«good.» For that kind of money get Pizza Hut or Deion’s; it’s way better!

First. The chicken parmesan sub is reliably delicious. Second. Nothing else is. We ordered pizza and wings and delivery was prompt but before we had a bite I needed to call and complain about the wings, which were comically small. I spoke to a very helpful manager who refunded our wing money very quickly. Alas we hadn’t actually tried the pizza. The crust was doughy and the«white sauce» was scant and flavorless. We both actually lamented that we didn’t just pick up a frozen pie. For $ 22 I really shouldn’t be craving a tombstone. The ultimate lesson, Mario’s for a chicken parm and anywhere else for a pizza.

Great food! My boyfriend and I had the tortellini and southwest chicken pasta. Large portions, yummy flavors, and delicious garlic bread! Definitely recommend it for a reasonably priced, sit down Italian restaurant. Only critique: the salad included with the meal was just iceberg lettuce. Otherwise, will be coming back!

So our family decided to have a birthday dinner at Mario’s on San Pedro last night. There where six of us. We arrived and informed the hostess that we wanted it to be a surprise and we picked out what cake we wanted she said no problem and that she would tell our server and put our candles in the cake, to be brought out after our meal. So everyone comes in and sits down, sever comes over and say’s hello… so who’s birthday is it! So first disappointment surprise blown! We went ahead and placed our order. We ordered a giant size pizza to share and some salad. Food came out… pizza looked good so we all dug in. When I started on my second slice I spotted what looked like a black hair peaking out from under the melted cheese, so I grabbed the end of it and pulled out a 4″ black hair! Let me say this. I worked over 20 years in the restaurant business so I don’t get really freaked out to much, I understand things happen. So I placed it on my napkin and told the rest of the table to stop eating. Well others at our table we very much so freaked out, my mother in law couldn’t keep from gagging. So we informed our server about the hair. She said she would send over the owner to talk with us. After waiting five minutes for the owner. he comes over and says what’s the problem here? So I show him the hair and he continues to stare at it for a bit then says to the table«Well I don’t know how this could happen all his guys are wearing hats, never said I’m sorry, Didn’t remove our plates and the rest of the hairy pizza, never asked if we wanted something else… NOTHING!!! Then he just walked away… sever came over and asked if we wanted something else, and she apologized to us. I cannot believe this rude clown was the owner!!! No service from him at all! Pathetic! So we left our server a tip(even though she also wasn’t very good a the whole service part of her job) and we left not knowing if he even had comped the ticket or not… NEVERAGAINMARIO’S!

Okay L.A.Z.Y. Unilocaler here for the second time in one day. I didn’t pack my lunch, I work mere yards from Mario’s…so what’s a hungry Unilocaler to do? I ordered their Cibatta deluxe chicken sandwich. This sandwich has pesto mayonnaise, green chile, on yummy bread. I probably shot my calorie count to Gallup… but it was delicious and very satisfying. Mario’s has been around for a long time and I’m proud to work in the same shopping center and know the entire Burgarello family. Molte Bene!

I really enjoy coming here and grabbing some soup and a slice of pizza. I am a self professed pizza snob but I give Mario’s pie a thumbs up. I can’t give 2 thumbs up because it’s a little too doughy in consistency but they have several traditional Italian meal choices on their menu and for that I praise them! I always get a bowl of soup(last time it was the Manhattan Clam Chowder-YUM!), and it never dissapoints in flavor. I love their breadsticks but their sauce is a little on the watery side. They have an affordable kids menu, which I appreciated. They recently expanded and opened a little gelatoria on the side of their restaurant which is good but it’s hard to beat Frost who did it first, offers more flavors and charges a little less. However, it’s still tasty gelato if you’re in the mood for a treat. All in all, this is our go to spot when we want to grab a slice and a drink and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an Italian meal fix. The prices are a little high but there’s a lot of competition. This place is legit – I think the owners are straight from Italy and Mario’s is an Albuquerque staple so check them out!

Came here for dinner and split an order of chicken parm and a side order of meatballs(the dinner also came with a side salad). The chicken parm was tasty but it wasn’t amazing and I probably wouldn’t get it again. It was covered with a slice of deli cheese and the sauce was a bit bland. The meatballs were great… lots of flavor and really soft. And the Garlic bread was really tasty too… not fancy but really good. Overall the experience was fine. The restaurant was clean. The service was fine and the food was ok. We probably wouldn’t come back but I certainly wouldn’t talk anybody out of coming here.

Very tasty gelato. Good atmosphere, helpful staff. We had the coconut and pistachio, having had gelato all over Europe I would say the flavor and texture is definitely what we were used to. My only complaint was that I shared it with my wife and she ate most of it.

Don’t come in at 8:30pm you’ll get poor service with attitude. Yes they close at 9:30 but when is that ok to not give good customer service. We ordered a pitcher which came out a bit rushed like it was forgotten and spilt all over table which we had to go ask for napkins. The manager was so kind to have came out to wipe the table for us and asked if we had made that mess. When I said«no,“it was your server». He was not surprised whatsoever. His response was«oh, I can believe that!» We ordered a large five topping pizza«thin» crust. Which was repeated«THINCRUST» pls. She nodded and left. When the pizza came and I had asked«is this your thin crust?» She failed to inform us that their thin crust wasn’t the normal thin crust we would expect before placing our order. When it was questioned about how their thin crust was. We got the run around then offered to make a new one. Knowing that they ignored the request for thin crust in the first place. Declined and left unsatisfied. It states in their menu that they make thin crust or thick crust. And yes I will not return not eat that pie they try to pass off for a «thin crust!» Warning to anyone that comes in and hour or 30 minutes before closing. Expect to be ignored and rushed. Thank you but no I will not be returning. I would rather order Dominos or Pizza Hut.

When I’m in the mood for American-style Italian food, I head to Mario’s.(It helps that it is just a few blocks from my mom’s house.) This is a long, narrower restaurant. Big arched windows along the front. Most of the tables are 4-tops, a few bigger round ones. The paper placemats are charming to me; not sure why. Service is usually great here. Iced tea glasses are to my satisfaction and rarely empty. I’ve had the calzones here and I like them. The pizza is ok. Pasta is usually a little on the overcooked side, but the tomato sauces taste pretty fresh. Today, I asked for the stuffed sole special. The filling was a little gummy, but the fish was perfectly cooked. Couldn’t really taste the capers. Lots of butter/oil in the dish, but surprisingly, the fish didn’t taste heavy or oily. I couldn’t detect any crab in the stuffing. Their minestrone soup has tons of vegetables, which I love. Salads are big. If you ask for dressing on the side, you get a small portion, which is so much better than many places giving you ½ cup or more of dressing. Portions are human sized. The bread isn’t bad at all. They sell jarred sauce. There are always enormous cookies and brownies by the cashier. I have never had to wait more than 2 minutes here to get a seat. I appreciate that.
